     I wanted to give you an update on my job interviews. Just last week I applied to 3 different help desk Tech support positions using the resume from your videos as well as Jobskillshare videos. I had my very 1st IT interview on Skype this week and it went so well they offered me the position on the spot! Keep in mind I have no experience, no degree and not even my A+...but I have been studying for a good while and setup my own practice lab. I was able to talk with confidence and in detail about questions they were asking me because of the countless hours I put into learning on your channel as well as Jobskillshare channel. I am currently doing a background check and should be starting around the first week of June which is next week. The position is level 1 help desk and is a remote position working from home for a virtual school helping students and teachers.
    Thanks again Kevtech ❤ I have some of the interview questions they asked me if you would like I can share let me know.

    Hey Kevin, I know this is unrelated but what do you think the AZ 900? I was thinking about taking that to get my first cert in Azure then move to other certs since the MCSA is been retired and everything is going cloud based. Also would you say cert are important or would you say experience is?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's funny you mentioned this because I have to take those certs this year. You should have both experience and certs. Some companies will hire you if you have experience while other companies might ask for the cert. Than there's the 3rd option where a company ask for both experience and certs. I believe some companies are still onsite premise set up with server 2016 so mcsa is still being needed or used if that makes sense.

    Good information. If awells logs onto his own computer and goes to his c-explorer. He types in, for example, "\\servername\home\jchan", would awells be able to see the filepath name itself minus the actual contents of the file or would awells get an error message that states, "file does not exist"?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He would get an error message because it only belongs to jchan.

    Hi Kevin. Thank you for the videos! I was wondering if you have already done a video about how to download the Microsoft Exchange Server 2019. For some reason I am having trouble finding the iso file.

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      why not use 2016? it's pretty much the same thing.

      @@KevtechITSupport ok. It was because I have a windows server 2019 VMware. So a 2016 exchange server could work on windows server machine 2019?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not going to work. 2016 exchange isn't compatible with 2019. I would have a video on it but it doesn't work on 2019 because it's not supported for that os. It only works on server 2016.

    Hey man, very noce video 👍
    I know you can resolve a locked user account via AD in a metter of seconds, but if you have somebody who gets the message constantelly (every other day), what could you do to solve it permanetelly

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I answered that question in another video. If that happens than you use account locked tool or a 3rd party app that tells you what keeps locking out the client.

  • @gameclips3387
    @gameclips3387 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    what happens if you delete an account? does it delete all his files too and everyhting under domain account?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      good question, its on the server and the server has his profile on it. It will most likely delete everything unless you have backups or recycle bin on.

    • @gameclips3387

      @@KevtechITSupport so the domain account is not jsu user name and password, its also file,drive and setup as well?

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Domain account gets deleted on active directory, they might lose everything but it also depends how its set up. Whenever you login on a computer, it adds files to it. Those files on the pc or work machine doesn't go away. You can still captured that even though the account deleted on active directory.

      if its joined to the company system than you can't really fix that issue unless your department unlocks it.
