Man this is awesome, my laptop is running very slow. Gotta check to see if the windows explorer just needs to be restarted or i need to restore defaults
Hey, just wondering with the first ticket where you ran explorer.exe. Does that permanently fix the problem or will it go back to a black screen the next time they log out? How would you permanently force explorer.exe to run every time someone logs in? Will restore defaults fix that?
Say if you had to log in with your admin account. Would you physically go to their room, log in, add keyboard, log back out and go back to your IT technician room? Or since a lot of people are working remotely, are you able to log in with admin account via Remote Desktop?
Hey,kev if I finished school and while in school I got I.t certifications and they expired would the expired i,t certifications still be useful in the job market or would i need to get a new certs to get hired?
Janet: How are you going to fix it Kevin?
Kevin: don't worry about it

that sounds more like a memory or hard drive issue.
@@KevtechITSupport i was thinking memory too.
I'll check the memory and hard drive first since those are easiest to check. And it is getting old so hard drive might be going bad
That makes sense. Replace it with an ssd.
@@KevtechITSupport yeah i think I will do that

Yes, restore fixes it. Sometimes it can be something else like a bad user profile.

You just use Remote desktop app and the app allows you to elevate the account for admin rights. By remote desktop I mean screen share app.
bomgar, sccm any desk, allows you to elevate your account as admin. You don't need remote desktop app tool.
what do you think about the google IT support certificate?
I'm not against them but I don't see anyone asking for them on indeed, dice.com or any tech websites. I see more comptia a+ on all these websites.
Kevin what ticketing system are you using ?
Here it's fresh service. At work I use remedy.

I have expired certs and there still on my resume.
Spoiler alert, they are Kevin Macleod
