What tools do you recommend for learning O365 and Exchange, also ticketing systems. I'm currently trying to get into the IT field. I realized that my certification does nothing for the hands on experience required in a help desk role. So I figured I'd learn those tools on my own.
no, you can still use server 2012. It almost the same as server 2016 but server 2016 has some add ins. It's perfect for work experience. I keep telling everyone that it doesn't matter what you learn, learn as much as you can. You never know if you might use it in another job.
I don't own a cisco router and I don't have a license for this, otherwise I would make a video. My job would killed me if I made a video on this from my job.
That's just a security group. This group is created by cybersecurity. I wouldn't know how to give access to cisco vpn. It's done with both network admin and cybersecurity. We don't configure that.
@@rockain5 we don't configure it. We usually just add someone to a security group which allows them to have access to vpn. We also add a config file into program data so Cisco can connect to the company profile. That's pretty much it on my end. I don't deal with networking or Cisco configuration.

Also make videos of what tools you use ie. Rsat, Citrix, dameware, ticketing systems etc.

Install exchange on a vm and server. Learn exchange 365 and active directory on a vm. After you have a good understanding than add it to your resume.

You grabbed there username and confirm that it's the right person that's calling.
Is there a certain Lab Sim that you recommend? Like TestOut or something else?
Testout expensive. Better off doing labs on the cloud for free using aws, azure, gcp or using vmware.

Commonly, people in company use RSA checkpoint to acess their stuff when they work from home.
