    The biggest regret in my life is chosing this phone. 4 weeks ago i bought this phone, 1week after i went to vacation and while sitting at the airport the phone slipped from my pocket, the screen looked totally fine but the upside of the phone side was scratch a little so i thought it was fine. But a week after i suddenly found the phone screen was crack like it just dropped (the crack is in the down side, not where it was scratch). It was surprised me that time since the phone always in my hand, or put it on the table if i dont use it and never ever fell again after the one time at the airport. So i was assuming maybe it was the lack of the factory, cus maybe when they produce many phones there would be one or two that has not so good quality, so i told the shop about it and they said we gotta tell Samsung, but Samsung said thats customer fault and no guarantee for that. So my point is, i bought this phone because its small, look compatible, and also a bit expensive so i thought it would be strong and have a good durable material especially for the screen, but its all dissapointing :3

I've been thinking about upgrading to the S22 or S22+ because of the GPS, but at this point, it looks more and more like a downgrade. The S22 has less RAM, no MicroSD card, 45W charging is no faster than 25W, and now on top of everything else, a shatter-prone glass panel.

    dropping on the un-even surface like that is unstable to test and cannot tell anything

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well in real life, you don't drop it on perfectly smooth surfaces. Testing it on a flat and smooth surface is not an accurate test. Its like saying if the phone was wrapped in bubble wrap then it would not break. :)

    • @MastiffMike1
      @MastiffMike1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I noticed how he drops it and most of the time the face (front or back) doesn't touch the ground until AFTER it bounces a few times on the EDGES. Thus most of the kinetic energy has already been dissipated. So really, this drop test is for how well the edges hold up and absorb or redirect the impact force.

    • @robocopvn
      @robocopvn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PBKreviews in real life your phone can be drop from 2 meters and has some minor bend, or its screen can be totally broken only dropped from the table of 70cm height.
      So what's the point of your series? LUCK TEST I suppose.

      lol yep, I can tell that the screens are better than the early generations but I can't tell much of a difference between the recent ones. I do know they work on scratch resistance as well but yep nothing revolutionary has popped up as far as I can tell from them in the recent releases.

    there is a difference, curved screen will shatter easier on side drops, while the flat with the frame will hold better....

    Why do people do drop tests on flat ground? From my experience with Samsung phones accidently dropping them on hard uneven concrete ground like the pavement results in a shattered screen from just one drop. These youtube drop test videos are no good because they all use a flat surface for the drop test. The reality is dropping a phone by accident will more likely happen on uneven surfaces resulting in cracked screens and a lot of damage after just one drop. Also at the end of the video the guy says a case will be needed to protect the phone. I can tell you now a case will not stop a Samsung phone from cracking.....I know because its happened to me. I accidently dropped my S21 Ultra on uneven hard ground and the screen cracked even though I had an expensive Ottobox case on it. The truth is Samsung phones are the most fragile and so they are the worse phones to own.
