Dropped a lifter on my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3 liter. Ended up just paying out the extra money to do a full DOD delete and get rid of the junk lifters and cam. I bought the kit that came with this tuner. From what I understand, this option is the only way to make the 5.3 so called bullet proof. Time will tell. Thanks for the video. It was useful to make sure I turned the AFM to the correct setting and how to get there. Take care.
@JoseRodriguez-jl5ih are you asking me or someone else in this comment section? If me, I never ran e85 but I did do the diablo tune to keep it from trying to switch back to V4 mode, yes. Just tuning it out doesn't stop the lifters from failing. It might, as best, delay it to a degree but I had a Range Technology on mine when the lifter clasped. Pretty much on the same frame as a diablo tune.
No you need to buy o2 bung extensions from advanced or oriellys think it’s like 25$.. it’s just an extension to push your o2 sensors further out of the pipe, clear code and it shouldn’t pop up cel anymore
