Regarding protein The problem is even if we prefer natural foods over some protein powder the daily requirement (1gram protein per kg weight) is still high. I am diligently following a self curated diet plan with good amount of food diversity still the protein intake only fulfills ~65-70% of total protein requirement. It makes me wonder that something is wrong with the protein requirement calculations.

In our home, I have been fed sattu from childhood. And the sattu we ate, is not channa sattu. It used to be a mix of chana and jau sattu. (Chana and barley ) This makes it a complete protein, is tastier and has diverse micronutrients. I don’t know why people only talk about chana sattu. Thats not how its eaten. It is eaten as a mix, that has been the traditional appeoach, thats tastier and healthier, gives complete protein!

No disrespect to Fit tuber but here's my view on protein - As someone who is mindful of cost and trying natural protein sources, I used to drink a Chana sattu shake every day, adding milk and some dates. However, I noticed that I gained a significant amount of weight. Since sattu is primarily a source of carbohydrates rather than protein, it’s not ideal for daily consumption if you're serious about building muscle. While whey protein is artificially created, that doesn’t mean it's harmful for human consumption. In fact, it's better, more convenient, and provides the quality protein that the body needs.
Thank God PPL are pointing him out. I understand what he is saying is nice but most of the Indians just love the fact that these are cheap, homemade (they have women labour to make them), and mainly NATURAL. IRL it doesn't work.

Instead of jaggery one can use pomegranate Aple or sweet lime

I have one question. In the first drink of carrot, beetroot and amla.. isn't it better to eat the fuits as whole rather than making a drink... I mean both will give us the nutritions so why do we need to make it into a juice ??

As someone who is mindful of cost and trying natural protein sources, I used to drink a Chana sattu shake every day, adding milk and some dates. However, I noticed that I gained a significant amount of weight. Since sattu is primarily a source of carbohydrates rather than protein, it’s not ideal for daily consumption if you're serious about building muscle. While whey protein is artificially created, that doesn’t mean it's harmful for human consumption. In fact, it's better, more convenient, and provides the quality protein that the body needs.
I absolutely agree. I am diabetic. Only Whey powder and eggs helped me manage blood glucose, gain muscle and stay fit.

I soak pumpkin seeds, cashews, almond s, dates and make smoothie with coconut milk. I also add sattu powder to that drink. It makes my whole breakfast. I feel full until lunch 🙂
