Starting at Zermatt village, the Glacier Express train during its around 8 hours journey halts at Brig, Andermatt, Disentis/Mustér, Chur, Tiefencastel, Filisur (change here if you want to get to Davos), Samedan, and St. Moritz stations. THE GLACIER EXPRESS - World’s Slowest and Switzerland’s most Elegant as well as Mighty Express train: In around 8 hours, the Glacier Express takes you across the Swiss Alps between St. Moritz and Zermatt regions, passing through narrow valleys, tight curves, 91 tunnels, and over 291 bridges including the unique Landwasser viaduct (UNESCO site). It climbs up to the 2044m elevation (Oberalppass) to the glistening Glaciers.

Yes number of cars remain fixed (with some exceptions). However, different Glacier Express trains have different number of coaches.

This video should have covered how to book reservation ,tickets,storage place for luggage in the compartments etc. for the general viewer. Continuous streaming of outside scenery becomes monotonous after a while.

Still beautiful ride. To bad seat reservations are doubled last few years. Price 2nd class in 2018 23 francs today 49 francs.
