In this 8K UHD video, we cover the spectacular panoramic journey experience of traveling in Eiger Express tricable Gondola from Grindelwald Terminal station (asl 937 m) to Eigergletscher station (asl 2328 m), vibes and views at the Eigergletscher platform, highlights of a beautiful Fallboden Lake (lying between Kleine Scheidegg and Eigergletscher station) and the return journey from Eigergletscher to Grindelwald village.
Eiger Express was launched in Dec. 2020 in the Swiss Alps near Interlaken, and has been advertised as World's most advanced tricable gondola/ cable car. It uses tricable technology to transport up to 26 passengers per gondola. Eiger Express ride is ~6.5 km long but remarkably needs only seven support pillars en route. As the system can transport up to 2,200 travelers per hour, this new faster route has become the more popular way to reach the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe mountain station.
Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe station in the Swiss Alps is a highly popular day-trip excursion for travellers/tourists in Switzerland. The new Eiger Express gondola from Grindelwald Terminal shortens the journey to Jungfraujoch by around 47 minutes. The traditional trains-only route from Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen is still available and may be combined with a cable car ride.

I was in Grindelwald in 1971 and have not gotten back since. I would love to revisit the area, especially taking the cable car and train rides. Beautiful part of our world.
I've been throughout Switzerland in the 70's. Indeed it is a beautiful country. Experienced a injury in Bern Switzerland during a Vox March which was a international gathering of military troops from many different countries. I was in a hospital in Bern Switzerland for 3 weeks. Great video! Try adding a 5 millisecond fade-in/fade-out to all your cuts and overlap the audio parts by 5ms where the clips butt up against each other. Get rid of those pesky pops and clicks that kill the flow and otherwise incredible experience.
