This camera has a fast sensor, a bit like a GoPro that doesn't roll shutter too much, but a real large sensor without excess pixels. It's precious, it doesn't exist too much anymore ...
Hi, thanks for your comment. You noticed that well, I wrote the wrong camera in the description. The pictures were taken with the GoPro Hero 8 Black and not with the Sony. I changed it in the description. Best regards RNA
@@relaxing_nature_ambience So that's the explanation. I knew the Sony A7 with 12Mpx for its ability to film the northern lights in real time with the stars twinkling, a feat that is almost impossible with modern sensors that are far too loaded with pixels. It is indeed a little contrasted, but I was surprised: indeed, in the years 2013-2015 I wanted to invest in video but I gave up because of the rolling shutter, and the first convincing images which no longer presented this defect. came from the GoPro 6 black, version 7 and version 8 followed with the same sensor, of 12Mpx, version 8 is the best because it still allows more flow with the same "old" sensor, and the GoPro version 9 is a disaster by what they put 23MPx. I have the GoPro 7 and am happy with it, but the bit rate in 60fps is a bit limiting. Version 8 would ease my frustration on this point. With large cameras the rolling shutter is often very disappointing, and more marked than with GoPro, because the image of a GoPro is cropped into the sensor for stabilization, which drastically reduces the rolling shutter.
Thank you that is a very good idea from you and I will film the routes again in good weather. But I wait until it has snowed before that everything is beautiful white. Regards RNA
The next train video will have the original sound because the sound recordings were also not disturbed, neither by the locomotive nor by passengers 😃 The video will appear in the coming days. Best regards RNA 🏔
No wonder you had a hard time editing the sound, you completely replaced the original audio with soundtracks from different other trains! Bummer. It's sometimes quite annoying you don't hear what you see. Video and audio should stick together. Respect for the amount of work though. And the video image is just fabulous, winter wonderland!
Hello, thank you for your comment. Only a part of the sounds are from other trains, many sounds are from the real train but since I had to cut out the noise of the passengers it was really a bit difficult. The next time I record a train video I will have to pay more attention to the original sound recordings. It bothered me myself and I was very disappointed about the noise. Wanted to underlay the video with music, but that would probably have become even worse. Thanks anyway for watching my video and best regards RNA 🏔
Thank you for your reply. I know recording audio can disappoint, and editing can be hard. Been there done that :) Now I'm just wondering, in the video description you write it's a locomotive from 1970. What make and type is it that it also may contain passengers? Is it more like an open rail carriage with just the driver in one end? I've been there once about 20 years ago and our train only had powerfull locomotives and seperate passenger cars, and about 5x loc-change between St Moritz and Zermatt.
Hello Unfortunately, I can't answer that for you. I have made the recordings with the GoPro camera. The sizes were not changed by me. Greetings and thank you for watching my video. RNA
Could you tell me if the train stop at these places? Because, in the glacier express site, they mentioned the stop after Brig is Zermatt. I'm planning on going to Switzerland this June and I gotta make necessary plans. If you say, the train stops at Visp and Stalden, even if it's not mentioned in the time table, I'd go with my plan.
Hello and thank you for the greetings 🤗 I send you best regards back from Switzerland. The tunnels are as long as they were built, unfortunately I can not change anything 😆
