- In the neighbourhood of Switzerland, a beautiful Car drive through Liechtenstein, which is Europe's 4th smallest and World's 6th smallest country (covering an area of 160km²). In this drive, we intend to show you only the broad landscape of this small country and its closeness to Switzerland. In another video/s, we will delve into the beauty of its villages and nature.
The Principality of Liechtenstein is located in the heart of Europe’s alpine region, between Switzerland and Austria. It is home to around 40,000 inhabitants, people from 108 nations. Yet, despite its compact size, the Principality of Liechtenstein offers everything you could wish for: mighty mountain landscapes, peaceful healing nature, charming villages and a vibrant cultural scene.
Euro or dollar? Neither! Since 1924 Liechtenstein has used the Swiss franc (CHF) as its official currency, though euros are also accepted.

Thank you for an excellent video. I am a huge enthusiast for public transport. I was struck by the large number of buses we saw, and the modern bus station at Schaan. Per head of population Liechtenstein must be one of the most wealthy countries in the world. Yet they happily travel by the humble bus! (There are only a handful of trains in Liechtenstein, run by Austrian Railways.)

Thanks for the ride along. I was hoping that you would go through the Luzisteig Pass, but that was not to be. I rode north along that route in 2016 and was amazed that the road went through a military fortification.

Видео буду смотреть до конца, на обычной скорости. Дело в том, что с помощью режима "просмотр улиц" на Гугл Картах я могу "кататься вслед за вами и "вертеть головой по сторонам" там, где мне будет особенно интересно. А если повезёт, то могу и "полетать" , используя панорамы снятые с высоты.
