      There are other guys renovating a french chateau. Always let people believe they do that for their own living dream and now it's finished they sell it. I wonder when all the patreons realize that they throw their money in a developer... Crazy Crazy.
      I would never believe that our two cuties here sell it, but if they would, I would lose my believe in mankind. 🥴😁

    • @JodytheBrien
      @JodytheBrien ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@JayTH-cam1 I wouldn’t mind, they are renovating it to a very good standard. There aren’t a lot of people with skill and taste who will put all the effort, time and money needed to do this. It’s almost like crowd sourcing restoration. But a château for this size and age will never be ´done’ and they may want to move on one day if it becomes to much. Not that I wouldn’t be horribly sad if that were to happen.

    I had a wonderful mother-in-law also. She was incredible and our children adored her. We lost her to breast cancer. She was ready to pass over as after five years of surgeries, chemo, and radiation, the doctors could do nothing else for her and even with pain meds she was suffering so. We all told her it was fine for her to rest now and said our good-byes but we, I, miss her so much. I’m so thankful for all the years I had with her love enveloping me. This was a really nice video.

    I am so sorry for Benoit's accident. I grew up in a family of carpenters 5 brothers and my dad. Once when I was 2.5 yrs old I got my fingers too close to the blade of a table saw and lost quite a piece from the top of my wedding ring finger. My brothers and father have had some accidents over the years. I wish Benoit a swift recovery. I loved the trip with you and the girls. They are growing up so fast. I am full of joy that you're not selling your home. I love phillips sense of humor he is so dry. I think you are a wonderful mom. Hello and love to the family from Nova Scotia , Canada. I was carted around the South of France a lot as a kid, you seem to have visited a lot of the same places my parents took me to. Hopefully your girls will remember more of your trips than I did of mine.

    Here in the USA the top award for film excellence is the Academy Award statue. I have watched, followed, and glanced at several "chateau" shows and I believe your posts are the very best. I enjoy the decor and work on projects, however the humor, authenticity, and adorable children sets your apart in a category far above any other. Thank you.

    Such a beautiful tribute to your mother-in -law and a birthday cake. By honoring our family we are showing or children the way (of course unless there is a real reason not to). Enjoyed the beautiful travels. So glad you could get away a few days.

    I love Arles, I used to live in Nimes for a while. A close friend just bought a house in the centre of Arles and keeps inviting me so maybe I will go after the summer. Lovely !

    Really enjoyed visiting there 13 years ago at this exact time of year! Sad, it was our last trip to Europe as my husband suffered a stroke on April 30th, 2010. We loved seeing it

    To paraphrase Anna, this video is magical. It brought back so many memories. Having lunch in the courtyard in Avignon, walking across the Pont du Gard, sitting on the beach in NIce. Driving the wrong way in a bus lane trying to find the train station to turn the car back in.. In my superb/reprehensible French, we stopped and asked a road crew, "Ou est le gare?" In perfect English, one of the crew said, "It's just over there on your left." I love the French. Looking forward to another trip to France this fall.

    Reminded me of my honeymoon! 3 weeks going fom Monaco to Andorra!
    We had bull and rice in Sainte Marie, the Camargue, black bulls and white horses.
    Meeting a "nose" in Grasse, people watching in St Tropez, seeing the bullring and walking the walls in Arles, sketching the Pont du Guard. Fabulous time, love the south of France 😊
