The more and more the master bedroom was finished the more sad I felt because I felt like the videos may come to end. This video just shows us that you have years worth of content left to shoot, and we all look forward to it.
That second part to the attic would make a stunning library, reading room. Open beams, comfortable chairs low level warm lights, and just a few thousand books...
I can’t tell you how comforting this tour is! It makes me feel so much better about all the undone bits and bobs all over my own house, which I seem to be constantly renovating. Like you have literally reduced my anxiety level dramatically.
@@carlygrace2 Agreed! I was inspired by your kitchen to refresh my apartment kitchen, months ago, NOW I will finish!! Your home is a work of art and love, literally, both adding such finesse, along with your sidekicks and family. Make the list of major and minor projects to be done for each area as it helps to avoid overwhelming discouragement. ALSO, add a rewarding sailing trip as a near future goal. to refocus and refresh, RnR. You are amazing!
Wonderful video!!! How very realistic! My husband and I purchased and renovated our current home in 2019. We made it liveable, moved in and continued slowly with the odd bit and bob here and there. (Transitions, tiles, garage, driveway, landscaping etc.) The house is still not finished! 😅 Maybe before we put it on the real estate market to sell we will get it all done! Haha As life is now, we would much rather spend our money on travel than building material. ❤❤ love to you all!
Ha! Same! We moved house in March and STILL don't have a living room since our living room is essentially a storage room while we're sorting other things! Don't worry Anna, most homes have some sort of 'room of doom'! In our previous house it was a drawer of doom in the kitchen: a miscellaneous drawer that we just shoved anything into if it had no home! When we were moving, we found allsorts of rubbish in there 😂😂
YOUR HONESTY is refreshing. In the age of social media we always see the highlight reel, never the "real life" behind the scenes. Why anyone would complain about the pace of your removed/renovation is beyond me. It is not their money, time or business. You are doing an amazing job.
I appreciate the openness of showing us your home. Everyone has that dump room/space. There’s no such thing as perfection. Your home is beautiful. The craftsmanship is stunning. Can’t wait to see more of your projects!
Agreed. Don’t be hard on yourselves. We only have a 4 bedroom 1980s house but have done several major building projects and renovations in it over the years. Only now, 23 years after moving in, do we feel that we can clear our ‘spaces of doom’ (3 lofts for us and the garage) and feel that we don’t need to keep items ‘just in case’ and that we are happy, mostly, with our home 😂
No one should be embarrassed by being honest. You and your family are precious to all of us. Messy is a good thing because it means it is your home instead of a house. We love you for being you.
Don’t be so hard on yourselves! Any rich person can hire designers, workers and purchase furniture but most people, especially with young families, need time and money to have their homes evolve over time. I enjoy your sense of humour, your creativity and your decorative style in your chateau. To me, it’s the balance between the historical building, current needs and you personal creative style that comes through in your chateau. And I like it!
I'm so shocked there are those who complain about your renovations being slow. I've been utterly charmed from your first posting until now, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I absolutely love the work:life balance you embody, and especially love the care and time you take to make each decision the right one. This was a wonderful tour of the chateau, and so easy to see how very much work has gone into the renovations you've already done.
As I read your comment, I thought you wrote flies, but then I focused my eyes and I see you wrote tiles!😅. I thought you wrote that you like all the flies in the kitchen, I didn’t remember seeing or hearing any buzzing around!😅😅
I absolutely love your aesthetic - the rooms are so fresh and non-fussy. I think the attic space is wonderful. The high beamed ceiling is something I’ve dreamed of.
8:54 There's a samsung tv called "The Frame" which is exactly that! When it's turned off, it displays any artwork you like and you can customise it by putting frames around the tv to make it look like framed artwork.
Your taste Anna is gorgeous. I cannot decide what I like best…the boot room is so lovely with your wallpaper. Going white was absolutely the right decision. Showcases your paper beautifully. Kitchen is beautiful. And what I like so much about your style is you let the features of the house be front and center. Subtle wonderful walls not overdone by patterns. One of the most serene Chateaus…so enjoyable.
Anna and Philip, what you call messy and embarrassing others call normal. You guys are holding yourself to a higher standard. You have a lovely and beautiful home, and an even more lovely and beautiful family and that is all that really counts. In the years to come, when you look back, you will not remember that the girls room did not have curtains, or the attic was not sorted, but you WILL remember the fun adventures you had sailing or traveling to Italy.
You two should be so proud of what you’ve done. The completed rooms are completed to the top quality and are stunning. My husband and I were lucky enough to stay in your chateau before you “closed the Inn”. We loved it. I secretly hope you open the bed and breakfast sometime in the future.
Thank you for your honesty. In a world full of "instaperfect" updates and renos, it is refreshing to see someone brave enough to pull back the curtain and show the reality, and thus ground the viewer and prove we are not all that different.
It is home and lived in and beautiful! You have room for the girls to spread out in as they grow. It takes years of living in a home to make it work for you in how you need it, you have done very well and the things you would change (regret) are minor in the grand scheme of things and fairly easy to rectify. I Love your Chateau!
I'm so glad you all decided to buy that chateau because you and your team have made it so beautiful again it should be good for another 75+ years. Stunning and beautiful chateau.
ANNA AND PHILLIP: Start a working list (most accessible by you both). List by room and then list in each room by most important so you can work on one thing at a time, get it done and check it off, very rewarding … it helps I promise. You could put a reward by each job and carry through as an incentive for you both…
So many TH-cam channels come across as perfect and unrealistic! You have shown us how down to earth you are and how we all can relate to you. This makes your channel special ❤❤❤. Thanks!😊
It is incredible what you two have achieved in restoring this lovely chateau! On top of that, you have restored and maintained your beautiful gardens! Don't let anyone tell you that you are slow; they are just used to watching HGTV shows with crews that finish everything behind the scenes. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It is absolutely beautiful 🥰
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you sharing these aspects of 'the process'. I'm involved in my own work in progress and can sometimes get discouraged watching videos of people's "perfect" houses. Yours is perfect and REAL.
Following your channel, I always felt guilty of not yet finishing each of my home room to perfection, now guilt is shoulder off, thanks to show that your reality equals my own one😂
I have so enjoyed your Chanel and am frankly amazed at all you’ve accomplished not only the interiors of the house, but landscaping, and building of the front gates, while making episodes for TH-cam and raising your daughters. Please, no need to apologize for areas that haven’t been finished, or organized or reorganized. Life is a daily process of creating meals and dirty dishes, a dance of creativity and inspiration while making a mess to get the finished project. I’m so happy for the happy pleasures you’ve found, whether finding the right boat, color for a room, a design for a wallpaper or a tile or scent for a candle. Your joy, creativity and humor, has added greatly to my daily life and my love of humanity. Wishing you Infinite Blessings ❤
I honestly loved your candid look at how you use the space in your chateau. I believe that houses, like people, are a work in progress. For me, that's the natural state of practically everything.
Hi guys it’s Tracy from French Farm House Diaries l was chatting to Budo regarding your fridge cupboard door and there is a sliding track system you can get to virtually work with any door as long as the front of the fridge is in line with the pivoting point of the hinges on the door hope this helps ❤xx
We built our house from scratch and moved in when the external walls went up. It took 15 years to finally finish, you are doing fantastic. It’s the love and it’s your home. When you look back how great has the journey been. Cheers.
What I like about your chateau is that you keep each room matching. No contrasting patterns to assault the vision. Everything is calm and beautiful. You’re renovating and that’s okay. A work in progress.
You have young children and a dog and a lot of renovation work so nobody should expect your home to be showroom ready. When I was a school girl with three sisters, there was always stuff lying around. When somebody drove unexpectedly into the driveway, we jumped into action and threw everything behind the sofa to make our living room neat and tidy.
This tour was so real & honest. Your home is beautiful. It doesn't have to be all perfect. When you have so much love put into it that makes it 'perfect'. All the unfinished things will get done. Thank you for bringing us along. I look forward to all your videos.
Loved your home tour. Thank you for showing us the good, the not finished and your storage areas. All of our homes have areas just like yours. Don’t ever be embarrassed. You have worked so hard at restoring the chateau. It’s a life long adventure and it is all beautiful!
Go to a marble yard and ask for a close to size scrap piece, then give them coffee bar measurements and back and side splashes, and they'll cut it... sometimes when they cut out hole for sinks you can get that piece, I have...
Seeing your cozy living space demonstrates the difference between how we live and use rooms now compared to their original use. We don't really have use for such large reception rooms.
Thank you for this tour. You answered questions I have had about where you live actually and how the home is used. You are creating a charming warm family home. Bravo.
Anna and Phillip thank you for taking time to share you home with us. I watched from the beginning and you’ve both accomplished so very much and done a fabulous job to your home and garden all while raising two lovely daughters, enjoying life itself. You are as human as everyone with projects undone, not started etc and in time you’ll both tackle them too. Beautiful home and beautiful family. Love you all and Ziggy is the best family mascot. ❤❤❤❤❤
3:18 Hello Anna and Phillip! A piece of advice, if I may. In the coffee closet you don’t need marble, you can look for a product called POLIORATHANE for interiors. You can look it up right there in TH-cam. There are even tutorials on how to apply it because it has two components. Let me tell you, the durability is long, it gives a beautiful aspect to the wood and it is stain proof. Coffee spill? Don’t fret! Towel paper wipe and voilá!! You will not regret purchasing the product. I hope this, unasked for advise, is welcomed by you guys. Regards from Nicaragua 🇳🇮.
Phillip: “…or we could just close the door and forget about it…” 😂😂😂 Had me laughing out loud Phillip. Spoken like a true international waste-pipe influencer 😂 You have a wonderful channel and it’s a pleasure and a privilege to get peeks into your beautiful life. Congratulations to all of you!
This is your HOME... Not a show home. Enjoy your family life, make it as comfortable as you want it to be, anyone coming to stay with you would love to experience a beautiful chateau...
I was happy to see that you have plenty of “canvas” left for your renovation and decorating dreams and activities that we hope you will continue to film for us. You are young with a young family to enjoy and have a lot of time ahead of you to realize all your chateau dreams. Thank you for having the courage to present this honest look at what you have accomplished and what there is left to do. ❤
Stuck on a long boring shift, I literally found your channel and binged almost a dozen videos just this morning. Immediately thought "I really wish there was a full tour to connect all the dots" and boom, this afternoon you posted this.
So glad you have found each other. Love the way you are raising a family. Ahh. Zigs made the perfect co-presenter of this video. Woof. Bless you all five 👍🏼
Please remember all the joy you bring to the viewer every week ! Your Chateau is exquisite! Think of all the hard work and attention to detail you both have done on your home! My great grandfather was from Picardie and Iam so proud of my French heritage! The viewer can travel with you ! Thank you for the humor and laughter Phillip! Focus on all you have accomplished! Michelle😊
Thank you so much for your wonderful tour! Your chateau is absolutely beautiful, there is nothing to apologize for. The amount of work you & Phillip have done is so impressive. Love seeing your wall paper, kitchen tiles and mural! Your chateau feels like a loved, lived in family home. Anna, believe me, lots of people have a room of stuff stuffed in there. You and Philip have so much going on. It'll all get done when it gets done! Please don't worry. Your chateau, with all of the talent, skill and love of the craft, that has gone into it, is indeed a work of art.
We loved the tour. Completely REAL. It takes so long to accomplish such big goals like renovating. We've lived in our house 21 years and just couldn't do it when the kids were little. Finally doing it!
Yes but you’d like to walk through your house without tripping over a paint can. My husband and I spent years renovating our house and sadly he passed away before it got completed. So while you think we’ve got lots of time at some point you want to be able to enjoy it.
This is so wonderful. Anyone who thinks you are slow to move to completion obviously has not lived through a do it yourself Reno while raising a family and living real life. You are wonderful parents, super talented and very inspirational. Congrats on all you have done so far. Love to see the reality of it all. ❤
Oh my goodness, the attic space is absolutely beautiful. You’ve heard of a kitchen junk drawer, where every odd thing ends up, well the room where you toss miscellaneous things I call the catch-all room and yes I had one until I thought of a good use for the space and now it’s a beautiful room. Your chateau is big, needing huge renovations while raising two little girls, don’t be ashamed of unfinished things. Everything comes in due time! ❤
I always find getting easier jobs done first/quickly spurs me on to doing the next. Maybe for each room have a snag list pinned to the back of the door. You can tackle the whole room til the project is done, and then move on to the next. Or wittle down the list in each room as you have the energy for it.
While you we’re focussing on the undone details, I was constantly reminded how much beauty you added and how spoiled we are to be invited 💖We love you, we do not judge you.
Your home is beautiful and so, so full of potential for living space. It seems as though you both need to rethink how you use the home in light of the change over from being a guest house to becoming a family home. Take the time to sort out the chaos and mess of the dump rooms and attic rooms. It's all in the way of the better vision you can create for living in the full potential of your home.
Who would have the audacity to say you are slow.! I live in a house of 700 sq feet. Full basement of 700 sq feet as well. As of now I am renovating my kitchen. I’ve lived here 32 yrs, my house is close to 75 yrs old. The cabinets I removed are original. I pay cash as I can afford to work toward done. My word there is so much for one person to do. The chateau is huge. Renovating takes time and money. Then there is raising to little girls and living life to do. You all do you and your pace. I am happy just to watch the progress. Hugs to you all.
I’ve read many of the comments from the dozens of the videos and NEVER EVER saw ANY comments complaining about slowness… just eagerness to see the next part of an ongoing project.
Anna & Phillip, I would suggest doing some of the small jobs like the trim work, shelves in closets and painting rooms that you don't like the colors & fix the tears on the little couch . I would do these little jobs first that don't cost a lot then tackle the bigger jobs one at a time after all the little ones are taken care of. Make yourself a list of all the jobs to tackle and scratch off as you complete. Good luck, Kathy USA 🇺🇸
I admire you Anna and Philipp for all of your hard work thus far. I guess my favorite "almost" finished room is your kitchen... devine! My favorite unfinished space has to be the last room you showed us in the attic with the tall vaulted ceiling and generous wood beams. 🎉😊
For the coffee bar, a roll of clear plastic shelf liner would do the trick. Thank you for your openness. We are currently renovating an old Spanish Revival in California. Nothing remotely close to the grand scale of your beautiful chateau, but even our small home feels, at times, overwhelming. You two are such an inspiration.
No time to sit and relax - eek. You sound like my countrymen here in the US. We are always criticised for not knowing how to relax. You’ve done amazing work - especially considering you are also parents. Take time. There is always time…until there isn’t. Beautiful home.
Stay Calm and Carry On: It takes time to build good, strong bones and THAT’S what I see when I look at your spaces. Filling rooms with furniture and decor can be done quickly but shoring up the rooms with lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing, floors, tiles, molding, windows, paint, hardware, etc., all takes years to do properly and it’s extremely expensive, so ALL OF US who’ve been watching and those who’ve recently joined, absolutely understand this! Half of us are probably in the middle of doing it in our own homes too - I for one, am and I watch you guys for inspiration along the way (and have been since your first video). I love your style. It’s rather like mine, thus I prefer your Chateau over most others on TH-cam!! So, don’t apologize, we’re all here because we enjoy your content…..Carry On!!!
Thanks for opening your home to your viewers. It helps to see the rooms in context. I think that EVERYONE has a space like your “room of doom” unless they have no projects, hobbies, or children and have a staff to keep everything organized. You have so much going and have accomplished so much! ❤ your style and simplicity.
Hey, don't be discouraged by your "messes". You are doing an amazing job and your weekly videos fill me with delight. You are on your way - and a whole lot further along than you might be feeling. Well done. The way you work together so beautifully is to your great credit.
Never feel you cannot show the unfinished messy rooms in the chateau. It means you are normal and humble to share your reality with others. We all have that messy room. Storage is a problem for us all.😊❤
This just shows that you are human with only so much time and energy to complete tasks while actually living and working in your home. It is good to see the reality.
I didn't realise you had so much still to do! Create a spreadsheet so you can tick items off as they get completed so you don't feel so overwhelmed. I would insulate the attic so it can be used all year and not just for storage! Set deadlines and hold esch other accountable so tasks get completed! All a bit overwhelming but you can do it - look how far the chateau has been transformed.
Hello everyone. So there is a sliding system for the fridge in Germany that deals with exactly this issue. This system looks like a rail and a kind of hook clings to this rail. I don't know what it's called, but I'm sure you can find it here or on the internet. Maybe you could look for it. Good video. What you have done is really amazing!
Oh my goodness your home is gorgeous! Glad you are actually real people with junk rooms 😅. Move down to the first floor! You’ve worked so hard for it. The light in your home is mesmerizing 😊. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my, please do a list of what is missing, and that would be something to do in your beautiful space. I love your style it is so clean and simple. Please do renovation the attic, and make a room for all your Things for storage.
It is only after my children moved out and rooms became ‘fixed’ in their use that I no longer had a ‘dumping room’. It moved round the house which was not anything like as big as yours! Rooms that have no fixed use invite ‘dumping’. You are not alone. Thank you for your lovely tour.
I absolutely loved this tour. If you have any naysayers telling you you're taking too long or doing something wrong. Ignore them. Coming from somebody who's renovated a very small not so old Lake house..... you are doing an amazing job. Yes there's always going to be bits and pieces that need to be finished or updated. Just put them on a list. Get to it when you can. You've done an amazing job. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Omg Anna and Phillip, give yourselves a break! You both have been working night and day to get your chateau livable for your family. Your home is beautiful the way it is. The other details will come gradually. Go out and have fun while you both are young and healthy. ❤
It was very refreshing seeing the honesty when showing your home. A home is meant to be lived in and it's a never ending chore when you have children and pets. You've done a beautiful job and it just takes a lot of time ,energy and Money. But you will finish someday in the future but you will never be done. There's always something that needs fixed or you will change how the house looks .. You will have a beautiful home some day that you will make many wonderful memories of your lives and as your children grow up. I can picture both of you in the future having your grandchildren running about the house with you enjoying them . I really don't believe you need to apologize for the way your home looks, anyone who's raised children more then understand and this is coming from an old man of 72 years young who raised 6 beautiful girls who have given us 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who are the love of our lives. Grandchildren and now great grandchildren are the rewards for all the years of sacrifice to be able to raise 6 wonderful daughters. God bless and just love each other unconditionally and always fight fair when you disagree and you will be able to grow old togeather and married life is so much easier once you reach a certain age .
Enjoyed every room. It's a beautiful, beautiful home. Love every space. The attic rooms will be so great to enjoy. The walls and wood structures are amazing. Thank you for this lovely tour.
I’ve been following you for a couple years now and enjoy you all so much, from you both, your humour, and your honest marriage, your beautiful daughters, Ziggy and even your lovely parents. I think you have done so well, it’s a lot of work and you’ve done so much already! We all have rooms and spaces where we dump the stuff we don’t know what to do with or don’t want to look at lol! Love what you’re doing and can’t wait until the master bedroom is completed!
I live in Brazil and here this is a problem too. I think these days people are so use to fake everything, pretending to be perfect and etc. They don’t get that beauty is in simplicity and being honest.
The more and more the master bedroom was finished the more sad I felt because I felt like the videos may come to end. This video just shows us that you have years worth of content left to shoot, and we all look forward to it.
lol I love the way you think!
The same here. But perhaps there will be a new series when all the renovations are complete: "The Life in the Chateau". :)
That second part to the attic would make a stunning library, reading room. Open beams, comfortable chairs low level warm lights, and just a few thousand books...

What I love about your Chateau is that is is very light and bright. All of the rooms seem to have great natural light with plenty of windows.

I wanted to comment but you already said everything.
Oh, my word! Who thinks you’re slow? You’ve done so much work in the chateau AND are raising two beautiful girls.
Yes agreed, if they worked any faster they wouldn’t have any home life.

The people complaining that you are slow in renovating are sitting and watching!!!😂😂😂😂 Idiotic!
The range with the tiles in the kitchen is a dream. It is so fitting for the chateau.
She hand painted those tiles.
I love them too
As I read your comment, I thought you wrote flies, but then I focused my eyes and I see you wrote tiles!😅. I thought you wrote that you like all the flies in the kitchen, I didn’t remember seeing or hearing any buzzing around!😅😅
Thanks for not being fake. The magic is your family, your friends, and the moments you create.

You should insulate your attic then transforming the space into any used. It will be totally magical.
I’d want all the rafters and beams showing… that’s part of its magic.
That high ceiling is spectacular ✨
You’ll never run out of content with this house

Hi guys it’s Tracy from French Farm House Diaries l was chatting to Budo regarding your fridge cupboard door and there is a sliding track system you can get to virtually work with any door as long as the front of the fridge is in line with the pivoting point of the hinges on the door hope this helps ❤xx
Let’s get these guys to 500K subscribers!
We built our house from scratch and moved in when the external walls went up. It took 15 years to finally finish, you are doing fantastic. It’s the love and it’s your home. When you look back how great has the journey been. Cheers.
I absolutely love, love your minimalist style. It's so relaxing and calm compared to other chateaux that are too cluttered and chaotic. Don't change!
Thanks for the great tour. No apologies please. Aren’t we all in process in our lives all the time?
What I like about your chateau is that you keep each room matching. No contrasting patterns to assault the vision. Everything is calm and beautiful. You’re renovating and that’s okay. A work in progress.
You have young children and a dog and a lot of renovation work so nobody should expect your home to be showroom ready.
When I was a school girl with three sisters, there was always stuff lying around. When somebody drove unexpectedly into the driveway, we jumped into action and threw everything behind the sofa to make our living room neat and tidy.
I love your calming colors and your wallpaper designs.
This tour was so real & honest. Your home is beautiful. It doesn't have to be all perfect. When you have so much love put into it that makes it 'perfect'. All the unfinished things will get done. Thank you for bringing us along. I look forward to all your videos.
You have both accomplished so so much. Chateau is beautiful
❤❤❤
That breakfast salon would be amazing filled with lots of plants and cozy chairs as a reading room. I can see drinking coffee or tea in there ❤
3:18 Hello Anna and Phillip!
Regards from Nicaragua 🇳🇮.
for under the coffee machine...go to the landscape shop and buy a marble, granite, travertine paver...cut to size and you're done
I find marble stains wickedly. Try a piece of granite? We use quartz
Phillip: “…or we could just close the door and forget about it…” 😂😂😂 Had me laughing out loud Phillip. Spoken like a true international waste-pipe influencer 😂
You have a wonderful channel and it’s a pleasure and a privilege to get peeks into your beautiful life.
The kitchen is glorious!
You have actually done so so much. You see it everyday so you may not realise how your space has changed. Amazing spaces, all of them.
Stuck on a long boring shift, I literally found your channel and binged almost a dozen videos just this morning. Immediately thought "I really wish there was a full tour to connect all the dots" and boom, this afternoon you posted this.
What I love about you guys is your realness, no pretense…… and your home is a HOME….WE CAN ALL RELATE….REAL LIFE😊
So glad you have found each other.
You are getting there, bit by bit. After all, you have a life time to complete this renovation !❤
By taking your time has indeed resulted in beautiful decorated rooms. Keep on taking your time as I would miss watching your DIY channel
That attic is incredible. Would be a lovely library space, a bar, and a games table. An incredible space
I always find getting easier jobs done first/quickly spurs me on to doing the next. Maybe for each room have a snag list pinned to the back of the door. You can tackle the whole room til the project is done, and then move on to the next. Or wittle down the list in each room as you have the energy for it.
While you we’re focussing on the undone details, I was constantly reminded how much beauty you added and how spoiled we are to be invited 💖We love you, we do not judge you.
exactly!
There is a sliding mechanism for the fridge door that you can attach it. Ask your fridge Company for it
Anna & Phillip, I would suggest doing some of the small jobs like the trim work, shelves in closets and painting rooms that you don't like the colors & fix the tears on the little couch . I would do these little jobs first that don't cost a lot then tackle the bigger jobs one at a time after all the little ones are taken care of. Make yourself a list of all the jobs to tackle and scratch off as you complete. Good luck, Kathy USA 🇺🇸
An idea 💡 - maybe a lighting company would help furnish your new lighting fixtures for the home for you, showing what you picked out for promo use?
Anna's wallpaper is undoubtedly the star of the show. She's a creative genius.
If I was a pre-teen, I would love a bedroom in the attic! All the beams and the roof shape could be an incredible hide-a-way!
I admire you Anna and Philipp for all of your hard work thus far. I guess my favorite "almost" finished room is your kitchen... devine! My favorite unfinished space has to be the last room you showed us in the attic with the tall vaulted ceiling and generous wood beams. 🎉😊
You guys have done an amazing job!
❤ your style and simplicity.
lolol yes
Please do renovation the attic, and make a room for all your
Things for storage.
I love you telling us about all the things that are not quite done as it makes me feel better about all the not quite complete things here.lol
It is only after my children moved out and rooms became ‘fixed’ in their use that I no longer had a ‘dumping room’. It moved round the house which was not anything like as big as yours! Rooms that have no fixed use invite ‘dumping’. You are not alone. Thank you for your lovely tour.
That attic is gorgeous I cannot wait to see what you do with that space further down the line. It’s absolutely magical
There's always a room of doom. Just like a junk drawer. It's a must!!! Love the old breakfast room.
Your chateau is beautiful ❤ - to those who said you were to slow 😑 “Patience is a virtue 💕”
What a beautiful home! And yes, I think most people have a drop room or area in their home or apartment. Thanks for the tour.
Ich würde eine Glasscheibe unter die Kaffeemaschinen legen….das würde kaum auffallen und die Holzplatte schonen.
LG, Holger
The attic space is stunningly beautiful. I am with Philip, insulate the roof up there and use that space.
I can only imagine using the dining room for small social get togethers / ballroom evenings every few weeks. It would be so magical ✨
I thought something similar… dancing for sure, modern dance and ballet classes for children, also meditation, yoga, tai chi etc groups!
Omg Anna and Phillip, give yourselves a break! You both have been working night and day to get your chateau livable for your family. Your home is beautiful the way it is. The other details will come gradually. Go out and have fun while you both are young and healthy. ❤
I enjoy your films so much Anna's immuculate taste Phillips humour such compulsive viewing
I like honest. We don’t get much of that these days in US.
I live in Brazil and here this is a problem too. I think these days people are so use to fake everything, pretending to be perfect and etc. They don’t get that beauty is in simplicity and being honest.
@@alineamorim5212 so true!
