Thanks for that video, Just bought one myself and just finished putting my bits and bobs on. Unfortunately we are under about 6 inches of snow right now so not been out on it. They have put another 10% discount on the bike you can now pick it up for an unbelievable £1799 now from the 2023 model.
Only thing i notice on mine is that unless you actually turn the battery off i get about 8% drain on the battery overnight. I have googled this and it seems to be because the bike does not go into a deep sleep until 8 hours have passed. I will look at this in more detail later. looking forward to some more videos.

TBHI haven't noticed a problem. I take my battery and drive pack off the bike at the end of the ride and take it inside to charge up for the next ride. I then keep it indoors untill the next ride.
I've always done this with my Bosch emtb battery and after 3 years its still as good as new.

I have looked at it in more detail and hooked it up to the PC while it was in standby and it draws about 90 mA and it take 8 hours to shut down. It’s no big deal but just something to keep in mind if you’re away on multi day trips without the facility to charge as you lose about 7-8% of the battery. I tend to go on multi day tours and camp so I just need to remember to turn the battery off manually. I do the same when at home with regards to charging, will let you know how it goes if this ice ever goes away.

I've had this bike in my basket all week for £1999, then yesterday afternoon it dropped to 1799, so I've ordered it, hopefully I'll get my cycling mojo back

@@russlunn8746 Yes I seen that, that’s a fantastic buy. I really like the bike and I am lucky to own 4 system so can compare them (switch kit , shimano e7000, Mahle system and FAZUA.
The big plus for me is how light the FAZUA system is, I bought the blank motor/battery part and that allows me to use a roof rack as it’s so light. The power assist is reasonable but in line with its intended use, someone who is reasonably fit needing help.
It’s not perfect and as polished as shimano/Mahle but currently it’s the first bike I grab for forest roads etc. Let us know how you get on,

Hi, have ordered this one for longer commuting. Have a 42km distance. Just wondering what average speed could man achieve on asfalt?
Some years back i had Cube mtb electric with weight 23kg, think my best average speed was around 27 km/h. Hope this bike does better due to aero and weight

Depends very much on a whole lot of things.
How fit you are, how hard you ride, the road surface, the traffic, the amount of assistance you use, if there's a headwind or tailwind, the list is endless.
All I can say is that on a comparable ride on 50/50 tarmac lanes and off road, I find it a bit quicker than my Cube stereo hybrid 140hpc emtb, but that is virtually twice the weight.
But either way it's a nice bike to ride and very nimble.

@@NTLife of course, it all depends 😊 thank you for your answer. I will test the bike out and present the results here if you are interested
      Cheers

Hi again. Got the bike and tested it. Very windy conditions and on studded tires 2.1 averaged amazing 28.5 km/h. But this is zone 2 puls, I pushed on flats and downhills. Max speed around 58km/h. Nice surface and no stops. Very satisfied. Will see what this beast does in summer 😮😅😊

Great video, how did you find the sizing?

    • @NTLife
      @NTLife  ปีที่แล้ว

Pleasantly surprised tbh. I ride a medium mtb so thought the Large might be a bit big, but itvwas pretty much spot on and the size chart recommends a large for my height

    • @NTLife

Absolutly, I have no regrets in buying it. Still thoroughly enjoying it and to date no issues.

Thanks for that , so I used to be able to bosh out 60 miles quite regularly on the MTB/road and gravel bikes but I'm a bit heavier and my enthusiasm has lessened, I'm hoping the assistance of electricity will get me back out and motivated

It's not an advert, just my opinions on my bike, that I paid for.
