Yeah, I need this for my Speech class and all that. I love this special feature from the Samurai Jack DVD, and I figure maybe someone else might like it too?

Cartoon Network needs more people like Genndy. They need more creators who have passion for what they do. J G Quintel was the only one who breathed some life into that channel with Regular Show. Every other show right now looks exactly the same

aside from giving the ok on what's good and what's not, Does Genndy get to draw, animate or do storyboards. as a creator what's his job??

Pretty much be the main creator, oversee every step of development, and do whatever he wants in any place to help out.

So yeah, he basically oversees the whole project

he’s involved in everything! He directs all the subdivisions, he collaborates w his team but he is the leading voice and vision for what’s going to get done. Genndy is the reason the show follows this storyboard first style. Genndy storyboards, writes, directs, colors, supervises, he has a hand in everything. It’s a lot for one person, hence why there small teams dedicated to certain aspects of the full picture- and Genndy’s style means that instead of each section being self involved, everyone works together, so the vision is more easily collaborated on.
