I miss the official updates but I feel like the Curated Updates are just as good, most of them way above what Nelson ever did officially in my opinion. I think Unturned II was Nelson's greatest mistake, he promised something too ambitious that drove most of the popular content creators away because"I'm waiting for 4.0/II". The game is pretty dead for the most part and I don't think anything can be done to reverse that, good things never last forever. It's nice to see that people are still passionate about this game but generally speaking Nelson Sexton has no incentive to make his own updates or really change how he's been operating for the last few years. He's still living very comfortably from the Mystery Box revenue alone. I was in your position a few years back, my advice to you is to not waste your time. If you like Unturned then play it, if you think it's a sinking ship then just move on. God Speed Bro.

Quite sad to see the game I wasted over 500 hours of my life on becoming unplayable because of all updates overloading unity engine, causing even more memory leaks for an engine that already was filled with them.

I’m basically silenced to talk very openly about the current decisions Nelson has done to unturned nowadays, nowadays, I believe unturned is still both fun and still has potential, even escalation proves unturned can still do things no one believes, it even prove me wrong at times, but having unturned involve in real-world events is what i believe was the “final nail on the coffin” I still can’t understand why does Nelson did all of those till this day
it is very disheartening to see that even in the space of one-man passion projects that game companies apparently have no interest in improving the functionality of their games even when effort is still put into adding new content how can they so easily neglect the basic necessity of people actually being able to play the game?
yupp. On one hand I understand the difficulty and complexity of the situation. This is a game suffering from lack of interest in changing it when it desperately needs a new formula switch up. But it's also a game in a genre that was once oversaturated and now is just whatever. But it's also being botted, maybe not as bad as a game like TF2 but it's still an issue. that wouldn't be a bad idea especially if he's not passionate anymore but then we could end up with a minecraft issue where whoever is in charge doesnt know what it is or was and so they lose the identity in the process
I saw that, pretty sure that was a while ago though. I think the combination of that and the fact he's lost his passion for it + the fact that survival games were an oversaturated genre back then but are on the decline now definitely does not help.

I have 3k hours on thios game and i feel sad to see the game die and i won't stop loving it. I hope the game will have a comeback
