Always wanted to swap my stock one with a sports filter but I didn't wanna damage anything. Thank you man, for showing the whole progress, your tips and also for putting the reassembly-part into it Greetings from Germany
Hey thanks for the help, this worked perfectly on my 2021 z650. I bought a kn filter for it, but it doesn't fit quite right! All that work just to change nothing....lol
Glad to see someone with the same color bike I got I always see the black and green models. Check out the h2 style rear seat cowl it comes in the gray and looks great on these bikes
Here is a link for Amazon, but I believe you can find it on Kawasaki website. I’ve seen cheaper replicas of it but going with genuine Kawasaki you can’t go wrong the paint matches and quality of the part is spot on.
This may seem like a silly question, but did you need to drain the tank before doing this or is there something in the lower connector that prevents the gas from escaping when you disconnect the bottom?
O didn't need to drain the tank .In order to avoid gas from spilling out ,u have to 1st open the tank cupto release pressure before disconnecting the horse from the tank bur remember u will have some drops coming from the horse so make sure u have a towel with you to use . As u can see in the video,I didn't do it but if u don't feel comfortable doing the job with gas in the tank,u can drain it before disconnecting. Hope that helps and good luck.
Bonjour j’ai débranché l’arrivée d’essence mais pas au niveau du réservoir, au niveau du moteur. Au démarrage elle ne tient pas, elle s’enlève. Auriez vous une idée du problème ? Merci

Hey is this applicable even for the ninja 650 2018 model ??
Same concept
how many miles on that filter
7000 miles.
it was a lot easier on my 2005 sv650! But still doable
Why the gas didnt leak?
Because I opened the tank before I unplugged the horse to release the pressure.
all that to replace an air filter? wtf. i getting ready to do mine
I know right. Too much work just to get to the air filter. I swear scooters are easier
Perfecto!!! Thanks )
