    Quick question.. Do you free motion your own quilts on your home machine? If so, can you do a tutorial on it? Thank you 😊

    • @MaterialGirlQuilts
      @MaterialGirlQuilts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shell, I mostly do straight line quilting and very little free motion quilting. I do know there are a lot of other quilters who do though and I'm sure you can find tutorials. Good luck!

    How much backing fabric is needed? Beautiful quilt!!

    • @MaterialGirlQuilts
      @MaterialGirlQuilts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are making the baby size quilt, you would need 1 1/4 yard for backing.

    So for the throw size quilt it will need 2 background charm packs and 2 printed charm packs?

    • @MaterialGirlQuilts
      @MaterialGirlQuilts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Natalie, sorry for the confusion, you will need 4 of the printed charm packs and 4 of the background (or 3 yards of background that you cut into 5" squares). Hope this helps!
