Daryl Hall never gets old.
RIP Ray and T-Bone. What a killer version this was.
This had to around 10 years ago?
@@philipcramer940 2009, T-Bone died less than a year after it aired.
Wow fantastic! Love Daryl’s scream !
Holy shit!!! I'm sitting here smiling, take me back !! And everyone looks so happy!! How can you not love this?
Great song with two of the legendary Doors, Ray Manzarek (keyboards) and Robby Krieger (guitar). Talented Daryl Hall and Tom T-Bone Wolk help a lot to get back to the original sound of the Jim Morrison days, but step on the shoes of the Lizard King is not easy.
55 years later still a great song. All the emotions and feelings of the 60's come back again when hearing it.
Wow, you can really feel Jim's spirit dancing and singing among you..!!!!! Tremendous climax song...
This is great. It reminds me of the good old days of band rehearsals and the fun we had. I wish John Densmore could have been there.
It doesn't get any better than this
Daryl is a great singer, but this really makes me appreciate even more how great Jim Morrison was ! Morrison had such a rich quality to his voice that I've never seen imitated well since.
Wow! Ray Manzarek is still cooking and Robbie Krieger and daryl does an amazing Jim Morrison impersonation but keeps it his own I saw The Doors in Toronto when they first brought out Light My Fire I was backstage and hung out at their hotel Ive got photos. Got to see them perform live about 5 times. Excellent. keep up the good work
Well, let's bear in mind this was shot in 2009 and Ray died 10 years ago.
(I'm not suggesting you didn't know it, it's for the benefit of anyone else who might be reading the comments.)
The Doors in Philly, my first concert
This is what I love is hearing you sing songs that I haven’t heard you sing before. Daryl has this ability to bring his multi faceted talent out and thank you for sharing! ❤
Got to love ❤️ Mr Hall
I don't go to concerts anymore but if this group of musicians had done a tour , I'd have paid the big tickets price to be there.
Krieger and Manzarek legendary equals they are phenomenal musicians and amongst the greatest of all time.
How great is this to see Ray M. clap at the spot on ending.
I always liked the doors robby was awesome on guitar n ray was awesome on organ or keyboard
That was fun
Ray was such a groovy dude.
So nice to see this.
Kenny's the only dude that makes a samba sound rock and roll.
Ray Manzarek... an absolute genius on the keyboards!
Robby & Ray look like they were having a great time . Everyone did . Awesome video .
stunning rendition
Fabulous series .
Wow!!!!!
Not too shabby…….i miss the king…..
The doors well respected always.
Man sure miss Ray and of course the Doors amazing band
Amazing as the channel. Killer version 🙏🙏
Daryl sings this just about as good as anyone
You got that right. That was killer.
This was a nice find..fun take
Being professional or taking things to the next level...that is the question!! Fripp doesn't cease on amazing me!!
Brings back fond memories…Well, maybe “ fond” isn’t quite the right word!😺🐶🍁🍃🍂😺Happy Holidays!🌾🍁🍃🍂🌲🎁
Awesome
Man you are sorely missed Ray
Killer!!
That was pretty nuts, man!
Excellent!!
Ray Manzarek, in the house.
Wow! Smokin!
Superb !

Man, that was fun! Awesome!
All Out Yes !

#ACaptivatingClassicCollaboration ...
#BravoBravo ~ you guys look like you had so much fun to doing that as well.
Cook 🔥
Bout time you had someone good
up in that hovel/studio....Luv ya Darrell and band...Doors too.
This is great , but where is Light My Fire ?
Why has this taken so long to post ?
Daryl HallのVocalには、ただ単に上手いのとは違う微妙な味があるよね。Manzarek とのアドリブの掛け合いが、めっちゃいいわ。
😮‼️ 👍👍
The music gods really threw up on that one. What a wild combination of different perspectives there all jamming to a song.
Smokin
Where was this filmed?
The dad band doors
Doesn't say when it was Originally Recorded!😳
Daryls voice is higher than Jims was but still sound good.
He needed it to sing with a deeper tone.
Morrrison was a genius and missed ................all the good ones went to soon
Ray Manzarek died 10 years ago, when was this recorded??
Over 10 years ago. 😂✌️
I think it was around 2010 when I saw this originally.
didn't know Jim cantore played drums
ummmm why are you not dating this performance in the title?
Kenny nailed it.
LOL! Not even close. Missing all the tom fills on the samba beat John played, just among other things. Too stiff also.
@@hippydippyI like Kenny’s work but I have to agree with you here. Then again I, not sure he intended on mimicking it accordingly.
Why no Densmore ?
Disagreements and legal battle over commercial usage of bands music.
Densmore contacted Manzarek before Ray died and made peace. Densmore told the story on Jimmy Fallon's Late Show and a short time later Ray died.
Ray Manzarek passed away on May 13, 2013 in a hospital in Germany. He died from bile duct cancer. RIP Ray.
robby didnt get much camera time
Sorry Daryl . Don’t sound right without Jim.
no offense - but its kindof ridiculous for these guys to call themselves the doors - i mean i guess that keyboard playing is distinctive....but still....
Dude, those two wrote every piece of music for all 6 Doors records. They even wrote some of the lyrics. Morrison was legendary but couldn't have done anything without those cats.
Can't come close to Morrison... but this was pretty good......
Enough w/the get HIGH!!
NOT COOL!!👎
