- Hi there! That is the last video of my Indonesian flying experience. Here I filmed the full flight of superb ATR72-600. That is the great airplane and Garuda-Indonesia is the Great Airline! Sometimes I miss ATR72 but I just love my B737 that I fly now. I like the way I was filming the Real Pilot EYE POV GoPro style videos, that gives person's eye perspective. That is the best cockpit type videos I think. Thank you for watching me here together we can expand the aviation community.

As an Indonesian I have tried all Garuda Indonesia planes in flight as a passenger. My activities are very busy and require moving islands and cities in Indonesia almost every day. I was very impressed and enjoyed my flight times with the ATR72-600 rather than the 777-300ER, unfortunately so far I have only tried it twice and even then because there was a chance I traveled from Denpasar Bali to Tambolaka, Sumba Island and at that time was served by ATR72-600. Thank you Mr. Pilot has showing what happen in the ATR72-600 cockpit during in ground and even when it already airborne 😊

Absolutely, it was pretty miss Kalstar. I haven't flown with Kalstar before ceased. Btw, that airport at my hometown! (i think from KTG - PNK with recorded on 2017)

The best transportation from Pontianak to Ketapang Although in the same island because density of borneo jungle and both city locate in Kapuas River Delta wich swamp area, in the fast peoople use to with wooden boat with almost 2 day and speed boat it almost 6 hours trough cost of west borneo, but when weather gone bad the boat must canceling the trip or take turn around kapuas river wich almost 12 hours, thanks god right now already had road but majority of still gravel road and must around the moantain terrain to avoid the swamp area, If use aircraft it just need 30 minute

You can start. You still need around 2 years for all the training to be done so the situation will change for sure.

I forgot to mention I am a caa licenced aircraft engineer type rated on the atr although I haven't worked an atr for 7 years
I also have a light aircraft pilot licence , my hobby is flight simulation

Great to hear from you yeah its a small world aviation.
I hadfinished building an all touch screen atr sim in the garden shed,using a real atr throttle quadrant and control columb/yoke with rudder pedals.
Now I've moved on to the atr in vr,still using all the controls but they're all interfaced into the computer using vr ,its totally fantastic ,have you seen any of my clips?

Yeah B737 is different. ATR is more simple and slower. Also the type of flights is differnt. I haven't been flying to busy London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt airports on ATR, now I do)))

Turboprop is powerful is it due to the small cabin and low height (It achieve speed quickly)

@@FirstnameLastname77777 As far as I understood B737 and A320 are best for pilot profession. You have much less chance to lose your job compared to long haul airplanes type rated pilots, so probably I have what I want.

@@FirstnameLastname77777 Well because it is the most popular aircraft and demanded by many of airlines. Chances to find the job are much better. Maybe I would like to fly some cargo 747 like Captain Joe or Kelsey from 74Gear. But I like my current airline.

Probably not. I am still confused about the airline policy here. But anyway I am filling similar videos and when I have a green light, I will upload everything. So I already have some B737 videos on my laptop. I uploaded the B737 night landing just to check it out if I would have some problems 😅. For now I don't have any. But anyway I would not risk uploading cockpit videos during current crisis. If I lose my job it would be impossible to get a new one nowadays... So I am filming that type of videos and waiting for upload permission...

Can you maybe do a video on the ATR 72 on the flight simulator. It is a very interesting plane, but there aren't much info about it on the internet. I am not very familiar with prepar3d but I think there is an atr 72 add on plane.

It can stop at 600m. but need 1100m for take off Usually.

Hello just a question. How do you calculate your descent profile? Do you just calculate using “ALT to lose x 3 = TOD”?
Hello Nico. Every modern airplane is usually equiped with vertical navigation. In 90% of cases you can trust it. Alt to Heaight ratio #3 I use just for reference. There is more precise calculation method, if you want I can make the "Descent calculation video" where I will show you everything on B737 simulator...

Necesito si alguien puede ayudarme. Quiero empezar a volar en los ATR-42/72-600, pero tengo el problema de que el freno de estacionamiento no se desactiva, por lo que no puedo iniciar el taxeo. Los mandos funcionan, tanto directamente en el simulador como Honeycomb, pero sin embargo ni se desactiva el freno de estacionamiento ni se apaga la luz roja de freno de estacionamiento en el honeycomb bravo throttle tampoco se apaga.
