I'm only 23 now but thanks to you, I feel like I've gained a lot of knowledge necessary to make a good decision when it comes to buying a home in the future. Little stuff like the comment you made about the glass in the shower and the water softener is something I've never thought about but made a lot of sense to me and has me wondering why I never thought of something like that. Same here Chakits! I look at the kitchen layout and if it's not a dealbreaker, I keep lookin'! The niches, built-ins and wall space for books are a big plus for me. OMG, a pool table upstairs to boot!
I'm beginning to warm up to some of America West designs. This layout is very decent. What's good about the bottom floor, the designers separated the guest entertainment areas (living and dining) from the private family areas (the great room). Again a window for the sink that looks out to a wall. Probably put in a fountain or art feature. Good use of space for the pantry under the stairway. How did the build quality feel? Excellent storage space. And, yes sliders for the downstairs master. Needs 10 foot ceilings on the 1st and 9 foot on the second floor to make it feel more voluminous. I would have used two different ceiling heights instead of the faux coffered ceiling in the upstairs game room and would have placed the balcony off of the game room. Negatives, the window at the entrance of the master shower, better have some window coverings or a great show every morning and evening. Could charge for tickets. Gosh you stole my Thunder, who performs in Parhump every Thursday. Very spacious place, well worth the base price.
I really liked how you explained the neighborhood and the layout of the video. Appreciated the floor plan at the end bcuz i got a bit distracted and lost as to where was what. Awesome job👍🏽

I wouldn’t like the sliders in the downstairs master. And I don’t care for the multiple slabs of granite in the bathroom. Rather it look seamless. Do love the fact that the downstairs bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. Some girls just really NEED the tub to relax in. The bedrooms are massive which is nice!! Just my opinion. Lived in Vegas for 13 years now in Southern Highlands.
They should change the entry, nothing more annoying then getting cold when the doors open when your sitting in the living room area. They need to make a small hall entrance in front of it in my opinion.
I like the house, however for the kitchen I don't like how they have the kitchen island as the an eat in dinner table especially so close to the oven. Also I would talk to the builder and relocate the microwave inclose to the opposite side were the door to the outside. Also I would also remove the bar area and change it to an eat in nook with a dinning room table. Unless your an entertainer and then the bar is a necessity. One last thing with the master bath I would put a door where the toilet is because no wants to see you do you business.

With the way how modern life is, especially with the younger generation, tubs arent that big of a deal anymore. Theyre hard to clean and hard to keep maintained and most need replacing in like 10yrs. Tubs dont just appeal to the younger gen anymore which is now making up most of the modern market. Lots of your 40-80yo are now selling their homes and moving into RVs and traveling full time so the market needed to change drastically to appeal to the younger generation to sell homes and also the older generation now is having a hard time getting in and out so tubs become useless after a certain age. Tubs just arent appealing to us younger folks😂i hate the tub in my grandparents house and they honestly do too, they cant use it anymore cus its hard for them to get in and out

I’ve been watching a few of your videos, I would suggest learning more about industry terms and finish descriptions. Such as orange peel as opposed to knock down texture, ceiling types, finished carpentry styles, and general construction terms, a great book to reference would be Architectural Graphics Standards. Sometimes I just cringe at your descriptions, what you are doing is very difficult, and I would not take it on myself but, knowing basic design terminology would make your videos truly stand out! I hope this is comes across to you as constructive, that is how it is meant.
LOL My Man has a negative vibe about those lil Microwave houses🤣But I like this builder. The 3 story homes and this one have a lot of space in the house. A room is a room and the design is ok. I like the amount of room for the base price. Maybe the upgrades is what really jacks the price up. But for the base I think it’s a good value. Thanks Bro.

I LIKE THIS HOUSE YOU SHOWED, BUT I WONDER HOW MUCH IS TO UPGRADE THE CEILINGS BOTH BELOW AND SECOND FLOOR TO 9 FT. I LIKE AMERICA WEST - THEY HAVE THE BEST STRUCTURAL DESIGN, BOTH IN AN OUT.
The thing with AW is that their models stay the same. You can find a home built in 2020 and then find the same exact model and floor plan than was built in 2011.
I needs some tuning. i.e. 2nd floor gaming room ceeling is a fail, need to be flat, too low for that design, micrawave placement is very odd, no laundry for the 2nd floor??? This is a BIG flaw not so easy to solve WTF. Some thins I do like lot, i.e. Master Suite, Gaming room size... Still I would say back to drawing table to fix that floorplant... tons of space for those mistakes to be forgiven.
The house is nice but I will make a lot of changes. 1) The master's should have a bathtub. 2) I do not like the flat roof. It might create water damage. Better to have a sloping roof. I will change the window type. I prefer the overhung windows. It is more secure. I will change some door types too. There should be some balcony at the back etc., etc
Wish that floor plan had matched the home. Their website doesn’t show any of those options that was in this home. The plans on the site look like a $250k home. I wonder how much business they lose as a result of that generic floor plan.
Love the large rooms but need higher ceilings to go with it...and the coffered area brings it down even further. Okay for munchkins but not cool for 6 ft. plus men!
I believe the pavers are included but you'll have to ask the builder when you buy the home. Also towards the end of the video the feature description are included.

Those fireplaces will be out of style in 3 months. I'd rather not have any than those.
If you're a smoker then yes you want that slider door in the downstairs room. Those rooms are nice! Another huge home.

Nice game room! Down stairs barhroom tub to close to the shower! Upstairs nice shower no tub! 5 baths only 2 tubs hmm! No pool dang!
