I’ve owned a v6 camaro, fox-body mustang gt and drove a v6 challenger. I will say at least to me nothing will beat the sound of a roaring v8 but I have new found respect for the 6 cylinders. You can still of the fun stupid crazy stuff in v6 that you would a v8 so honestly either way you would be or at least should be satisfied

I have an 08 Impala LS shell with an SS motor 😂💀 lemme tell you, it's the ultimate sleeper. It has mods done to it and blows scats out the water. Whatever you do, it's worth keeping that car and modding it to all hell. You won't get much if you try to sell it anyway 🤷🏾♂️

But my challenger did beat the mustang off the start about like the Camaro did the mustang. But I also know from experience the Camaro can dust the v6 mustang all the way through I don’t know what happened lol

i dont think i understand the argument here unless youre saying the manual car needs a driver mod/someone who can shift faster. yes automatics shift faster or get the car into gear faster but typically automatic cars dyno about 15 HP less than their manual counterparts because autos have more parasitic drive train loss. so honestly if the manual driver is good then the manual car should have a slight power advantage that will make up for the literally hundreth of seconds in time hes losing between shifts

There were 2 people in the Mustang, but I couldn't see if there was a passenger in the Camaro. If not, then you'd have to subtract Jason's weight to get a more accurate sample.
I refuse to call them muscle cars without the V8s. That being said, it was a close race from start to finish. You don't see races go back and forth like that very often.
