- All the other versions had voice overs, so I re-did the audio on one of them so that you can hear what he's actually saying, rather than a voice over translation over the top of the video and Gabe speaking at the same time.

Long story short the main guy behind Remedy Entertainment said that Alan Wake 2 isn't happening due to financial issues, and that they didn't want to disappoint by rushing out Alan Wake 2 and that another game will be coming out instead.
Even though those things never happened because things naturally change during development, and people waited for that initial TF2 for years and nothing happened.
So Gabe was smart enough to learn that it's best to wait until the product is ready to ship before making big announcements and claims.
Maybe cause they were ... you know... actually " upcoming "
I think true fans will always wait even if it literally looks dark and uncertain, until official statement comes out that " YEA we do not give a shit anymore stop asking us about Half Life " then maybe people will stop to care x D
Now, Gaben speaks about his upcoming skins.
Gabe talking about TF2 in 1999 ... it really was his grand strike. Kinda makes me sad to realize there will never be a TF3.
Maybe, maybe not. I dream that one day Valve will release The Orange Box 2 with everything having a third sequel. Very unlikely of course, but I think Valve could have another set of golden years down the line now that Source 2 is in place, or if they restructure the way everything is managed.
Especially sad now with the bot problem in TF2

He really looks good and healthy here compared to that extra baggage he's carrying around today. There's also a portrait of him with a red background scattered on the internet. Alex Pana - Well, think about it. It was a great concept but the execution of it would had been terrible. Just spectating above the map, pointing out bits and pieces to a team which they can probably already figure out and understand beforehand. It would had been quite boring if you think about it.
I'm surprised though that after all this time they actually implemented the coach feature in TF2.
