Whoa bro where to start ... 1.use a knife to remove the fins... Heat it with mapp gas, cuts like butter and if you've done it enough times you can get it pretty flush the way you barely have to send it. 2.You can grind the right flange inside a little bit just be very careful to remove evenly. 3. You're sending looks like there's way much more material inside then on the outside of where the throttle body mounts essentially you've done nothing you need to open up the inside as much as the outside 4.you're sending is not even smooth you send it to 400 grit but it still looks like it was just hit with 80 or the grinder wheel get that s*** smooth 5. Why would you use brake cleaner on plastic.. always use electrical parts cleaner or something similar even Windex would have been better
I kind of feel like a dick for knocking you on what you've done because you made a good effort but my only intention was to help you improve. I'm sure you could squeeze a few more horsepower out of this if you cleaned everything up

I thought you would grind away at the throttle blade shaft. if you did you didn't show it. makes a big difference, especially if you do both sides at WOT.
Personally I would have left the throttle body be.....What you did to that manifold you probably didn't even notice any gain what so ever......I've done multiple swaps and on these Gen 1,2 and 3 coyotes and you wasted your time. You'll grab at best 5 HP doing that.....Put the time and money somewhere else.....
Hey smart ass do you what do you know about engineering? O yeah, nothing! Porting is one of the most basic styles of making more power since forever. It raises your powerband and increases engine noise. There's regulations that engineers build cars to as well as trying to appeal to the largest crowd of people. To an average joe like you, a lower-end powerband will be more useful as you cruise back and forth to your boyfriend's house. If you weren't such a pussy and took your car to the track you would want to have a stronger top-end powerband where porting comes in. Learn to shut your mouth when you don't even understand the basic principles of engine tuning
@@timm5970 hahahaha rough day at work? Did you get your online keyboard warrior hate out with that? Daily dose? You're right about porting the heads though, it will allow for more hp when done right.

Great video. What kind of air filter you got on it?
Just picked up my 18 mani and wondering if I should just port it myself now before putting it on
*man destroys his factory intake manifold
This is nothing new
Sheeesh. Boss you gotta blow your damn nose.

You can always stuff paper towels in the holes and use a shop vac to suck out the plastic when you're done.
You still have to clean it through out

What about leave manifold stock and put spacer on trotthle body
I’m not trying to make you look bad or something but I do a lot of porting dam man and bolt hole u talking about is the injector hole lol
You forgot to mention to disconnect fuel kill connection under the rear drivers seat first
I bet it felt wayyyyyyyyyy more responsive due to the 19 intake manifold being ported and polished.
I ported my upper and throttle body and my gas mileage went from 17 27
This cant be real.
Did u need to tune after this ?
Nope I use bama tuners and when I ported my mani and put a bbk 90mm throttle body on it I didn’t need to get a new tuner… same way with hp tuners
great vid. so easy n some shops out there charging 400+ to do it .smh 🤦♂️
Blueboy 956 heck yeah, simple tools can make a difference in power
@@apex3106 could you tell a difference in the porting you did to this Stang!?(Ky.)
No reflashing the factory tune?
Saw no performance gains in n/a car. Car made same horsepower.
Cool vid bro
Anyone else do this? How’d it turn out?
I ported my own, was a lot more carful then this guy tho
I did. Blew my engine after a fin got sucked in
I forgot to take the sandpaper out and blew my engine also

When mexicali rich boys think they're smarter than the engineers in charge of building and tuning these cars. "What do I know? I'm just a doctor."
