I just saw him at Barnes&Noble in NYC tonight!!!! I also bought an autographed copy of his new comic!!!!
It was cool to see this interview. Crumb is one of my favorit artist and it was his wild uninhibited imagination that drew me to his work. Thanks for tthis video.
Al's comments on Sean Penn are still as relevant and truthful. Long live Al Goldstein!
Goldstein is Golden. I love Crumb.
It would be great if Charles Bukowski joined in on this conversation too!! Oh, imagine that!
They wouldn't get along...
Watching this makes me feel the way I do when I watch Curb Your Enthusiasm - Ha
Shalom.
HELL YEAH to the Sean Penn - comment! FUCK SEAN PENN!!!Also: Robert Crumb is a great artist! \m/
If you put Sean Penn and Goldstein in a room together my money would be on Al to be the one walking out.
rjplamf61 Sadly, Al had been dead over a year before you posted. RIP.
This is the best fucking Interview!

No I mean this Goldstein interview with Crumb.
Why hasn't Robert Crumb got canceled yet?
This is the guy behind Fritz the Cat? That is... I need to digest that.
Not yet, I'll check it out.
Ended up watching the '87 one. This guy's my new hero.
he created the original character and comics, but did not make the movie and hated it.
Yeah he said so in the doc. Any idea why?
DeviseATideproducers of the film made into into a base, exploitative jumble of nonsense. the original was great.
1986 or 87.
He likes.....harpies?
The criticism would be more powerful without the profanity and ugliness.
