- The Comic Con India Special Interactive Session on Mr Robert Crumb, conducted by Gary Groth
Description: A very special (not to mention historic!) session with Gary Groth (founder and publisher of the Comics Journal, and Fantagraphics 'Publisher of the World's Greatest Cartoonists') in conversation with Mr. Robert Crumb, hailed as the founder of the Underground Comix Movement, and for 'deflowering' comics everywhere!
This session was recorded live at on 19th February, on the final day of the Second Annual Indian Comics Convention, held at Dilli Haat, New Delhi.

It is quite stunning to finally see Crumb and Groth together! Both, in very disparate forms, shaped so much of what now exists as "comix." So lucky to see the meeting in India, as well! I could listen to their conversations for many hours at the drawing board and never tire. Very inspirational.
Thank you so much for this. R.Crumb is a GOD. Still not as known as he should be. His work tops all that superhero comics bullshit.
Wallace Wood has his own unique style (thats undeniable). But crumb is in a whole other world. His art and beauty series is his best stuff, along with his sketchbooks (I recently bought the 1982-2011 series, amazing)
That was great!
Great to hear that Crumb was quite the conspiracy theorist. I love him even more now.
Depressed and depraved said the women at the end - I think not but maybe.
Robert Hughs ( the art critic) thought of Crumb as a modern day Goya.
Great talk and questions.
Thank you.
Bruegel, I think you mean.
Thanks for uploading!
Crumb is so Punk Rock...
