That Kangxi style vase at Bonham's looks modern to me, what Kangxi style vase has a Jiajing mark but is later? They have a few suspect lots in that sale that 'are later'. Unfortunately here in Australia the Asian art sales have shrunk quite a bit and the quality can be suspect at times, although a couple of auction houses do a decent job and Bonham's is typically good. I did have a bad experience with their expert though, where I presented them with a couple of the more rare and valuable items out of my collection and she rejected them, its now funny to see some of the questionable items she is happy to put in the sale.
Like your series about fake Asian art auction house. Just came across one in Silicon Valley named Yosemite Auctions. A video review may be helpful. This auction even has fake china trade pieces 😂
I reached out to Bonham's Australia and received detailed pictures of the Kangxi style dragon vase. It's definitely 20th Century imo.
Thanks again Peter. Some real bargains around lately. If I could get a few small pieces without my Wife noticing I would.

Thank you so much Peter!💙
That’s a lovely Ersari.
Thanks for the video.😊
Thanks!
I won the bag face for $168!!! Can't wait to get it! Thank you Peter for going over the rugs, I've never owned one but will soon
Nice to see you talk about other stuff like carpets and American furniture; thank you Peter
I would not sell at auction houses that are not presenting at least 3-4 pictures. Great that you also covered some rugs 👍
NICE TO WATCH FROM ME IN ENGLAND 🇬🇧 TIME 11.47PM
I was the underbidder on the sauceboat. It also went for under $100.
Was that a toy or a lizard your dog was interested in?
❤❤❤
