I notice C3PO doesn't have a silver leg, Mandella effect!!
Ah, the mysterious Mandela Effect strikes again! 🤯👀 It's funny how our memories can sometimes play tricks on us. C-3PO's silver leg is indeed a notable detail that some fans overlook! 🤖✨ Did you notice any other Mandela Effects in the show? 📺🔍
The WRACo starting-gun was valued as $600 to $800, but you put $6,000 to $8,000 on the screen.
Yikes, talk about a decimal dilemma! 😅 Sorry about the mix-up there! 💸🤦♂️ Thanks for catching that discrepancy - $600 to $800 sounds a bit more wallet-friendly! 🎯🔍
Love you guys went and got Mike Rowe to narrate. Love that guy.
Mike Rowe's narration adds such a great touch, doesn't it? 🎤🌟 His voice brings a whole new level of charm to the show! 📺👌 Have you enjoyed his work on other shows too? 🤔📺
@@Antique_TreasureHunt Yes I have. He has great cadence.
I think she is beautiful💗
That's so sweet! Beauty truly is timeless, just like those antique treasures we love to admire. Keep finding beauty in unexpected places! 💗🌹
Love the show also I can learn!
That's fantastic to hear! 🌟 Antiques Roadshow is such a great blend of entertainment and education, isn't it? 📺🎓 What's been one of the most fascinating things you've learned from the show so far? 🤔
The fish dish is pronounced Ma joe la ka, Majolica. 😊
Thanks for the correction! 😊 Majolica, got it! 🐟🍽️ Pronunciations can be a slippery fish sometimes! 🐠🎤
Who is your narrator?
While I enjoy Mike Rowe's narration and Antique Roadshow in general, somebody has definitely dropped the ball in the closed caption field i.e. showing an item worth $15,000 as $50,000.
hahaha that is indeed not good! not good together I think, thanks for your feedback and good to hear that you like the videos!🥰🌷
Oh wow reproduction of a Lobster and what a piece of Art!
Sounds like a crustacean creation worth shell-ebrating! 🦞🎨 Lobster art? That's definitely a catch! 🎣🖼️ Did it reel you in with its charm? 🌊🤔
@@Antique_TreasureHunt Yes, what amazed me was this mobility of the legs, just like a real lobster.
That's incredible! 🦞🤯 It's amazing how lifelike some of these antique pieces can be, isn't it? 🌟🎨 The attention to detail is truly remarkable! 👀👌
Priceless finds?...
You have got to be kidding me!!
I hear you loud and clear! 😅 "Priceless" might be stretching it a bit, huh? 🤷♂️ Let's stick with "valuable" or "interesting" finds instead! 💎🔍 Thanks for keeping it real! 🙌
"Worchester" for Worcester, "Chowcer" for Chaucer ... AI needs some betterinput.
Yes, really pathetic. On this programme someone in the know needs to explain the correct pronunciation of names to the narrator, who seems blissfully unaware of the nuances, making the whole business look amateurish, as if they can’t be bothered, which is a shame because the Antiques Road Show is famous for its antiquarian specialists who display such impressive knowledge of the items presented.
You're absolutely right! Accurate pronunciation is crucial, especially for names with historical significance like Worcester and Chaucer. 🎙️📚 It's always helpful to provide correct input to ensure the best possible outcomes. Thanks for pointing that out! 👍🗣️
Narrator needs some pronunciation lessons ....
Seems like the narrator hit a few rough patches with pronunciation! 😅 They might need a little tune-up in that department! 🎵📚 Hopefully, the content made up for it! 🎬👍
Value of guitar??
For God’s sake I wish the commentator would have learned how to pronounce the word majolica for Item #22. I almost fell out when he said the was a
mag-o-lee-ka piece!
Have you encountered any other mispronunciations that caught your attention? 🤔📚
Ive heard so many mispronunciations in a video, utterly cringeworthy
Yikes, mispronunciations can definitely be cringeworthy! 🙈🗣️ It's important to get those details right, especially on a show like Antiques Roadshow! 🎙️🔍 Did you still find the content interesting despite the slip-ups? 🤔📺
@@Antique_TreasureHunt Yes the content was indeed very interesting, thank you
Cornwall is in England
Absolutely! Cornwall is indeed in England! 🏴🌊 It's famous for its stunning coastline, rich history, and delicious pasties! 🥟🏖️ Ever been there yourself? 🤔
Golden eagle, not American bald eagle.
Got it, thanks for the clarification! 🦅👍 The golden eagle is indeed a majestic bird! 🌟🦅 Did you enjoy the episode? 🤔📺
@@Antique_TreasureHunt sure did, use to watch your show years ago.
@@Antique_TreasureHuntmost certainly good sir!
“Who was one of the most beautiful artists in Britain.” And I’m out. The narration often makes no sense.
Sorry to hear the narration didn't quite hit the mark for you! 🎙️🚫 Sometimes, those moments can be a bit head-scratching! 😅🤷♂️ Did you enjoy the rest of the episode despite the occasional confusion? 📺🤔
Had to turn off due to the american commentator’s appalling pronunciation
Oh no, sorry to hear that! 😬 Pronunciation mishaps can definitely be a turn-off! 🎙️🔇 Did anything else catch your eye in the episode? 📺👀
37:32 15k not 50k.
Got it, thanks for the clarification! 🎯👍 That's quite the difference in valuation! 💰📉 What factors do you think contributed to the change? 🤔
11:12 6 to 800 dollars not thousand!
Thanks for the correction! 💰💡 That's a significant difference indeed! 📉👀 What do you think might account for the variation in valuation? 🤔
Well, here we go again - you sound like an educated American but your narration is filled with errors. Pronouncing Che - llini as Sell - ini? And saying that a teapot has a broken sprout, with an r? Half of the time you get the gender of the guest wrong, you cannot tell the difference between the sexes?
AI?
Oops, my bad! 😅 Looks like I stumbled over a few pronunciation hurdles there! 🏃♂️ Thanks for catching those slip-ups - I'll work on my linguistic acrobatics! 🤸♂️💬 And as for gender mix-ups, well, I'll strive for better accuracy on that front too! 🎯💁♂️ Thanks for keeping me on my toes! 🙏
the canon at 11.10- tekst says 6-8000 dollars-
but he sayis 6-800 dollars...
just another stupid failure
It's frustrating when there are discrepancies like that! 💸🤦♂️ Accurate information is essential for understanding the value of items being appraised. Hopefully, future episodes will have clearer and consistent information to avoid confusion. Have you noticed any other inconsistencies or errors in the show?
That narrator got just about every name wrong. Terrible pronunciation!
It can be frustrating when a narrator struggles with pronunciation! 🎙️😬 Getting names right is crucial for credibility and respect. Did you still find the content interesting despite the pronunciation issues? 🤔📺
The narrator needn’t struggle if he has done his homework. This is so sloppy.
