Chinese are created in the Image of God. It is a blessing to hear Orthodox Faith being witnessed in China. God Lord continue shining the True Light of the Orthodox Faith to all Chinese.
@@sugengakhmad3939 "orthodox not christian"??? 😅😅😅 what are you talking about? 😂 you don't know there are orthodox christian? What do you think this chant come from? do some research first my friend 😂😂
May God bless and protect you, our siblings living in the Land of the Dragon. May you work and prayers purify and raise you home to Heaven, like a Phoenix. Be strong in your faith, the enemy will not stop hunting, we are a minority everywhere, even in our own countries.
1st Enoch Chapter 40 1 And after that I saw thousands of thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, I saw a multitude 2 beyond number and reckoning, who stood before the Lord of Spirits. And on the four sides of the Lord of Spirits I saw four presences, different from those that sleep not, and I learnt their names: for the angel that went with me made known to me their names, and showed me all the hidden things. 3 And I heard the voices of those four presences as they uttered praises before the Lord of glory. 4,5 The first voice blesses the Lord of Spirits for ever and ever. And the second voice I heard blessing 6 the Elect One and the elect ones who hang upon the Lord of Spirits. And the third voice I heard pray and intercede for those who dwell on the earth and supplicate in the name of the Lord of Spirits. 7 And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before the Lord 8 of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth. After that I asked the angel of peace who went with me, who showed me everything that is hidden: 'Who are these four presences which I have 9 seen and whose words I have heard and written down?' And he said to me: 'This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel.' 10 And these are the four angels of the Lord of Spirits and the four voices I heard in those days.
Well the words of the Cherubic Hymn are worship… the same words no matter what tune is used everywhere in the World is the same at every Liturgy. "Let us, who mystically represent the cherubim and sing the thrice-holy hymn to the life-giving trinity, lay aside all worldly cares, that we may receive the King of all, invisibly escorted by the angelic hosts. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia." We don’t read the book of Enoch or Revelation in Orthodox services.
I pray the Holy Orthodox faith to spread in China and not American Protestantism. We have exported some bad stuff and have lost our way but we can return to our roots of the historic Christian faith which is in Holy Orthodoxy. ☦️
Absolutely beautiful!!! ♥️ I am Chinese, my only compliant is not being to make out what the choir is singing for the most part. Someone just sent a video to me on the making of this hymn, it answered my question that the choir members are not native Chinese speakers. Would you kindly post the Chinese lyrics here?
I'd like to know how to speak Chinese, which I'd probably like going to China and help teach and exemplify the faith. I'd need some Chinese Bibles translated from the KJV. Understand, the KJV is what I learned from so am familiar with, despite all I've forgotten. It's been my understanding the Catholic Church had tried to evangelize China but were sort of forced out. Which if it were really God's will, I wouldn't need to learn Chinese, he'd simply give me that ability. China is said to be a wonderful country. I believe it. Which we're all united by Christ.
Sometimes God's will is for us to learn things slowly and not for Him to just grant it to us! If you believe God is calling you to do so, learn Chinese! Also, it should be translated from the originals, not from an english translation like the KJV. The Bible has already been translated into Chinese. But they do need more people evangelizing!
Please provide the Chinese script and Pinyin romanization so we can share it with others. We should also have something that can be sung while we are partaking of the Eucharist.
These are the lyrics as I hear them as a non-native but reasonably skilled Mandarin speaker, with a literal interpretation in English. It's essentially identical in meaning to the Cherubic Hymn that English-speaking Orthodox churches use. 让我们 ràng wǒmen (let us) 奥妙地彰显基路伯 àomiào de zhāngxiǎn jīlùbó (mystically manifest the cherubim;) 向施与生命的 xiàng shīyǔ shēngmìng de (to the life-granting one,) 向三位一体 xiàng sānwèiyītǐ (to the Trinity,) 唱唱三颂 chàngchàng sānsòng (sing the Thrice-Holy Hymn) 当下让我们 dāngxià ràng wǒmen (now let us) 放下人世间 fàngxià rénshì jiān (set down [of earthly life]) 一切地牵挂 yīqiè de qiānguà (all cares) (repeat first verse once, then second verse three times) 如此我们将接待 rúcǐ wǒmen jiāng jiēdài (thusly we shall soon receive) 万有的君王 wànyǒu de jūnwáng (the universal sovereign) 祂无形状来临 tā wú xíngzhuàng láilín (without form he approaches) 被众天使举扬 bèi zhòng tiānshǐ jǔyáng (uplifted and praised by a multitude of angels) 哈雷路亚 hāléilùyà (hallelujah)

Orthodoxy in China isn’t new. The Russian delegation arrived in 1682 but earlier an Assyrian mission brought Christianity in 635. Archeological evidence shows the presence of Christianity at the early date. Here’s an interview with the composer th-cam.com/users/livetK9h6yi_Z8Y?si=Jmae7w4KrArT7RYt
I think because of comments that all Orthodox Liturgies follow the same pattern (I am not speaking about Oriental Orthodox). I don’t speak Mandarin but I would pretty much know what is going on in the service especially when the Cherubic Hymn is sung because there is a great procession with chalice and bread (patten) down the middle isle to the altar. There are many beautiful Cherubic Hymns but this is the ONLY place they are sung. Nowhere else. Other songs and chants have their space in the Liturgy also. Benedict Sheehan directs on TH-cam singing the Cherubic hymn and the entire liturgy in English if you’re interested. th-cam.com/video/o65dIj3lWP4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TtcYM4b5hlU80KtC
