He’s also one of the greatest guitar players of all time! Also great on the viola, mandolin & harmonica! He was an incredible musician.

Holy Christ! You know I saw him about 6 times and he never played fiddle at any of those gigs. What a talent! I'd like to hear what he did on piano! He played everything!

"Gates" - I have seen many tiomes live in a small club near me. Not only a great Blues guitarist, but can play the violin(fiddle) and the Viola. Calssically trained also and can play his guitar on his lap - like on the classic "Unchained Melody".
See him if you can - he's way up in years and will soon join his fellow greats up in Blues Heaven !!
