Not so much at the end. From Level 20 to his top out at Level 28, Doremy hit exactly two Tetrises. (One in Level 20, one in Level 24.) Which by the way is the reason he lost. Tetrises are CRITICAL in Classic Score Attack. One Tetris at Level 19 almost(?) beats out every non-Tetris line that Doremy got from L20 onward, combined.
@@matheuscabral9618 other than the fact that people had to find a way to literally simulate multiple button presses in succession to get past level 29 in classic tetris, I don't know what you mean either
What he obviously means is that the rules are very simple and it looks easy to do it when you look at it, but once you’re sitting there forced to spam these buttons like a maniac, you realise it’s hard to get enough input in and simultaneously plan the next move, not to mention how fast you have to plan it. Tetris also has a surprisingly annoying tendency to not give you whatever piece it is you really need, but I don’t know if that’s real or just my perception.
Just funny that around level 16 where Doremy tries to fix the stack, I realized I recognize the T-spin pattern stacking Would be cracking if one day Doremy shows up in CTWC and be that one player who do the most T-spins out of everybody
As someone who doesn't play Classic, it's weird to watch. 7:35-7:40 in particular had a voice screaming at him in my head to finish building the T-Spin/STSD setups, and a second voice screaming at the first one to stop being an idiot.
@@JosephEarlRZafra tspinning has nothing whatsoever to do with hyper tapping... it’s literally just spinning the t piece. Hyper tapping is when you can tap a direction fast. Learn what words mean before using them
I'm certain he went for it, but at that speed you need frame perfect timing every time. There's no lock delay, so the step after it's down, it's locked.
yup level 29 is the 'kill screen' of the original NES game, it's around double the speed of lv 28 i think. basically it wasn't intended for it to be that fast, but it's been recreated for TE:C anyway

Classic tetris looks deceptively easy but damn lv 19 onwards is fucking nuts. Mad props to those that can even make it to 29
Even more for people who can get past level 29
What Zeb Walker said 🥇
it isn’t deceptively easy what tf do you mean

the only time a loss can be considered a win.
7:48 the most tempting block to finish the setup
@@FireballFlame tspins are usually used to recover from a misdrop, get tetris ready, or burn/clean your board in CT. But you probably knew that :/
9:07 pahwp great save
wow it even has the ctwc score tracker. This looks great
Ah yeh because its made by the tetris maker by it self and some good developers too
this game was splendid with the music, a great way to end 2020!
Holy was this really from 2 years ago?
killscreen is at 13:00
lol at 2:31 it really looked like doremy wanted to use that L to set up a T-spin

It's not that he didn't go for it, it's that he missed it because it's much harder in Classic Tetris (piece is locked immediately as it lands)

9 actually has about the same scoring potential as 18, so it would be around the same score given the same efficiency.

Guys wtf u cant do a t spin in classic tetris because once the block touched the block below it will stack automatic and cant do the hyper tap
You can totally do T-spins in classic, it's just way harder since it locks in after one step
It’s also pointless
