@@ventuskitsune4257 It's both, actually. In phase 1 at the start of the game it takes 6 like clears to fill one segment of zone. After someone reaches 20k points to reach phase 2 it's 8, and after 60k points for phase 3 it's 10.

Let me see if I understand the Zone Mechanic through observation. -You have a limited amount of time to clear as many lines as possible -Lines you clear are sent to the bottom, pushing uncleared lines with holes upwards. -The lines are not actually cleared until the Zone is over, at which point any attack power is used to counter upcoming garbage while the rest is sent to your opponent -The attack power sent relates to how many garbage lines you just sent your opponent -The attack power is determined not only by how many lines you cleared, but how you did so (Tetris and T-Spins would give more attack power, even if you clear the same amount of lines) -If you place a piece above the well and a new piece can't spawn in, (the condition you would normally lose) you lose the Zone, and any lines you made are cleared. -The more times you use it in a match, the faster it will drain. -Perfectris is done by clearing either 19 or all 20 possible lines while in the Zone, effectively filling the board as much as physically possible How close am I?
perfectris is 18 and 19 lines, 20 lines is ultimatris. the zone decay speed is based on how long the game has been going on divided into three phases. Everything else sounds right
hi, i know im 2 years late but the zone duration is dictated on what phase you are in a match, phases will activate on certain lines cleared thresholds (i forgot how many lines exactly but think of it as when you clear 100 lines, you move up a phase) there are 3 phases, being on a higher phase means, your garbage holes gets more random and your zone duration shortens. however, you were mostly right on the other stuff
I see several T-spins that I don't understand, perhaps because I'm a bit of a novice. For example, at 23:43 Uyeshota has a t-spin double but rotates again into a t-spin single. Is this intentional and beneficial, or is over-rotation just a side effect of Going Really Fast? Thanks ahead of time!

ZONE Battle's theme and sound effects are so, so good

Clear 6 lines to get one zone charge, and 24 to get max zone. The quality of the line clears doesn't matter.
