Mo and Don never having met in person despite doing 50 podcast episodes all over 90 minutes long proves the power of a true brotherhood. Homies didn’t even need to know each other in person for months
Didn't he say this weekend so maybe they met previously long time ago?
@@GujiiCousins That's what I thought as well.
Fr I’d like to know how these guys know each other
@kamuelahanamaikai5277 they know each other through Issac
@@kamuelahanamaikai5277I assume Issac is the reason they met.
Donovan going full tinfoil hat on Wilt's 100 point game is an All Time Hating moment 😂😂
Edit: yall i agree with Donovan fyi
Bro was the 1st overall pick in all time haters draft 💀
Bro went in on Lebron too, he was in his BAG this podcast
I mean, he was spitting facts, so...
Well, he's not wrong. Give today's guys as much shots as Wilt took, they would already break that record. It's not impressive anymore, all we know about Wilt are just myths, fairy tales
I don't disagree
This gotta be Don's best episode ong. From Wilt slander, KD hating, Hakeem glazing, to Timmy appreciation. Absolute W
Also credit to him for being objective enough to acknowledge Malone as a player on his list. Off the court is what it is but he was 11-time All-NBA, 2-time MVP and third all-time in scoring. He’s easily a top 30 player.
@@jerodgraham6623 Thats what i was thinking, you have to separate the nba player from the real life person. To me it's the same as not blaming an actor for the kill their character makes on screen, its two different entity's
the hakeem glazing was fuckin deserved
@@BiasedSpursFanamen
@@Jordidwaard i get what you're saying but the actor analogy doesn't really work cuz the actor didn't actually kill anyone, malone actually did some shit.
Nah, the reason Jordan is better than LeBron is because Space Jam 1 is better than Space Jam 2, duh
Nuh uh space jam 2 is better because of LeBron
@@d3kder Nay
@@d3kderMf can’t even act
Also Jordan played for less time and had a better career
Someone needs to teach this man basketball
My respect for Donovan after the Hakeem argument ⬆️
Yes
His list is the best by far except for Isiah Thomas at 12
That was major cap
Yea Shoutout to Joel Embiid w/Bam's durability and work ethic . . . that's nuts that a player like that actually existed 30 years ago.
Facts imo hakeem is top 6 all time
me too man, i loved to hear him make the case. hakeem is my favorite player of all time, and i know it sounds nasty, but i really honestly do take him as the greatest center of all time. even above kareem. he is arguably the greatest of all time in multiple different niches, and at the same time he is a complete basketball player who doesn’t have a flaw in his game. greatest defender of all time. of course he’s got the rim protection and iq, but he’s also a guy who can guard 1 - 5. top 2 or 3 post scorer of all time, but he also can shoot and make freethrows. he can dribble. he’s one of the greatest rebounders ever. he’s an extremely strong and dominant behemoth while also having some of the best footwork and finesse ever. as a basketball player, if i have to draft any center all time, i am literally taking hakeem.
Time stamp?

"td3 goes to therapy" 💀
Shoutout to Mo, honestly the fact he listed at least 15 players greater of all time w/o mentioning Jerry "The Logo" West makes me so happy. Although I probably wouldn't put Moses Malone over Durant but I don't hate that. Because for me right now KD's peak ranking should be in the higher teens. So 16-19.
Don’t forget don putting isiah at 12
Don’s rant on wilt will go down in history as one of the greatest TD3 moments of all time.
By far in my opinion, Don' s list is extremely solid. And I respect him for the arguments he made for Hakeem, who is by far the most complete center, to play in the NBA.
It's clear that all 3 of them cant actually hoop. There's a reason 90% of NBA players keep saying MJ and Kobe are the 2 greatest ever. And they got him 9th. Saying he was a good defender and good scorer. The man is the greatest scorer in the modern nba and top 3 perimeter defenders of all time.
@@GJG_3no one who actually hoops think Kobe is top 2, unless it’s a popularity contest. Actual ball wise, he’s barely even top 10. You’re acting like shooting guard is the only position in basketball.
@@GJG_3 you're thinking about a very different kind of "greatness" in basketball. Kobe and MJ is top 2 "greatest" for their lasting impact on the game. (e.g. mamba mentality) and most nba players are talking about that kind of greatness. (i.e. who they look up to)
but this podcast is much more about stats and accolades. so like Bird who has a much better stat line would rank higher than Kobe.
@@junct respectfully fuck mamba mentality. That's not why Kobe is better. He's better because he's fkn better than everyone else. Enough with this mentality shit. Skill wise Kobe is miles above everyone who has ever played the game. Only Kyrie is close. Your making things up. Bird's stats are not better than Kobe. Especially in the playoffs. You're basing that because Bird shoots 4% higher.
Now lets talk stats right. Every single player was placed as a rookie as the #1 option. Kobe was getting 15 mins his first 2 season. Remove Kobe's first 2 seasons and he averages over 28ppg. Third highest ppg ever. Remove his final season post achilles and it goes up to 29ppg. Kobe and Wilt literally own every single scoring milestone. Kobe's 35ppg seasons would equal 43ppg in today league. 55 points in a half. Had the 3pt record for a decade. Most 20, 30 point quarters. Most 40 point halves. Kobe lead the league in 3 straight playoffs runs. No one except MJ has ever done that. Best scorer ever check. Oh look at that....Kobe also has the most defensive first team selections of all time. Top 2 or 3 perimeter defender ever check. Scoring and defense is essentially basketball. Oh yea only player ever to win multiple title without a top 75 teammate.
Really ask yourself this. Why do 90% of current and former NBA players rank Kobe 2nd all time. You think they're all bias? Even so our opinion is dog shit compared to theirs. I will personally never state my opinion on a sport I've never played competitively (club, nationally, college etc). Doesn't matter how much I watch it. These 3 clearly don't hoop therefore their opinion really is meaningless.
@@GJG_3is your brain okay😂
I really liked Donovans takes on this. I usually just watch the shorts, so all I usually see are silly bits. But Donovan has a lot of ball knowledge and he respects the OGs.
I like this podcast but Donovan is definitely the most knowledgeable and well spoken. Jordan could have also been drafted to a better team. What ifs are meaningless. You play the cards you are given.
@@cyberwizardgames5889 Isaac is usually by far the most knowledgeable on the list, Donovan is more well-spoken but his arguments are usually circumstancially. His hakeem takes were great though.
Straight facts, Don knows his stuff 💯
Hopefully my 2001 76ers don’t get roasted and Pepe Sanchez
Fax
they did lmao 💀
Whoo???
Spoiler:Pepe sanchez goat
I was driving home from vacation and had to pull over because I was in tears 😂
1:17:14 for Don's legendary Hakeem Olajuwon speech.
"This man fasting for Ramadan giving David Robinson 37 and 15" is a legendary quote
On a empty stomach
Also they didn't mention that he was at that time top 10 in steals!!! A center being top 10 in steals is huge!
If you look at Hakeem’s stats, the amount of times he almost had a Quadruple or Quintuple double is wild. He is so effective on every facet of the ball, it’s actually a great take to put him at 7
Honestly, I think:
Jordan and Bron are interchangeable
Magic and Bird are interchangeable
Duncan and Hakeem are interchangeable
As long as we agree they're in the same pyramid tier, the order can shift without ruffling feathers
Jordan > Bron. Dont give into the propaganda
Id say magic is above bird, don't think it's interchangeable.
This is a good statement 👍
Based on the average on their three lists this is the placements of the top 26. Each player must have been listed on all three lists to qualify.

Hakeem is so good that no one makes fun of the Rockets for picking him over Jordan. Bro is so good
Tbf wasn't jordan 3 so it wasnt crazy to pick him over the 3rd pick
@@skippy3607yes he was but the point is that nobody looks back it at like "oh well that was a terrible mistake" because hakeem was that good.
In fact I'd say it's the Rockets fault they didn't have more success lol. If they actually surrounded him with elite talent, he would've actually competed with Jordan
One of the best episodes ever, being in person makes the whole thing so much better (mo and don finally meeting in person after like a year of podcasting is so wholesome)! You guys are so cool, keep up the great work!
This is one of the greatest TH-cam videos I’ve ever seen. Ya’ll deserve your flowers for this one. The Wilt and KD rants were stuff of legend. None of that First Take shouting non ball conversation bs. Just guys having a conversation about basketball.

Since no one else has mentioned it I’m glad Duncan is starting to be mentioned in top 5 debates, a few years ago most people online had him 10-15 range which was fucking wild
Facts he’s definitely better then jordans son (kobe dude)
Id say he should be somewhere to 6-8 but top 5 is debateable
I have Tim 2nd
@@lukacalov1988maybe not second but like 4th or third
I don't have Duncan top 5 however my top 5 in the order y'all prefer cuz I'm 25 so I welcome being wrong as I have no context for anybody in the 90's and before but my top 5 consists of: MJ, LeBron, Magic, Kareem, and Bill Russell. If you want to say eject Bill Russell for Timmy D I have no issue with that seeing as how Timmy D would be somewhere in that 6-10 range and if you want to do the sections based on 1 of each position Timmy D would be 5.

Donovan preached for Hakeem and Zeke, and he is damn right!
The takes were all in all very refreshing and solid.
Kudos for the 50th episode

Yea but baylor at 30 is criminal
Hakeem is diff bro. Happy he gave him that respect. Such a great player that’s Lowkey underrated to most casual fans.

Lebron is 21 for 122 career clutch shots 💯 thats 17% 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ this guy said LBJ is the most clutch player lmfao... hes not even close to that... MJ was 29 for 57, thats 50% 🏀🏀💯💯 use real information
Real information is also that lebron has the most playoff clutch shots ever, and many more than mj…
@DonKennedyy that's false! Lebron has 2 more makes at a far worse shooting percentage 💯 also MJ on playoff series elimination shots is 3 for 3.. Lebron is 0 for 7.... and in the finals Jordan is 4 for 8.. Lebron is 0 for 4 💯 u all don't get to just cherrypick whatever stat u think works best for Lebron.... put it all on the table, Lebron isn't even in the same galaxy as Jordan in clutch situations! 🏀💯 I'm a Pistons fan, the whole world knew MJ was getting the ball and gonna kill you, never felt that way with Lebron
@@user-rz2gp2hm9z Just because u were born in the 1950s doesn't mean u can say Jordan is better
@Mcbray4sure lmao... I was both in 1976 bro... not the 50s! 💯 Mikes better becuz I seen both play basketball, and Mike was even better than Lebron.... has nothing to do when I was born! And just becuz u were born in 2012, and only seen 1 guy play.. don't mean LBJ is better than MJ... u notice how most people who actually seen both, agree Jordan was even better 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ that's not a coincidence

Honestly Donovan completely owned this list. Love the Wilt placement. Isiah might be high but besides that just an amazing ranking
The Hakeem respect is WHAT I LOVE TO SEE😂same w that Timmy respect. Bro knows ball, he’s my fav out of the 3, and he has some great shows. Eh mo being a risk taker is smt I love too.
I don't agree with Isiah being too high. He was just a great player skills-wise and a fighter who elevated his game in the playoffs mentality-wise; he ended two dynasties and stalled the dawn of a new one by three years.
And Hakeem - I truly believe he's the best center ever. None of the other guys had that mobility, none of them came close to having that skill set. Shaq's "most dominant"? Doesn't matter to Hakeem who simply destroyed him with his finesse. He was and still is an exceptional guy. LeBron would not be the player that he is if it wasn't for Hakeem.
Why do you agree with the wilt placement
@@LuisLRCevery one should. he is the most overrated player of all time. he was a good scorer decent defender great rebounder but had little success vs Bill Russell. He just scored a lot of points and got a lot of rebounds. Definitely nothing top 10 worthy, and he probably isnt even top 15. Certainly isnt on my list.
@@StrawberryDreamsicle wilt Vs bill Russel: 30/28/4 on 50%fg (would lead the league at the time) Vs bill Russel who averaged 13/22/4 on 37%fg (nearly ten % below his average) against wilt. Bill Russel is like captain America, and wilt is like thanos. Bill just happens to have his avenger buddies to help him out every time
The point isn't that Michael Jordan never lost. The point is that Michael Jordan was never the reason his team lost. Every time his team was favored by betting odds he won. That is not the same case for LeBron. LeBron has choked multiple Series where he was favored and also because of his personal play. Even while Jordan was getting his ass beat by the 80s Celtics he was dropping 40 he was dropping 60 and he was at least averaging 30. At no point in time was he ever getting outscored by a bench player like Jason Terry
Nah he really only choked the 2011 finals, every other case was his team failing to play up to par. Especially the 2017 and 2018 finals
@@chisome1777 2010 LeBron James dominated in the Eastern Conference Final for the first three games and then absolutely fell off a cliff the next three. He was very inconsistent around that time. Everyone favored Cleveland to make the finals.
No one absolutely dominated their era like MJ. Other than Bill Russel where there only 8 nba teams lol
Last game of 2010 series he dropped 27-19-10 the only game where he was ass was that 5th game

One person being higher destroys the list that’s crazy
Love coming back to this episode for the top tier Wilt rant. “We’ve seen aliens but never seen footage” and all we have to go off of is a piece of paper with crayon on it 💀
I'm a big Jokic fan but putting him at 13 is crazy recency bias
Deadass
Yeah, agreed at this moment but i believe he’ll deserve it soon enough
all time lists often are about who has the most championships
so yea, if that's your standard then Jokic only has 1
they were talking about MVPs being worth the same as a ring, so, I guess that's why Jokic was where he was
Still jokic only has 4 years of a prime which I guess shows he did a lot but like guys like Dr. J and Moses Malone who had longer primes and did more in their primes then should be higher
Indeed
This episode is awesome! So glad y'all were able to have a podcast in the same room! Question tho, if Mo and Donavan had never met in person prior to this how'd y'all come across to make this podcast with the three of y'all?

Wilt is overrated how you drop a fake 100 point game and only have 2 rings🤡
@@954Yon people call more modern players all sorts of stat-padders but really, the worst one in history is wilt IMO. the only time he won championships was when he actually listened to his coaches about playing team ball. and there have been interviews with former teammates attesting to wilt's selfishness on the court. even when he led the league in assists, he would pass specifically to people who would catch and shoot without dribbling because taking a dribble nullified the assist at the time. all-time stat-padder.

Greatest podcast episode of all time. Y'all need to go on tour or smthn because this energy you have in person is incredible!
The Kobe disrespect is crazy bruh lmao people seem to forget he was at one point considered the best player in the world. The man leads all guards in points and Defensive selections. Also leads all SG's in Rebounds and assists. He legitimately has no flaws in his game, and is considered one of the most clutch players of all time 💯
Glad I found this, I kept seeing shorts and stuff but the actual podcast is so much better.
KG told in a podcast that Tim Duncan was one of the hardest trash talkers he ever faced, cause you cant get in his head, but he would hit you with simple sentences that would get you mad very quickly. Watch this interview, is very good.

He's the 3rd best all-time Celtic guy there after Russell and Bird, and just cmon man Russell won't have 11 without him, not mentioned he averaged 21/6/5 while having 8x All-Defensive Teams, one of the most underrated players imo.

Hyped for this podcast!
this is probably the best Don episode ever LMAAAOOOO he went so hard
This is still one of the best top 30 podcast I've ever heard. Mo's list is on point.
Do a draft using only players who played for the Spurs at some point in their career 🎉
I give Wilt and Bill Russel Honorary Top 10. They played a type of Basketball that was so different that it literally isnt comparable to anyone else on the list. You cant really accurately rank them. Like on some Founding Fathers of Basketball type ish
The hard part with Tim is the intangibles, the leadership, the work ethic, the culture. Tim Duncan is the spurs. His advanced stats, especially defensively, were also elite his entire career.
Here’s what I like about Donovan’s top 5: best 2 guard, best small forward, best center, best power forward, best point guard, in that order. 🔥
One doubt i always had with top ten rankings is Magic and Kareem's ranking. Like the fact that they played together should work against them to some degree, like sure KD and Curry as well as Shaq and Kobe played together but for very short periods of time. KAJ and Magic had each other for a most of the 80's. Like theyre still top ten but that should be a factor
oh man this is going to be a BANGER!!!!
Don owned this list! Solid arguments for Hakeem, Duncan and Isiah...and WILT! That was a hot take if there ever was one, but it was a damn good one. Wilt was a talented diva. Great player obviously, but vainglorious. Loved Mo's ranking of Durant and Curry.
Duncan has zero holes in the resume. He gets hate on bc he had no rizz lol, beating the Heat like they did was INSANE. Has chips AND 1st team All NBA 15 years apart
Episode 50 Don with the fresh cut and y’all in person! 💯🔥
Don went back to back on all-timer rants with the KAT one last time and the Wilt one in this one
Having Harden AND Cp3 in an all time list top30 is pretty wild
The point about Jordan's dpoy being helped because it was a different era is a 2 way street lebrons offense is helped by playing now also
Yessir!!!!!!!!!! Luv u guys u guys are awesome 🤩
Joe ingles not being here is wild
1:54:01 this conversation is interesting, can't forget that this era of basketball was more or less who has the bigger stick, less possessions, more iso ball etc. In a sense I would argue Jordans accomplishments are more valuable due to the reliance on him per the style of the period (particularly the second threepeat)
Donavan was cookin 🔥 when he was talking about Hakeem
Mojo stay w the calm fits 😌
"Barkley is Barkley and he didn't win anything" is WILD.
Donovan's big W for defending Isiah Thomas and presenting valid points
The thing about wilt and Russel is they played in an era where they were guarding 6’3 players at the rim
dayummmm they together, but top 50 all time is gonna be something I'm scared imma see some wild shit😭😭
On the topic of Jokic: I think he will retire top 10 all time, but he has only played a few years, only now just won his first Ring and so his resume is in the 20s. So it feels weird when Isaac and Mo have him in the teens, because you guys are kind of hedging your bets. You're giving his potential partial credit, when I feel like it would be more consistent to put him higher, where you think he will be when all is said and done, or lower, based on what he has actually done.
Don’s Hakeem argument is the stuff of legends
Isaac having that Igor in his room shows he has good knowledge on music too not just basketball
Turning Ja into short Ricky Rubio vs Dame as Markelle with no defense was the nastiest of the battles lol.
And would Giannis be in young Udonis body or current Udonis? If current then that's just unfair lol.
Don look athletic asf 😂
this episode was goated
This episode was GOLD. Easily my favorite pod
Mo got the old black golfer drip 🔥 🔥🥶🥶🥶🥶
Jokic over Giannis is CRAZY lol I get what he’s saying, but we aren’t in that future yet and we still don’t know what the projection holds for either. But as of now, I have Giannis ranked ahead of Jokic for one main reason, and that’s defensively Giannis has made multiple all-first defensive teams. For whatever shooting woes Giannis has, he clearly makes up for it most games. He’s impactful on both sides, he commands a lot of attention, he literally gets his teammates opens looks, he’s a good playmaker for someone of his play style etc.
You could argue that Jokic is the greatest offensive center ever they are very close all time
@@alid7192nope he isn't, he plays in the worst era ever for the center position playing against undersized or below average centers/pfs everygame
That: "let me tell you something" was personal 😂
