My favorite part of this whole sequence has to be the fact that he purposely kept pace with her to make sure she got out. He could've easily zoomed passed and gotten out sooner considering how much faster Yautjas are compared to us.

This part is an interesting concept. An earthling teaming up with a freakishly strong alien warrior packing technology and weaponry far more advanced than ours to defeat a common enemy. That's like a Navy Seal team 6 operative teaming up with a Baka Pygmy woman to defeat genetically modified pit bulls.

bro this is based on the original AVP comic with Dachande which its what Scar is based on and Machiko Noguchi the only female human to ever join a clan of the Predators which is what Lex is based on from she is supposed to be machiko noguchi this movie stay true somewhat to the original avp comic the only thing different its set in present day the avp comic is set in the future
I think its awesome The TallMan35 to be honest the Predators are more humanoid aliens they can reason and think like us its not impossible for a Predator to team up with a human I dont get why these toxic predator fans always wants the Predator to be a mindless killing beast ? smh I never understand that part when stuff like this adds so much depth and lore into the character thats my humble opinion

The self destruct sequence with a predator's wrist computer is way cooler than the marine's star ship. It's amazing of something that is so small can make a 1 megaton blast and the countdown makes such a unique buzzing sound.
THIS MOVIE IS GREAT.
Along with the first 2 and the last one also has its own thing but this one especially expanded the universe and made it very well its fight scenes are incredible it will have some low points but in general it was incredible to experience those emotions that this movie achieved excellent work thanks to all those who participated in it.

These two really did make a dynamic duo. I was so pissed when scar died. A better would have been scar survives leaves then comes back and meets lex again
this selfdestruct system was much more powerful than the one we saw in the original predator movie...The explosion was strong enough to destroy the entire temple, so hundreds of meters of rock, then it proceeded to also break about 1 kilometer of ice.
In the original movie Dutch survived just by running about 200 meters through the jungle, so the explosion didn't even get through 200 meters of wood and leaves.
Kuroro Luxifer I think the Predator’s can control how large the blast of the wrist bracer is. The Predator in the first movie probably limited the blast to give Dutch time to escape since he was worthy and that it didn’t want ruin the environment

The flashback in this movie showed us a self destruct system that destroyed a civilization, while the predator who hunted Dutch and his men was on a solitary hunt... Also, Just like the predators in the flashback, Scar and his companions were on a hunt against xenomorphs... Since xenomorphs are much more dangerous than humans, they probably bring with them much more powerful self destruct systems when hunting xenomorphs than when they hunt humans (since with xenomorphs they must make sure they completely destroy all of them, given their ability to Multiply tremendously fast, which makes them much harder to contain than humans).
It's a small flot issue, but still true in some real life physics. A bomd is more powerful if its explode in an enclosed environment. Remember why Hitler still alive after boom assassinate at Wolf's Lair camp? Because he's in a wood house with many open windows, which decrease the presure of explosion. In this scene the explosion happen in a pyramid and under the ground, so its like tripple the power
It depends on how powerful they set the bomb, the jungle hunter didn’t have to blow up the entire jungle, just his surroundings and potentially Dutch. Scar had an entire hiv of xenomorphs which is why he set it to blow up the entire temple. I might be wrong though

He is not, he has honor so he respects Lex, for killing his prey. That is the only reason, why Scar spared her life and saved her, spearing the Queen

At 0:59 you can actually see the alien queen, climbing in the distance. So I kind of find it weird how, not only we didn't see Lex and the Predator pass trough her when they where climbing up with the lift, but she also survived the explosion. I can understand how she would be able to do herself out, even tho she should have been crushed by the amount of ice that rumbled down after that explosion, but even then, I can understand she could survive. But Lex and the Predator should've passed her on their way up with the elevator, and she should've died from the explosion. But I guess we wouldn't have had a final battle if that happened.
And never underestimate a queen’s resilience 😂

1:08 did the Alien intentionally attack the shoulder gun? Was it intelligent enough to figure out the gun is a threat? Too bad Scar lost his gun, shots from that would have done big damage to the queen.
Aliens arent dumb. Especially the Alpha. Grid appeared to be very smart. So either, the Alien knew the gun was a threat, so he went after it first, or Grid told them to get rid of the gun first
The aliens function via a telepathic hive mind, however they are also extremely inteligent as individuals and are capable of complex problem solving, hunting strategies as well as making their own decisions if a Queen is not present. The Beserker Predalien (An alien born from a beserk predator) was known to be completely independant of a Queen and would even attack them if it encountered one. That alien was known to specifically Hunt and Attack Predator's ONLY as it had no drive to reproduce in any way and would often spare humans and other life forms it deemed to be not a threat.
They where stupid , why no go with Queen to fight with she , they attacking together
Which is exactly why this scene exists, to make the Queen a viable threat
Aliens are intelligent creatures. They learn like predators do. You gotta make sure you kill them before they learn too much.

@@KALIMAindia I am at an intermediate point, Prey has many incredible things, but its protagonist does not seem plausible to me, do not confuse fiction with plausibility, there are many narrative conveniences in the character of Naru. And the script constantly repeats over and over again the issue of her being underestimated for being a woman, that becomes annoying, and her flat personality doesn't help. Instead of generating a connection with me, it generates a feeling of annoyance, very different from characters like Leona, Alexa Woods, Isabelle, or Ripley. Tough but natural women.

@@darthrevan1818 Wolf is actually not a name, but a status given to Predators. When you you solo a hive and eventually kill a Queen along with it, it's a huge feat among them. After that you get to choose to become a clan leader, or fight solo.

@@obinoscopekenobi9450 That's only when they're hunting, he was there to erase all trace of Xenomorph/Yautja existence and all who knew of them which is why he killed Ray when he saw him. If he had resorted to doing so I figure he would've been let off given the fact the infestation was spreading beyond his control and too many people knew already. The City Hunter was willing to destroy all of Los Angeles when it seemed like he was hanging from certain death.

to be fair, there are elements to scar's character that are quite attractive personality wise, he was respectful, you can trust him and rely on him when your in danger, he's pretty straight forward doesn't have to explain shit. Lex is a badass like the predator, she is also very protective, hot as well. So yes i would ship it.
