Great idea, very environmental friendly! Could you please tell me which glass showcase is that next to the Pax shelf? Thanks in advance!

Thanks. :) it’s also IKEA furniture, it’s two Besta units, but the glass door was a diy add-on. I just ordered the doors from a local glass store and bought the hinges and the magnet pulls in Leroy Merlin, the Portuguese version of “Home Depot”. Hope it helps. Cheers

Antes de mais, gostaria de parabeniza-lo pelo trabalho com a estante. Depois pelo inglês fluido e sem falhas. Encontrei este vídeo por acaso, quando procurava ideias para pintar um banco de jardim. Um bem-haja.

Hi. It's the same process as in the video, just sand the outer finish to create a rougher surface in which the primer can stick. Then it's a matter of applying at least 2 coats of primer and then at least 2 of paint. I don't know what kind of paint you have available, but if you can find some kind of polyurethane reinforced one it will give you extra durability and less chance for the paint to chip. Hope it helps!
