Omg, I didn’t know that baskets would fit at the very bottom of the wardrobes where the door hinges are, I thought this was just a bad design fault, but now I know I can add something to that space “thank you “
What a breath of fresh air, you have doors to conceal the shelves, drawers abd hanging space unlike most modern designs without separate doors. It must be high maintenance to keep a walk-in wardrobe space tidy without any interior doors beside the entrance door to the walk-in wardrobe. Noe - My bad, this is a vidro on wardrobe in a bedroom not a walk-in wardrobe. However, I shall have interior doors to my new walk-in wardrobe, which is accessed via a wide sliding door.
I did this in three bedrooms, like you I had to build them upright as there wasn't enough height. However mine were about half a centimetre too tall for my ceilings, so had to trim the base of six whole cabinets, all the trim etc. My local Ikea regularly sells pax frames in bargain corner. They are boxed, un assembled, presumably customer returns but in perfect condition. They are £10 each. Took several visits but I managed to buy six matching ones for £60. Got a mirror door for £15. If you live close to an Ikea it's worth visiting at least weekly and just biding your time until the right thing comes along.
Laura Bradshaw not just occasionally, they nearly always have multiple packs. You just have to hold out for the size and colour you want. I call in most weeks as I drive past daily.
So glad you did this, I’m stressing over getting a fitted wardrobe because they cost so much but it’s so overwhelming thinking about fitting my own! I think I can do it though 💪🏼💪🏼

In the second small size drawer , the one without the dividers you use for your jewelry, if you buy the silicone/rubbery material dotted shelf/drawer liner, then your stuff won’t be moving around when you open and close that one drawer. I think it’s called the Variera drawer mat in Ikea.

How does the PAX range work? Do I have to make mind what design I want for my whole wardrobe at once or can I buy like a single or double framed wardrobe now and kind of try it out and play with it then gradually add in more wardrobes and shelves until I fill in the entire side of the wall?

At first I was astonished by how much make up she has and how few jewels she has but then I thought that I am on the other side. I can fit my make-up in half a draw but I will need everything else for my jewellery.
I think I paid £900 (give or take a few pounds!) including all the features and lights/delivery etc! On these you have to have handles, but for a while I did manage to open them from the bottom! They don't click open though x

Hi thank you for the video. Can I ask how much space you have at top, as I will have 3cms left at the top with 236cm size, will that he enough to build standing up.
I have about 1cm (if that!) at the top! It was a squeeze but we did it! My advice is to remove carpet underneath if you run out of room - this is what I did, so the wardrobes sit on the floorboards. That saved a few cm :) x
una mccarthy not at all! We fitted them ourselves! Super easy as they just plug in at the wall and you just clip them into the wardrobe with a bracket. No electrician needed :) xxx

Looks fab - we thought about Pax but got a carpenter to build ours in the end and it worked out a lot cheaper than I expected.

The wardrobes come in 50,75,100. Height 200,235. Go on the pax planner

Salma Abdullah no they don’t. The widest wardrobe is 100cm and depth 60cm. The only way to get 300cm wide is to use a multiple of the above.

Salma Abdullah you are really not making sense. As I said, go to the Pax planner as you can design a wardrobe that fits your space and requirements.
