Pretty much sums up everything I have read about this bike. Damn shame cuz it’s one of the best looking nakeds!

Barend mirrors are always worse than stock ones (not in terms of viewing angles) as they take your eyes off the road too much, you need to look down and to the side to use them while stock mirrors are in the viewing angle of the road ahead. Also they make filtering more difficult as they widen your bars so you can't squeeze when you normally can.

Older style bike had decent mud guard’s the reason they get so dirty today is manufacturers don’t bother to give owners that protection

Hi Eddie does the CB1000r feel much faster than the My 09sp?

@4:21 No, it is a design flaw. Before I saw this video It was my prediction that a lack of a full rear fender would cause what you showed, muddy water splashing all over the rear of the motorcycle. I figured that one out at age 14 when I removed the front fender from my first bike and drove on a wet street. Does Honda hire designers who don't ride motorcycles? It should be a requirement.

would you say it's a good beginner bike when you're 44 and don't have to prove anything to anyone anymore?

If its (being dirty) Not the issue with the bike (but where and the condition you have been putting it through) why would you uselessly even mention it in the video?

Well she is a messy girl : D is it me or do most of the triples and fours these days seem to need revving higher to hit the sweet spot : )

It depends what kind of rider you are. I started on a 2018 CBR650F, a year later moved to a 2019 ZX-10r. I'm responsible but also appreciate speed. I didn't die, or whatever all the other big bike gate keepers say. Beginner bike is based on you, not engine displacement.

I recently bought a black edition and really disappointed with it, changed the mirrors to bar end one's has made a difference, suspension is too soft from factory so managed to find a forum with some helpful settings but apparently the best thing to do is change the rear shock 🤔 also in sport or even in user mode with power set to full zero traction and minimal engine braking I'm finding it a bit meh🙄 I feel it's just an over priced commuter bike
