Didn't help at all!!! Didnt' work. My HP still doesn't see the new SSD at all. It will not acknowledge it. just like it is not pluged in, but it is. I've checked it!☹☹☹☹
I did not find it helpfull. I just finished my new PC built and wanted to install windows 11, but in windows explorer I am not able to find the NVMe M.2 SSD disc (samsung SSD 980) mainframe is Gygabyte B650... PLEASE HELP!
Hi there, thank you for your question! If you tried all the steps I would recommend plugging the SSD into a different slot if your motherboard has multiple SSD slots. Is the SSD showing in your BIOS?
Hi there, thank you for your question! Make sure when you are in the BIOS Make sure to set your SATA configuration as IED and then it should appear after you restart your computer.
Thanks alot , this really helped me much and took me out of trouble on 2 HP G9 Desktops : change BIOS SATA emulation from RAID to AHCI. God bless you for sharing the tips!
At first I've tried entering the drive to extract a PDF document and it gave me: "A device which does not exist was specified" not letting me in. I've opened Disk Management and clicked on Rescan. My problematic drive disappeared entirely. I cannot see it in Disk Management as I cannot see it when I enter My Computer! Is there any way I can get my drive and my stuff inside the drive back or its gone and it needs repair or change?
Hi there, thank you for your question! First check that all cables are securely connected, and if it’s an external drive, try different USB ports and cables. Test the drive on another computer to see if it’s recognized there. I would recommend taking it to a professional to see if they can assist you.
@@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware The laptop was in sleep mode during the night and when I turned it on in the morning the drive came back. Everything is fine now but I would like to know what caused this problem?
Hi there, thank you for your question! Your NVME should still show up in BIOS if it isn't it might be an issue with the connection or the drive itself and I would recommend taking it to a professional for further assistance.
Hi, my problem is that the ssd is working fine and showing up everywhere but once i turn off the computer teh turn it back on the ssd is gone and it tells me to reconnect like its not connectedn althought it is connected so how do i fix this please
Hi there, thank you for your question! First check that all physical connections are secure, ensuring the SSD is properly connected to the motherboard. Try different SATA ports or cables if applicable. Update the SSD's firmware and your motherboard's chipset drivers. Enter BIOS and verify the SSD is recognized, enabling AHCI or NVMe as needed and disabling options like "Fast Boot" or "CSM." Disable power management for the SSD through Device Manager and set the hard disk to never turn off in Power Options. Run chkdsk /f /r to check for file system errors, and if possible, test the SSD on another computer. If the issue persists, it could indicate a hardware fault with the SSD or the motherboard's controller.
Hi there, thank you for your question! I would recommend entering the BIOS and checking if the SSD appears, if it doesn't it might be an issue with the SSD itself And I would recommend taking it to a professional for further assistance.
I’m trying to add a Samsung 850 EVO SSD with my current Windows HDD. When both the HDD and SSD are connected my monitor shows "No Signal" and stays on a black screen even after waiting 10-15 minutes Booting with just the HDD works fine
Hi there, thank you for your question! First i recommend trying to update your motherboard BIOS and confirm both drives are detected in the BIOS, setting the HDD as the first boot device. Test the SSD by booting with it alone, and try connecting it to a different SATA port to rule out hardware faults. Perform a CMOS reset by removing the battery or using the reset jumper to clear potential misconfigurations. If the problem persists, use a SATA-to-USB adapter to test the SSD externally and verify driver conflicts in Device Manager.
@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware Hi, I just wanted to mention a few things before trying the steps to see if it’s even worth it. I can’t enter BIOS when the SSD is connected to see if it is even detected because the screen just stays black with no signal. I also have an older PSU (Sempre 700W, model BD-701CTP12-E), and the SSD doesn’t seem to get warm at all when the PC starts, even after waiting for a while. Do you think these things could be the problem, or should I still try your steps? Thanks!

I think my phone detected the hard drive and not the Windows 11 computer I have. On my phone, it said that because the it does not support the type of SSD I have inserted with the enclosure, I need to format it. Does this mean thay once I do, I can use it?
Hi there, thank you for your question! Are you referring to inserting a NVME/SSD in your computer?I would recommend making sure the SSD is in the correct format when plugged in you should be able to see it appear disk management and make sure its set to NTFS.
It's a SATA SSD. It's not showing up on my Windows 11 after having inserted it in an SSK enclosure that I recenly bought. On my android phone, it says that it's not supported and that I need to format to use it.

Hi there, thank you for your question! First verify that your M.2 SSD type is supported by your motherboard and the specific M.2 slot you're using. On some motherboards, specific M.2 slots may need to be enabled or set up correctly in the BIOS so try go to boot Options or Storage Configuration sections and look for settings like PCIe mode (set to Auto or NVMe). If that doesn't work I would recommend trying on a different computer or taking it to a professional for further assistance.
