    5:03 People will be talking about the set from Takahashi but my respect goes to Sekita! Very gutsy without hesitation to go head on with the opponent. His blocks and jumps amazes me so much.

    Japan Men's Volleyball Team is very inspiring to watch. Yuji Nishida's accuracy as an Opposite is very outstanding especially he's still working on getting his full composure back after the injury. Congrats Japan! Keep the fire burning!

      What injury did he sustain? It did look like he was pulling his punches a little out of caution. Whatever injury it is, I hope it doesn't affect his athleticism. But that is the thing with athleticism, it is amazing to have and watch, but it comes at a high price of incurring injuries. The more athletic an individual is, the more injury prone they become because of the nature of the constant high performance.

      @@atkiino849 Ahh thanks for the info. Glad it wasn't worse. I was thinking ACL/MCL related injuries or achilles tendon. Those are the more devastating injuries, especially for a high flying jumpers type or explosive athletes. Those injuries are career ending if not career changing at the very least.

      @@user-ot2nh8qb7d nishida doesn't have a good landing after spiking and his right foot is always taking the pressure. Its also the reason why he got injured in the first place. If he doesn't fix that then he's most likely gonna suffer from a torn acl in the future like u said

    Too much hype on Nishida where in fact Shimizu has also done a great job playing opposite. So sad that he's not given the credits he deserves. Everytime I surf the comment section in Japans Game all I see is "Wheres Nishida?" "What happened to Nishida?" "When will Nishida be able to play again?". I mean no hate on Nishida he's great I know that. But Shimizu despite his age, has put up a very well job done for Japan. Ganbatte Shimizu san and Japan

      @@oliverthecat2121 Yes they are. But recently, Shimizu wasnt getting the attention he deserves on putting up a splendid performance. I guess people admires Nishida more for his vert and power than Shimizus ability and game sense.

      Shimizu was the only guy scoring for Japan for years, I always liked him.
      Nishida comes at a time when half of the Japan fans are haikyuu weebs so the team(and him) gets more attention.

      @@jyfelisilda8194 That. Reminds me of time when Kurek was fighting for the spot as an outside with Winiarski, because he jumped higher. Nobody cared he had 0 experience as receiver or that Winiarski had amazing positional awareness, what mattered was "me hit harder".
      No hate on Nishida, he's amazing and will be one of the greatest in couple years, just don't hype him so hard weebs

    We love Nishida. YES! but why is nobody not talking about HOW YAMAUCHI IS IMPROVING. his serves now are WAAAYYY LOADED making a floater hard to receive and his composure rose up already. see how he approaches the spikes now. no more power tips unless neeeded

    Yuji makes a huge difference the Japanese team's play. This is the proof. Bulgaria is historically one of the best teams in the world. In particular, they were on par with the Mighty Soviet Team in the 1970-80s!

But I did not know that the Bulgarian government is failing their athletes! Bulgaria is used to be a superpower in weightlifting, wrestling, artistic gymnastics, men's volleyball, and athletics (e.g., Kostadinova and Donkova and others). So sad that they have fallen so much!
