Yes! The concept was good but handled so poorly! I know it's an old game, but they really should've all and any problems with this mini-game in the remaster. I don't know what the hell they were smoking when they thought this mini-game being mandatory thing the player has to do in order to progress was a good idea. Especially with the chances of the player getting the bad scenario of the Luca F%^&ers winning are so ridiculously high. It's the like as though game were made by the Luca Goers! It pisses me off. I just started playing this game recently, I find that I can't progress any further without losing to those a--holes!
PJC92 I just bought this to replay it and I can’t beat it either. I agree, it should have been a side optional thing instead of part of the actual game. I feel that if this scene was played out and you had the chance to press a button and see the shots, or something similar, you know action only, it would have enticed more people to like it more
same here, just got the game for $8 thanks to black friday but i feel like cracking the disc, fk this mini game I want to fkn beat it.... if I end up cracking the disc i won't feel bad, it was $8 what makes it worse is the unskippable cutscene. Edit: I finally beat it after 2-3 hours, most of that time was them cutscenes, fk this mini game and the person who made it xD wouldn't be so bad if you could skip cutscenes....

Squaresoft released one of the best RPG sport game in 2001 called Blitzball, too bad I had to play an entire set of minigames called Final Fantasy X first in the first 3 hours before the Blitzball game shows up.
Seriously, the worst mini game in video game history. One of the Goers players managed to score from the left side of the court. I thought maybe i was just too young to understand it back in the day, but now that I'm older I've realized its just a horrible, rage inducing nightmare.

To save everybody a lot of time, the strategy is to use Tidus's Jecht Shot to get a point ahead right before half time so that the Luca Goers have no time to score, then hold onto the ball by staying in your own goal zone.
You know I think people would have loved Blitzball if it wasn’t for this game alone... why on Earth they decided to make your first game the hardest and most stressful one you can go through to win I have no idea.

I've been playing this game for a decade, prayed with Wakka twice for good measure and learned the Jecht Shot and I still always lose my first try. I can't wrap my head around why someone with 9 attack can break someone with 10 endurance and only take 3 points off.
I never beat them on the ps2. Attempted when the game first came out, then when I was a teenager, then again a few years ago. Recently got the HD remake and wanted to play the game again, because we're quarantined in Ohio, and won first try.
Didn't work for me at first. But after a bit of rage and replays it worked xD At one point the darn game halftimed in the middle of my Jecht shot. T^T But anyway thanks! Helped a bunch!
The game wouldn't be so bad.. If the game wasn't rigged to favor the opponent in every single way (higher stats on all characters) and sometimes even fucking cheats, I've multiple times counted a Pass should go through, but the game decides to just give 0 fucks. It's is by far the worst minigame ever made, and why does the opponent ALWAYS start with the ball?
I will never play Blitzball again. I wanted the Strength Sphere and had to restart the game 3 times... finally got it 1-0 (Wakka) and I have the Jecht Shot for Tidus. Fucking RNG. After that, I said fuck it, its now or never, I'm going for all... I'm going for the *Jupiter Sigil*. Considering that I had Blitz Ace before Luca!!! and some gil... now I have a ''master save data'' after Chocobo Eater to have all of the nice beginning of the game goodies (since there is no NG+)... and all Wakka's Overdrives!! (for a NG now I can just get to Chocobo Eater in a few hours, reset and open this beast mater save data). Well I got the Jupiter Sigil last night in 26 matches lol. Since its the beginning of the game, abuse the Reset Team Data and its easy as pie if you have like 35,000gil to recruit some Luca locals + Ropp. Abuse the Jecht Shot and recruit Wedge. In all I got over 100 Goals to 1 :) and I'm not even good at Blitzball, or was... still don't like it. You must have a total of 450 random fiend battles and win *all Wakka's overdrives* to see the Jupiter Sigil appear, just saiyan bc I see comments with people playing Blitzball for 200 matches (fuck!)... and no luck to even see the Status Reels or Auroch Reels. After all is done you will end up OP as fuck with both Valefor's Overdirves doing 9,999!! before you even speak to Seymur. 26+1 mandatory... blitzoff NEVER AGAIN yeah!!
These guys are so powerful, you have to be extremely strong to be able to throw a ball underwater at this velocity. If someone can throw a ball that hard underwater, then a person with that level of strength should be able to pitch a baseball at 1,000 miles per hour.
I've played this minigame so much that I usually score 4 goals in this match everytime. Last time I remember it was 4-1. I scored 3 from Tidus, 2 in the first half with normal shots and 1 in the second half with the Jecht Shot. Then 1 more with Wakka and his Venom Shot
Abus only has 3 AT. You can always break through him with Jassu or Tidus. Just push left (or bottom, depending on how you look at it) and you can win this 2-1. Also push just past half court with Jassu, when the defender moves up you can pass to Tidus for an open shot.
It's actually really easy. Get the ball, move forward on the south side until the enemy defenders start moving towards you, pass to Tidus after defenders are almost caught up/Tidus is moving to center, and shoot an open goal with maybe 1 defender that you can break to.
I'm playing this on the Vita for the first time and I really didn't feel like doing a mini game. Damn, I didn't think people hated the shit out of this.
well somehow I couldn't get behind the goalie fast enough and goers caught me in a 3 way managed to pass around a few times and right when 1 second before the score time was up lolz. Perfect guide
Followed this strategy to a T all the way up until the shot with tidus, then it all fell apart. 3 players were there and the goalie blocked the shot :/ then waka came out and pretty much everything changed I thought I'd go similar to how the game went after scoring the first point lol nope. First thing they do is break through 3 blockers and shoot at the goal. Thanks for the help though at least you got me this far without loosing a point.
This's how it happened to me as well - except my team literally turned around and let Bickson or whoever score. Literally just swam off while the guy with decent shot is sitting on top of the goal, and LET HIM SCORE. The amount of rage created by this single Blitzball game (mind you, I like the actual Blitzball game after this, just not *this match*) has stopped me from playing the remaster for the moment. I just can't bring myself to lose this game, and so it's just sitting there waiting for me to try again...and again...and again.
Finally beat them!!!! After 4 restarts, it was so frustrating. I didn't really follow these tips, what I did was try to lure some opp back esp from teammates who have high sa, then get them to a 1on1 close to the goal and breakthrough then shoot. Make sure to use jechts shot then wakkas special 2 that's almost guaranteed 2 pts then just stall by dribbling
The only FF's great minigames are Celes' Opera (FF6), Jumping in Gym, Highway Truck Defending, Troop Marching, Slapfest (FF7), Train Derailing, Garden's Aerial Fistfight, Saving Rinoa in space (FF8). Most of FF9's minigame are ok IMO
ive tried it not gonna happen they wil simply swim into the goal and take the ball but most of the time at game start ball goes to them and they score instantly and theres absolutely nothing u can do to stop them even if my stat is better and i should keep the ball ro score it goes to 0 and i loos it and they pretty much 90% of the time keep the ball even when they shouldnt cant say ive seen a more broken game in my life honestly lol
I wish this actually worked i tried it and buddy boy there just followed me to the spot by the goal messed everything up then they scored the quickest goal on me ive ever had
Fun fact: if you're in the middle of performing the Jecht shot in the 2nd half, but the timer hits the Wakka trigger event, it completely cancels the shot. Great design devs; this is clearly a well-made part of the game.
Yeah, they should've made it so you could use the Jecht Shot in the first half too. Especially for the remaster after the numerous complaints about there not being enough time to use the Jecht Shot. That would've made things a tad bit more convenient. But alas, game devs (except Nintendo, but only when it comes to Zelda remakes) naturally hate conveniency for some reason.
I worked so hard just to see what happens when I beat them... After I saw the cut scene... I was like... "I tried so hard and got so far But in the end it doesn't even matter"
I remember beating those goers in the story mode match and boy the jecht Shot made them really mad...like one goal and they suddnly go on the offensive and try to rush but in one spectacular moment I end the match with Wakka doing the finishing goal and got a 2-0 lead. So after all that they entire goer fan base is dumbfounded on how we won and not the fiend attack. Plus an old lady was mad... hehe.
this doesnt work anymore. this mini game is an enigma to me really. half the people online say its extremely easy and the other half say its impossible. im in the impossible corner. no matter how hard I try I cannot get a win. its frustrating as fuck and I just dont get it
Josh Hill what do you mean rush back to my goal? on defense you literally can’t do anything and have to chalk it up to luck. and hiding in your goal on offense doesn’t work. they rush me every time. i was trying for like 5 hours to do it and i couldn’t do it
you just get the ball and pass with tidus once to get lv 3 so you can use jecht shot. then you use jecht shot to score a goal and then get the ball and hide in your goaltender
iT WORKED, lol I scored with Wakka though, Stood behind the Golie and won, plus you can do this method to get Wakka's ultimate weapon NO? This is my first play through of this classic, but I already know i'm not getting lulu weapon because I'm not dodging 200 lighting bolts.
12 year old me couldn't beat this. The current me can 😝 I would always pass to Jassu, hug wall, go towards enemy goal, engage Basu and pass to Tidus, then shoot
In my second game in FFX I leveled Tidus to lvl 99 in Blitzball. Hell I was about to reach 100 lol. Also theres a far far easier snd not so boring way to win the game. Play in Manual, advance with Letty through their sides (Albus and Bickson have slow attack), bait their deffender(s) so Tidus or Datto stay alone against the keeper. Careful not to bring attention to Graav or the second deffender. With all that + some luck while deffending, you should win easily every blitz game (except Albed Psyches, early game are practically unbeatable with Nimrock, also best deffenders in the game. My first game against them at least was a draw ).
i hate the albhed psches during early matches speedy buggers good for techs though. ronsos are good to play pass around with and let take some shots. gaurdo are a pain. and every luca and kilika beasts matchhes are easy after this match
this game doesn't want me to win. finally scored a goal. hid till walker came out. oh no the goers get the ball first. then when my players got the ball back I tried to hide but a player followed me behind keeper got the ball passed and scored. ended with a tie 😤 I give up. They made it too hard. as soon as the goers get the ball it's hard to get back
Yes, I won 3/0,in the first half, continue to pass the ball to the near player and then to Tidus, when the Goers try to block you, try to pass the Goers, by selecting one of them, when you pass or try to score.
Literally thought I wouldn't progress in the game when you lose blitzball. I would not have given a shit if I knew from the beginning it was basically optional.
If you get lucky and get the ball at the beginning its easy peasy, but if the Luca Goers gets it you are pretty much screwed as the Goers are most likely gonna score because the Aurochs are just plain terrible.
Yeah, the Aurochs were basically like how the Mighty Ducks were in the beginning the first Mighty Ducks movie until they got a new kid and then suddenly got better. While the Goers are like the rival team of the third Mighty Ducks movie. They've crushed the protagonist team, even when they were good.
I wouldn't hate this mandatory blitzball game if the developers didn't make all your team mates suck. They have no abilities and their stats are almost half than the Goers. Don't have the Jecht shot? Ha, fucking good luck. I had to try this like 3 times in a row because all 7 times i beat this game i never won blitzball; until now. Fuck.
hahaureadmyname Basically pass without being on defense for the first half, and Do Not Let Them Get The Ball (turtle behind goalie). If you passed a sufficient amount of time Titus should be level 3 which will allow him to set and use the Jecht shot (provided you learned it on the ship before coming to Luca) during halftime. Make all your player mark a blue highlighted skill before halftime ends. Lastly you need to make at least 1 goal which the Jecht shot helps a lot with. After that I guess you can turtle again with Wakka.
i generally end up winning 2-1, pass the ball around first half for exp all players, take the jecht shot, and then try get a techcopy, they score wakka comes in pass the ball whilst trying to move wakka up the field and let him shot near the goal nice fit for his "last match" before you can recruit him at end game lol
1. Get manual A by press triangle right away when you get the ball. 2. You start with the ball. Run back to your goal. Enemies will follow you. Press square BEFORE they reach you. 3. Pass it to your next defender. 4. let him pull your enemies to him, run to either below or above your goal. (south-east or north-east corner) 5. Press square BEFORE they reach you and pass it to tidus. Tidus should have only one defender(on his side) to overcome. 6. Run to the enemy goal as close as possible. Press square BEFORE the second defender reach you. Break through with your endurance. (9atk vs 10 en) And hope you can break it. 7. Shoot. 1-0. 8. Repeat when you get the ball. Always try to pull enemies away from your attackers. 1.2 : Get jecht shot. Do the same strategy with tidus, this time its easier since jecht shot removes 2 defender. Repeat. 1.3: Do the same strategy with wakka. My end: 3-1 for me. (1-1 first half, 2-0 second half: 1 Tidus jecht shot, 1 Wakka poison shot)
I didn't win by exploiting the game and sitting behind the goalie. I got EXTREMELY lucky in overtime with a venom shot by Wakka. Seriously, I won through the skill of my players and a ton of luck. A ton isn't really descriptive enough... so much luck that I may have used the world's supply of luck? Sure, lets go with that. They got one point, then later Tidus got 1 point using Blitzshot or whatever, tied score. Overtime. I was using manual control and got wakka close to the goal. Unfortunately there were 3 people in the way, 4 with the goalie. I used venom shot, 1 person blocked it, it flew there. The goal number went below the catch number... but went through anyway, getting me the one point I needed in overtime. I SWEAR I AM NOT JOKING!

I just started replaying this game a few days ago, so I had to relearn how to play Blitzball. The thing is you can do everything this youtuber did, but still lose. It all comes down to luck and knowing what to do. Yeah, I hated when they'd block your way. I swear the Luca Goers are on steroids, lol. It's not fair for them to be this good. xD Blitzball is easier and fun once you get a better team.
Damn, I think I am getting a bit addicted to it, Just like I was with Gwent in Witcher 3 Lol. Reached Tidus to Lv20 now. And all my players learned many new awesome techniques. I can win all matches with ease now without resorting to any tricks. Almost won the tournament, but Psycho something team was way OP.
There's nothing wrong with getting addicted to it. It sounds like you're becoming a pro at blitzball! I only play enough to get Wakka's overdrives and celestial weapon, then after that I'm done. I remember there was a time I never bothered with it, because I didn't understand how to play. The Al bhed Psyches, right? I hate that team too!

I only beat it once on the ps4. On the ps2 i put gameshark codes is so all my team were at level 99 with a boatload of stats. It felt good getting 35 goals against the other team while they were swimming with their thumbs up their a$$
Before the event there is a mini movie where Tidus is remembering Jechts words. As the words appear you have to move the stick or d pad in that direction. If you remove most by end he learns the shot
And of course, they show the buttons to press but instead of putting fucking buttons on the screen they put sentences... and of course, I assume its broken because the button never appeared... and ofcourse, I need the shot to win this broken ass minigame. Really frustrating aspect of the game for a first time final fantasy player here.
Nothing beats Blitzball in sport eh, 5 vs 5 a total of 10 players and then there is the blue and dark colors to finish with. The ability tree and blitzball made Final Fantasy 10 real nice future worthy and proves the saga career has much to do as a smart series up until the tenth entrance in honest opinion. More of a contender than given credit toward, and Tidus can pan out just fine it is rare times when it is not sure his demand that there might be a reticent of a feel with the character but other wise is just normal.

I resorted to looking for help online when I even botched the fucking Jecht Shot. Seriously doesn't matter what's gonna happen with him later in the story, I'm always going to associate Jecht with this shitty ass bullshit part of the game. Fucking triggered.

How sad is that? All you have to do is cast a Reflect spell on the final boss and just attack him

Do you have to keep passing until the defence draw to the centre and try and get Tidus up near their goal at the same time?
I tried a few times and failed. My winning match was so intense the score ended up being 3-2

Abus only has 3 AT. You can always break through him with Jassu or Tidus. Just push left (or bottom, depending on how you look at it) and you can win this 2-1. Also push just past half court with Jassu, when the defender moves up you can pass to Tidus for an open shot.
It's actually really easy. Get the ball, move forward on the south side until the enemy defenders start moving towards you, pass to Tidus after defenders are almost caught up/Tidus is moving to center, and shoot an open goal with maybe 1 defender that you can break to.
I'm playing this on the Vita for the first time and I really didn't feel like doing a mini game. Damn, I didn't think people hated the shit out of this.
Because it's unfair. How the world are all Blitzball players extremely better than you? These are just excuses to make the game freaking hard
well somehow I couldn't get behind the goalie fast enough and goers caught me in a 3 way managed to pass around a few times and right when 1 second before the score time was up lolz.

Followed this strategy to a T all the way up until the shot with tidus, then it all fell apart. 3 players were there and the goalie blocked the shot :/ then waka came out and pretty much everything changed I thought I'd go similar to how the game went after scoring the first point lol nope. First thing they do is break through 3 blockers and shoot at the goal.

This's how it happened to me as well - except my team literally turned around and let Bickson or whoever score. Literally just swam off while the guy with decent shot is sitting on top of the goal, and LET HIM SCORE. The amount of rage created by this single Blitzball game (mind you, I like the actual Blitzball game after this, just not *this match*) has stopped me from playing the remaster for the moment. I just can't bring myself to lose this game, and so it's just sitting there waiting for me to try again...and again...and again.
Finally beat them!!!! After 4 restarts, it was so frustrating. I didn't really follow these tips, what I did was try to lure some opp back esp from teammates who have high sa, then get them to a 1on1 close to the goal and breakthrough then shoot. Make sure to use jechts shot then wakkas special 2 that's almost guaranteed 2 pts then just stall by dribbling
The only FF's great minigames are Celes' Opera (FF6), Jumping in Gym, Highway Truck Defending, Troop Marching, Slapfest (FF7), Train Derailing, Garden's Aerial Fistfight, Saving Rinoa in space (FF8). Most of FF9's minigame are ok IMO
ive tried it not gonna happen they wil simply swim into the goal and take the ball but most of the time at game start ball goes to them and they score instantly and theres absolutely nothing u can do to stop them
even if my stat is better and i should keep the ball ro score it goes to 0 and i loos it and they pretty much 90% of the time keep the ball even when they shouldnt cant say ive seen a more broken game in my life honestly lol
I wish this actually worked i tried it and buddy boy there just followed me to the spot by the goal messed everything up then they scored the quickest goal on me ive ever had
Fun fact: if you're in the middle of performing the Jecht shot in the 2nd half, but the timer hits the Wakka trigger event, it completely cancels the shot. Great design devs; this is clearly a well-made part of the game.
Yeah, they should've made it so you could use the Jecht Shot in the first half too. Especially for the remaster after the numerous complaints about there not being enough time to use the Jecht Shot. That would've made things a tad bit more convenient. But alas, game devs (except Nintendo, but only when it comes to Zelda remakes) naturally hate conveniency for some reason.

I remember when I beat the game 1-0, and now I can't beat it, because my team sucks
I remember beating those goers in the story mode match and boy the jecht Shot made them really mad...like one goal and they suddnly go on the offensive and try to rush but in one spectacular moment I end the match with Wakka doing the finishing goal and got a 2-0 lead. So after all that they entire goer fan base is dumbfounded on how we won and not the fiend attack. Plus an old lady was mad... hehe.
Rarely works because of the randomness factor (10-10=5 according to blitzball) I couldn't get it to work
this doesnt work anymore. this mini game is an enigma to me really. half the people online say its extremely easy and the other half say its impossible. im in the impossible corner. no matter how hard I try I cannot get a win. its frustrating as fuck and I just dont get it

Josh Hill what do you mean rush back to my goal? on defense you literally can’t do anything and have to chalk it up to luck. and hiding in your goal on offense doesn’t work. they rush me every time. i was trying for like 5 hours to do it and i couldn’t do it
you just get the ball and pass with tidus once to get lv 3 so you can use jecht shot. then you use jecht shot to score a goal and then get the ball and hide in your goaltender
I got the jecht shot and still just beat it with Wakka. I never got a chance to use it lol but the cheese goalie helped
iT WORKED, lol I scored with Wakka though, Stood behind the Golie and won, plus you can do this method to get Wakka's ultimate weapon NO? This is my first play through of this classic, but I already know i'm not getting lulu weapon because I'm not dodging 200 lighting bolts.

I would always pass to Jassu, hug wall, go towards enemy goal, engage Basu and pass to Tidus, then shoot

In my second game in FFX I leveled Tidus to lvl 99 in Blitzball. Hell I was about to reach 100 lol.
Also theres a far far easier snd not so boring way to win the game. Play in Manual, advance with Letty through their sides (Albus and Bickson have slow attack), bait their deffender(s) so Tidus or Datto stay alone against the keeper. Careful not to bring attention to Graav or the second deffender. With all that + some luck while deffending, you should win easily every blitz game (except Albed Psyches, early game are practically unbeatable with Nimrock, also best deffenders in the game. My first game against them at least was a draw ).
Yea. This is the way to beat that team the first time around. Only time I ever needed to do this as I can beat teams normally.
i hate the albhed psches during early matches speedy buggers good for techs though.

this game doesn't want me to win. finally scored a goal. hid till walker came out. oh no the goers get the ball first. then when my players got the ball back I tried to hide but a player followed me behind keeper got the ball passed and scored. ended with a tie 😤 I give up. They made it too hard. as soon as the goers get the ball it's hard to get back

Yes, I won 3/0,in the first half, continue to pass the ball to the near player and then to Tidus, when the Goers try to block you, try to pass the Goers, by selecting one of them, when you pass or try to score.

Literally thought I wouldn't progress in the game when you lose blitzball. I would not have given a shit if I knew from the beginning it was basically optional.
If you get lucky and get the ball at the beginning its easy peasy, but if the Luca Goers gets it you are pretty much screwed as the Goers are most likely gonna score because the Aurochs are just plain terrible.
Yeah, the Aurochs were basically like how the Mighty Ducks were in the beginning the first Mighty Ducks movie until they got a new kid and then suddenly got better. While the Goers are like the rival team of the third Mighty Ducks movie. They've crushed the protagonist team, even when they were good.

I wouldn't hate this mandatory blitzball game if the developers didn't make all your team mates suck. They have no abilities and their stats are almost half than the Goers. Don't have the Jecht shot? Ha, fucking good luck. I had to try this like 3 times in a row because all 7 times i beat this game i never won blitzball; until now. Fuck.

hahaureadmyname Basically pass without being on defense for the first half, and Do Not Let Them Get The Ball (turtle behind goalie). If you passed a sufficient amount of time Titus should be level 3 which will allow him to set and use the Jecht shot (provided you learned it on the ship before coming to Luca) during halftime. Make all your player mark a blue highlighted skill before halftime ends. Lastly you need to make at least 1 goal which the Jecht shot helps a lot with. After that I guess you can turtle again with Wakka.

i generally end up winning 2-1, pass the ball around first half for exp all players, take the jecht shot, and then try get a techcopy, they score wakka comes in pass the ball whilst trying to move wakka up the field and let him shot near the goal nice fit for his "last match" before you can recruit him at end game lol

gotta luv it when u start the second phase of the match and the game decides to give the ball to the other team
1. Get manual A by press triangle right away when you get the ball.
2. You start with the ball. Run back to your goal. Enemies will follow you. Press square BEFORE they reach you.
3. Pass it to your next defender.
4. let him pull your enemies to him, run to either below or above your goal. (south-east or north-east corner)
5. Press square BEFORE they reach you and pass it to tidus. Tidus should have only one defender(on his side) to overcome.
6. Run to the enemy goal as close as possible. Press square BEFORE the second defender reach you. Break through with your endurance. (9atk vs 10 en) And hope you can break it.
7. Shoot. 1-0.
8. Repeat when you get the ball. Always try to pull enemies away from your attackers.
1.2 : Get jecht shot. Do the same strategy with tidus, this time its easier since jecht shot removes 2 defender. Repeat.
1.3: Do the same strategy with wakka.
My end: 3-1 for me. (1-1 first half, 2-0 second half: 1 Tidus jecht shot, 1 Wakka poison shot)
I didn't win by exploiting the game and sitting behind the goalie. I got EXTREMELY lucky in overtime with a venom shot by Wakka. Seriously, I won through the skill of my players and a ton of luck. A ton isn't really descriptive enough... so much luck that I may have used the world's supply of luck? Sure, lets go with that. They got one point, then later Tidus got 1 point using Blitzshot or whatever, tied score. Overtime. I was using manual control and got wakka close to the goal. Unfortunately there were 3 people in the way, 4 with the goalie. I used venom shot, 1 person blocked it, it flew there. The goal number went below the catch number... but went through anyway, getting me the one point I needed in overtime. I SWEAR I AM NOT JOKING!

But man, my team's stats sucks big time! Also, I find it funny when you are near the goal and 4 try to block your way xD.

I just started replaying this game a few days ago, so I had to relearn how to play Blitzball. The thing is you can do everything this youtuber did, but still lose. It all comes down to luck and knowing what to do. Yeah, I hated when they'd block your way. I swear the Luca Goers are on steroids, lol. It's not fair for them to be this good. xD Blitzball is easier and fun once you get a better team.
Damn, I think I am getting a bit addicted to it, Just like I was with Gwent in Witcher 3 Lol. Reached Tidus to Lv20 now. And all my players learned many new awesome techniques. I can win all matches with ease now without resorting to any tricks. Almost won the tournament, but Psycho something team was way OP.
There's nothing wrong with getting addicted to it. It sounds like you're becoming a pro at blitzball! I only play enough to get Wakka's overdrives and celestial weapon, then after that I'm done. I remember there was a time I never bothered with it, because I didn't understand how to play. The Al bhed Psyches, right? I hate that team too!

I only beat it once on the ps4. On the ps2 i put gameshark codes is so all my team were at level 99 with a boatload of stats. It felt good getting 35 goals against the other team while they were swimming with their thumbs up their a$$

Before the event there is a mini movie where Tidus is remembering Jechts words. As the words appear you have to move the stick or d pad in that direction. If you remove most by end he learns the shot
And of course, they show the buttons to press but instead of putting fucking buttons on the screen they put sentences... and of course, I assume its broken because the button never appeared... and ofcourse, I need the shot to win this broken ass minigame.

Nothing beats Blitzball in sport eh, 5 vs 5 a total of 10 players and then there is the blue and dark colors to finish with. The ability tree and blitzball made Final Fantasy 10 real nice future worthy and proves the saga career has much to do as a smart series up until the tenth entrance in honest opinion. More of a contender than given credit toward, and Tidus can pan out just fine it is rare times when it is not sure his demand that there might be a reticent of a feel with the character but other wise is just normal.
Plus there is 5 minutes of time for each round there is 2 rounds total. Gives a good 10 minutes of play for each match - involved mechanism - cool.
