Her utility more or less makes her a failsafe for many battles specifically to block game losing attacks. Rikku: Rikku is your utility in pretty much most of endgame. While she isn't going to be dealing major damage anytime soon, her coverage means that while she can't block the game ending attacks like Yuna, she makes up for it by making the rest of the game more manageable. Tidus: Secondary Wakka. Like Wakka, he inflicts a lot of damage based on hits with his secondary overdrive, but unlike Wakka, he doesn't hit as often for Slice and Dice. Blitz Ace is pretty useless. Auron: Like Rikku, he's not here for damage, but his main usage is to inflict Full Break. The requirement for his Celestial Weapon is also great as it means that you can more or less game his HP so that he can consistently hit hard regardless of what the enemy has. KImahri: Surprisingly, while he doesn't do much damage, his main draw is utility. To do: * Construct a device to circle the right analog stick very, very fast while not ruining my controller and/or fingers * Modify said device to press □ very, very fast for FF8's Boost ability
Wow i feel like an idiot xD 13years and out of all the times I've played FFX, I've never seen anything other than Tidus's Spiral Cut and Slice & Dice! The other two look so damn awesome!
repetitive..keep using Tidus's overdrives to get a perfect on each one..you get Energy Rain by doing 30 perfects on Slice and Dice, you get BlitzAce but getting 80 perfects.
The Magus Sisters "Delta Attack" always reminds me of Eden from FFVIII Game Dev: "How long should we make the animation?" Producer: "UNNECESSARILY LONG!!!!!"
Wow, you really thought the animation was unnecessary? I mean, to each their own, but I loved that animation. It was probably the best animation in the game really. Plus, wasn't that the animation where they played the song "My Hands?" But...regardless, I loved it. In a matter of fact, I'm playing FFXIII again, because, I miss watching that animation on the television.
Jake Groeblinghoff Not unnecessary in itself just unnecessary long, like the first couple of times it's mind blowing but then it's like Ok....can i get on now....please?......k i'll just go get a coke, brb
Aurons overdrive should come with narration “yep that’s me you might be wondering how I got myself into this situation, it all started out when I died”
Rikku is, in my opinion, the reason they made FFX International. If you use her in the North American version, you basically break the game by never dying AT ALL.
Rikkus overdrives: making a shit ton of grenades, providing buffs on the party, making watered down versions of lulus overdrive. Some with status effects. And supernova
When I play Final Fantasy X, I only use Tidus, Auron, Lulu and Yuna's Overdrive as they were easier to master and better dammage dealt. I failed to collect all blue magic for kihmari and I really hate the spinning wheel of Wakka's overdrive.
fanatykgier her overdrive which is mix matching item is hard for me. Rare item in FFX is very hard to find cause of all hard mini games. That's why I don't like to throw away my items just for creating damage.
If you want to know you can steal most of rare items from regular enemies. Next time I'll play this game again I'm going to make a full list of her mixes :D
To be fair, aside from Yuna, he's the one she known the longest. He was all about genuinely being her friend when she was used to being persecuted for being Al Bhed. In fact I'm not so sure she knew Yuna all that well as Cid and his sister's relationship was not well addressed so its possible Rikku never met her cousin Yuna before meeting up with the party after kidnapping Yuna. Also he was probably the default one targeted.
Nah, they aren't all the same. You'd have to look at a list to know the differences between them since he's not explaining them. If you didn't know though, her overdrive is actually the best in the game if you know how to use it properly.
It always seemed to me as if they intended to add in key items that would change the aeon's ultimate but just left that option die off with just valefor.
Yeah those radial canyons are permanent and hundreds of kilometers long! Wish they had referenced them in FFX-2 because that would be a significant set of land marks.
after watching this...I realized that I should have used Rikku more cause god damn if you know the exact ingredients to make that crazy shit you'll be godlike!

Awesome video! For Anima's overdrive, it always amazes me just hiw much weaker the North American version was compared to the PAL version. The PAL version was one of the strongest attacks in the game (and now for the HD remaster)!
I wish magic scaled into lategame...Lulu is such a unique character
"Seymour's mom has got it goin on, so Seymour cant you see, you're just not the maester for me... because I'm in love with Seymour's moooooom"
To do:
* Construct a device to circle the right analog stick very, very fast while not ruining my controller and/or fingers
* Modify said device to press □ very, very fast for FF8's Boost ability
Wow i feel like an idiot xD 13years and out of all the times I've played FFX, I've never seen anything other than Tidus's Spiral Cut and Slice & Dice! The other two look so damn awesome!
repetitive..keep using Tidus's overdrives to get a perfect on each one..you get Energy Rain by doing 30 perfects on Slice and Dice, you get BlitzAce but getting 80 perfects.
Janice Kirk You don't even need to get perfects. Just using them is enough.
The Magus Sisters "Delta Attack" always reminds me of Eden from FFVIII
Game Dev: "How long should we make the animation?"
Producer: "UNNECESSARILY LONG!!!!!"
Jake Groeblinghoff
Not unnecessary in itself just unnecessary long, like the first couple of times it's mind blowing but then it's like Ok....can i get on now....please?......k i'll just go get a coke, brb
headfirst1987 just change aeons to "short" in config in the menu xD
ok so i love ff10 becuz this battle theme brings back all the feels from when i beat the game
plus ff15 is great for including it in the game
Now just a list of the items you need for all of Rikkus Overdrive would help. That is the only one I still need.
hey um...... you forgot the most badass ronin to walk all of Spira, Yojimbo
I can watch Yuna summoning forever.
Ifrit’s overdrive is so badass 10:31
Never seen Wakka's status or aurochs reel 'cause all I used was attack reels once I got it lol.
Okay, this is BULLSHIT! The title of this video said "all overdrives", and yet I did not see a SINGLE Sunlight Yellow Overdrive!
Where are the steam rollers?! Where are the za warudo's?! But most importantly, WHERE ARE THE MUDA MUDA MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA's?!
Freddy1210 yeah noy really jojo is everything now
JAjjajajjajajaja
I FOUND THE SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIVE! IT'S AT 14:15.
what the fuck is going on with the fanboys of that....anime *JESUS*
Aurons overdrive should come with narration “yep that’s me you might be wondering how I got myself into this situation, it all started out when I died”
Tidus Wakka and Yuna are the best for fighting!
Tidus, Wakka and Rikku is a better setup statistically
Lol, Rikku is way better. You obviously don't know how to use Mix properly.
Rikku is, in my opinion, the reason they made FFX International. If you use her in the North American version, you basically break the game by never dying AT ALL.
I specifically remember getting my sad handed to me by all of the aeons in x-2 with these attacks.
crazy that tidus and wakka deal so much more than everyone else
not counting Aeons ofc
Rikkus overdrives: making a shit ton of grenades, providing buffs on the party, making watered down versions of lulus overdrive. Some with status effects. And supernova
When I play Final Fantasy X, I only use Tidus, Auron, Lulu and Yuna's Overdrive as they were easier to master and better dammage dealt.
I failed to collect all blue magic for kihmari and I really hate the spinning wheel of Wakka's overdrive.
You forgot about Rikku.
fanatykgier her overdrive which is mix matching item is hard for me. Rare item in FFX is very hard to find cause of all hard mini games. That's why I don't like to throw away my items just for creating damage.
If you want to know you can steal most of rare items from regular enemies. Next time I'll play this game again I'm going to make a full list of her mixes :D
Poor you - as Wakka's attack reels is one of most powerful overdrives.
@@mskempinsky5111 yup
All these overdrives and i only have tow overdrives for each charachter🤣
Lulu has the best ones cause you can count down each hit just for fun! LOL
Everyone's talking about how this video is missing Yojimbo, and I can understand that...
But what about Seymour? He has an overdrive.
What about Sin?
...what was seymours?
@@wolfwarrior1176 called requiem. You can only see it once, in the second battle with Sinspawn Gui at operation mihen
@@mindtrait0r879 ....i never noticed
@@wolfwarrior1176 yeah, you have to charge it very slowly by getting hit with demi. Once you eventually get it it's super satisfying
You know rikku wants tidus when she gives him all the power ups!
Still memorize Auron's Banishing Blade because I had to use it so much to farm Fortune Spheres.
d1noang3lo earth eater is immune to all the break moves though
If I remember well I beat Dark Anima with Wakka's spammed Attack Reels only xD
I seriously didnt know that Auron's jug contained achohol. Well, now I know
He's one of my favs, tho.
Alcohol? Man, that junk started a tornado fire. Ol boy sipping on fuel straight up! Lol
Was going through every single level of LuLu's spells really necessary?
As It got closer to lulu I was wondering if he was going to do every single one lol
I was more terrified he was gonna do Rikku's considering she has like 100 things she can make
Yeah me too on the Rikku thing.
Crusty GymSock i was hoping for wakkas every element ball overdrive and they didn't
Yes
How many overdrives do you want?
Rikku: Yes
Final Fantasy X jest najlepszym Final'em, który wyszedł na konsolę PS2.
Zadaje 4 miliony obrażeń Mocne Nova od Kimahri Ronso !
Rikku's = Different names, Same Effects. LOL
Nah, they aren't all the same. You'd have to look at a list to know the differences between them since he's not explaining them. If you didn't know though, her overdrive is actually the best in the game if you know how to use it properly.
*cough* hyper mighty g *cough*
I have a chart of all of the different overdrives for rikku... every single one
1:32 Wakka is so bad he kicks a ball with blades, this is the guy '-'⚽
Wakka is easily the best character in the game.
Strongest Overdrives against Penance: Blitz Ace, Attack Reels, Hyper Mighty G, Tornado, Zanmato, Oblivion, Delta Attack.
It always seemed to me as if they intended to add in key items that would change the aeon's ultimate but just left that option die off with just valefor.
I mean, what could be stronger than Mega Flare for Bahamut?
And Yojimbo doesn't need anything else.
He has Zanmato for Yevon's sake!
It always irritated me that Auron never had an overdrive that could deal multiple attacks.
14:16
*unleashes sick beats*
Wow Rikku has the most overdrive in history, so much that it took 75 % of the video.
It is Th'uban from the Original section in the Monster Arena.
you for got a summoning the samurai guy [Yojimbo Aeon]
Shadow Dragon i was thinking same thing
Shadow Dragon I haven't tried Grand Summoning Yojimbo. I doubt that would automatically result in Zanmato. That would be cheating.
No yojimbo doesn't have a overdrive you see because all of his attacks are special attacks
SwordHMX nope only increases the chance of him doing that the moment you summon him
Conveniently enough, Auron's start at shortcut 7 (press 7 on keyboard when focused on video)
Missing a couple Aeon overdrives there. Kinda sad.
Some weren’t added for a reason
Sometimes i wonder if Wakka got medical insurance with that ultimate weapon of his lol.
Eye candy on a tube tv, good times.
nothing beats sin's overdrive move
Yeah those radial canyons are permanent and hundreds of kilometers long! Wish they had referenced them in FFX-2 because that would be a significant set of land marks.
Tell that to penance 😂
Delta Attack in HD is just jaw dropping
that fire tornado looked awesome
I just noticed how OP Lulu is xD Played the games like 4 Times
OK Wakka and Tidus beat her with sheer numbers
18:32 that must be some powerful stuff
Yes lulu is a boss.
after watching this...I realized that I should have used Rikku more cause god damn if you know the exact ingredients to make that crazy shit you'll be godlike!
