Awesome video! For Anima's overdrive, it always amazes me just hiw much weaker the North American version was compared to the PAL version. The PAL version was one of the strongest attacks in the game (and now for the HD remaster)!
So even though it isnt shown. Each hit of the 16 hit combo for anima's oblivion deals 99,999 dmg each. Meaning that she does a bit over 1.5 million and the magus sisters delta formation. does 5 hits at 99,999 each dealing a bit over 500k. And aurons final overdrive (the tornado) deals 2 hits for 99,999.
Depends on the version, in the original Japanese and US versions it only hit the once. It wasn't changed to 16 hits until the International and Pal versions.
I used to summon Valefor most of the time due to the Energy blast that gives me that power ranger vibes Overkilling the fiends and boss / semi boss battles ,fond memories
Final Fantasy VIII's Limits and Final Fantasy X's Overdrives are awesome because some of them are interactive. If I had been the one to remake Final Fantasy VII (my favorite Final Fantasy), I would have done the same for Limit Breaks.
When I play Final Fantasy X, I only use Tidus, Auron, Lulu and Yuna's Overdrive as they were easier to master and better dammage dealt. I failed to collect all blue magic for kihmari and I really hate the spinning wheel of Wakka's overdrive.
fanatykgier her overdrive which is mix matching item is hard for me. Rare item in FFX is very hard to find cause of all hard mini games. That's why I don't like to throw away my items just for creating damage.
If you want to know you can steal most of rare items from regular enemies. Next time I'll play this game again I'm going to make a full list of her mixes :D
To do: * Construct a device to circle the right analog stick very, very fast while not ruining my controller and/or fingers * Modify said device to press □ very, very fast for FF8's Boost ability
It always seemed to me as if they intended to add in key items that would change the aeon's ultimate but just left that option die off with just valefor.
The Magus Sisters "Delta Attack" always reminds me of Eden from FFVIII Game Dev: "How long should we make the animation?" Producer: "UNNECESSARILY LONG!!!!!"
Wow, you really thought the animation was unnecessary? I mean, to each their own, but I loved that animation. It was probably the best animation in the game really. Plus, wasn't that the animation where they played the song "My Hands?" But...regardless, I loved it. In a matter of fact, I'm playing FFXIII again, because, I miss watching that animation on the television.
Jake Groeblinghoff Not unnecessary in itself just unnecessary long, like the first couple of times it's mind blowing but then it's like Ok....can i get on now....please?......k i'll just go get a coke, brb
Aurons overdrive should come with narration “yep that’s me you might be wondering how I got myself into this situation, it all started out when I died”
Does Lulu's overdrive mean that in theory she's the strongest black mage in the final fantasy universe? Being able to cast something like ultima five times in one turn has to be impressive, right?
We don't know. Maybe if you removed her from Spira and placed her in another world, she'd be the weakest. Remember how pyreflies empower nearly everything in Spira and said pyreflies are OP af and can do nearly every thing (at least the X2.5 novel showed that, no don't read it. It's horrible. Actual garbage). So Lulu's power here is probably not hers... If that makes sense as I suck at explaining things
Rikkus overdrives: making a shit ton of grenades, providing buffs on the party, making watered down versions of lulus overdrive. Some with status effects. And supernova
To be fair, aside from Yuna, he's the one she known the longest. He was all about genuinely being her friend when she was used to being persecuted for being Al Bhed. In fact I'm not so sure she knew Yuna all that well as Cid and his sister's relationship was not well addressed so its possible Rikku never met her cousin Yuna before meeting up with the party after kidnapping Yuna. Also he was probably the default one targeted.
Wow i feel like an idiot xD 13years and out of all the times I've played FFX, I've never seen anything other than Tidus's Spiral Cut and Slice & Dice! The other two look so damn awesome!
repetitive..keep using Tidus's overdrives to get a perfect on each one..you get Energy Rain by doing 30 perfects on Slice and Dice, you get BlitzAce but getting 80 perfects.
Wait, YOU HAVE 20 SECONDS FOR WAKKA’S OVERDRIVES? I always thought it would be like Tidus and Auron and Lulu and I was always too worried to take the time to look.
Rikku is, in my opinion, the reason they made FFX International. If you use her in the North American version, you basically break the game by never dying AT ALL.
I'm pretty sure that the OD gauge + the amount of gil + a "random" factor (zanmato level, between 1 & 5) + another thing that i forgot define the zanmato's prob to happen. Oh, and he can use it just when he is summoned, randomly. So yes, full OD increases the chances

@@wolfwarrior1176 yeah, you have to charge it very slowly by getting hit with demi. Once you eventually get it it's super satisfying
@@nekogod yeah. Made most overdrives kinda useless once you could hit the dmg cap with a basic hit.
Eh, the Remake Limit Breaks we got were plenty awesome without interactivity.
All but the 3rd OD for Tidus make him look like a dork.
Talk about overkill lol! poor beast just standing there and getting owned:o
Nah, it has like 3M HP, so it's fine.
Okay, this is BULLSHIT! The title of this video said "all overdrives", and yet I did not see a SINGLE Sunlight Yellow Overdrive!
Where are the steam rollers?! Where are the za warudo's?! But most importantly, WHERE ARE THE MUDA MUDA MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA's?!
Freddy1210 yeah noy really jojo is everything now
JAjjajajjajajaja
I FOUND THE SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIVE! IT'S AT 14:15.
what the fuck is going on with the fanboys of that....anime *JESUS*
Auron Banishing Blade Overdrive's not only can damage an opponent, but it also add Full Break effect.
When I play Final Fantasy X, I only use Tidus, Auron, Lulu and Yuna's Overdrive as they were easier to master and better dammage dealt.
I failed to collect all blue magic for kihmari and I really hate the spinning wheel of Wakka's overdrive.
You forgot about Rikku.
fanatykgier her overdrive which is mix matching item is hard for me. Rare item in FFX is very hard to find cause of all hard mini games. That's why I don't like to throw away my items just for creating damage.
If you want to know you can steal most of rare items from regular enemies. Next time I'll play this game again I'm going to make a full list of her mixes :D
Poor you - as Wakka's attack reels is one of most powerful overdrives.
@@mskempinsky5111 yup
Other characters,: magic, superpowers, badass weapons.
Rikku: just throw anything to the enemy then stab with the knife.
Ifrit’s overdrive is so badass 10:31
lulu be doin the most.
+According2Angel lulu my fav :) and Auron too. and yuna lol
i never really get how u could do max hit for lulu's overdrive...i only able to get 8-9 hits most of the time.
It depends on her magic stat.
ok so i love ff10 becuz this battle theme brings back all the feels from when i beat the game
plus ff15 is great for including it in the game
I can watch Yuna summoning forever.
To do:
* Construct a device to circle the right analog stick very, very fast while not ruining my controller and/or fingers
* Modify said device to press □ very, very fast for FF8's Boost ability
crazy that tidus and wakka deal so much more than everyone else
not counting Aeons ofc
It always seemed to me as if they intended to add in key items that would change the aeon's ultimate but just left that option die off with just valefor.
I mean, what could be stronger than Mega Flare for Bahamut?
And Yojimbo doesn't need anything else.
He has Zanmato for Yevon's sake!
The Magus Sisters "Delta Attack" always reminds me of Eden from FFVIII
Game Dev: "How long should we make the animation?"
Producer: "UNNECESSARILY LONG!!!!!"
Jake Groeblinghoff
Not unnecessary in itself just unnecessary long, like the first couple of times it's mind blowing but then it's like Ok....can i get on now....please?......k i'll just go get a coke, brb
headfirst1987 just change aeons to "short" in config in the menu xD
Now just a list of the items you need for all of Rikkus Overdrive would help. That is the only one I still need.
Forgot one summon.. :(
yojimbo has no overdrive its just money thats why
And Seymour you're idiot!!!!!
Jimbo’s overdrive bar just raises the chances of Zanmato. all his attacks are the same whether he has a full bar or not
14:16
*unleashes sick beats*
"Seymour's mom has got it goin on, so Seymour cant you see, you're just not the maester for me... because I'm in love with Seymour's moooooom"
I love Lulu but what's the point with her Overdrive? To see who can roll/spin the stick faster? Not only that, they do little damage....
And it's just normal magic cast multiple times - they should have given her something else in my opinion.
Actually it's even weaker than normal spell... it just bypasses silence and reflect -_- I will seriously never understand their decision on this OD.
Missing a couple Aeon overdrives there. Kinda sad.
Some weren’t added for a reason
@@SirStrikeFreedom couldn't you just as easily say that none of the mages in ff7 do anything because they use materia
@@josephcole8102 there's a big difference to a natural phenomenon powering you up to an item giving you the ability to do something
Rikkus overdrives: making a shit ton of grenades, providing buffs on the party, making watered down versions of lulus overdrive. Some with status effects. And supernova
I wish magic scaled into lategame...Lulu is such a unique character
You know rikku wants tidus when she gives him all the power ups!
Janice Kirk You don't even need to get perfects. Just using them is enough.
Wait, YOU HAVE 20 SECONDS FOR WAKKA’S OVERDRIVES? I always thought it would be like Tidus and Auron and Lulu and I was always too worried to take the time to look.
At 14:16, does Anima say "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA...ORA!!!" or "MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!!!"
Still memorize Auron's Banishing Blade because I had to use it so much to farm Fortune Spheres.
d1noang3lo earth eater is immune to all the break moves though
I specifically remember getting my sad handed to me by all of the aeons in x-2 with these attacks.
As I remember it's hard to get cindy, sandy, mindy
11:45 I can HEAR the framerate.
How many overdrives do you want?
Rikku: Yes
Tidus Wakka and Yuna are the best for fighting!
Tidus, Wakka and Rikku is a better setup statistically
Lol, Rikku is way better. You obviously don't know how to use Mix properly.
Rikku is, in my opinion, the reason they made FFX International. If you use her in the North American version, you basically break the game by never dying AT ALL.
I can barely get passed 6 when doing any fury overdrive in the hd remaster
I didn’t have repetitive strain injury until I used lulu in final fantasy X now I can barely hold a fork
i might have missed it as was skipping through but didn't see Seymours overdrive "Requiem"
Conveniently enough, Auron's start at shortcut 7 (press 7 on keyboard when focused on video)
I seriously didnt know that Auron's jug contained achohol. Well, now I know
He's one of my favs, tho.
Alcohol? Man, that junk started a tornado fire. Ol boy sipping on fuel straight up! Lol
1:32 Wakka is so bad he kicks a ball with blades, this is the guy '-'⚽
Thank you! But I think you missed Yojimbo.
Wow Rikku has the most overdrive in history, so much that it took 75 % of the video.
Strongest Overdrives against Penance: Blitz Ace, Attack Reels, Hyper Mighty G, Tornado, Zanmato, Oblivion, Delta Attack.
Final Fantasy X jest najlepszym Final'em, który wyszedł na konsolę PS2.
Zadaje 4 miliony obrażeń Mocne Nova od Kimahri Ronso !
Man after all those attacks that thing had to be dead right? RRIIIGGGHHTTT?
Where is summon Yojimbo ? :)
Szoł Tajm he forgot
somewhere in the calm lands
+Szoł Tajm Yojimbo doesn't have an overdrive.
+Mago Gosora People consider Zanmato to be Yojimbo's equivalent. Even if the game doesn't refer to it as an overdrive.
+Mago Gosora The Zanmato is Yojimbo's Overdrive and is even stated as such in the Official Guide.
Wtf how do you even spin the analog stick that fast for Lulu
What happened to yuna's yojimbo
that fire tornado looked awesome
The thing is, Yojimbo's Zanmato is not really an Overdrive since the gauge doesn't need to be full to perform it
Yes it does, it is random, the only way he does zanmato is to be overdrived.
Well, ok, but would it be true if being overdrived just increases the chances of it happening?
I'm pretty sure that the OD gauge + the amount of gil + a "random" factor (zanmato level, between 1 & 5) + another thing that i forgot define the zanmato's prob to happen. Oh, and he can use it just when he is summoned, randomly. So yes, full OD increases the chances
