@@Czah5 I had the same thing with the goron trial in Majora's Mask when you are getting the fierce deity mask. Now in hindsight I feel extremely fortunate I got it within 10 minutes during my first playthrough. Not so much for chocobo catcher. It was summer, I was 11 and it took me 3 days to get it. Probably like 10 hours of uninterrupted chocobo racing. Later on my brother paid me 10 bucks to get in on his save. Good times.
Coming from someone who literally thought I'd never finish the chocobo race with 0 seconds... don't give up.. it took me approx 18 hours or over 500 attempts. I just did it. Thought I'd messed up getting hit by two birds but then saw I got 17 balloons. I was so happy I nearly cried. Took me around 4 hours non stop plus watching guides.
I've seen a bunch of guides where people think resetting data is the only quick way to change the league prizes. That's not true. You can simply restart the game or do a quick reset by holding down start, select, L1, L2, R1 and R2. This trick was in the official guide that I bought when the original game released, so I don't know how it got forgotten by everyone. You can only use this if you haven't played any games in a new league, so just save your game once a league season finishes, go into the Blitzball menu and if you don't like the prizes, use the button combo reset. This works for tournaments too.
I beat this game in 2003 my junior year. Bought the remake and now 20 hours. Just got to Mt Ronso. Man this game brought back so many memories. And I love the grinding! Can’t wait to start on these weapons again!
I never completed it as a lil kid, I just tried to train so that I could beat all the monster arena bosses at calm lands. That took a very long time, playing on and off. As an adult I came back to the game (ffx hd) and completed it without the dark aeons and monster arena. Now, at 3 decades old I return to beat absolutely everything including penance (not there yet tho). Damn, I love this game
I’ve seen this video like a dozen times through all the remakes, thank you so much I’ve had all weapons on ps2, vita, ps3, ps4, and now on my switch OLED
Great video, quick info on Wakka's weapon; Unless it was patched out you can get the Jupiter Sigil and all of Wakka's overdrives in 4-5 leagues by playing blitzball until its ready to reset and quitting out of blitzball straight after the game without seeing the main blitzball menu. At this point save and go back in to blitzball. If the league doesn't have an overdrive or the sigil then quit without saving and try again. It will continually roll the prizes at this point so you can get everything in the least time possible.
I found out that bit of info which was a big towards wakkas sigial. and it's well worth the blitzball grinding. also once I got head round blitzball I pretty much enjoyed playing it
Thank you for the wonderful in-depth guide. Getting everyones celestial weapons is something I've never done, and fully intend to do on my next playthrough. They really don't make games like this anymore.
Thank you for sharing this video. Caladbolg is such an amazing weapon. I’ve only ever had it once (on PS2), where the save corrupted literally the next day, after 750 hours.
It was 2008 - 2009 I last played FF X I was around 15 - 16 years old at that time. I was able to beat the game, but was not able to finish some side quest. I just replayed the game and I'm looking forward to complete the game and getting a platinum trophy. I appreciate for the tips. 😊

In 2002, my high school senior year, a friend let me borrow FFX. I loved it. I believe I got very close to the final boss, but it was very close to the end of the school year and I had to return the game, so I never beat the game.. 22 years later I'm playing the game again in an attempt to complete the story and every step of the way has been a blast. I just reached Remien temple. Anyways, I don't know if i have it in me to acquire all celestial weapons and the game doesn't tell you any of this. If i do attempt to go for it, I'm glad I found this video.

Just to reiterate the time on the balloon race has to be below 0.0. Back when I had this on the PS2 I got a time of 39.0 and 13 balloons for a time of exacly 0.0, it didn't count. There was much fury that day.
Soooo. I quickly blew through Besaid Temple and had to go back. Dark Valefor was waiting for me. I was hopelessly underpowered, but had Yojimbo. Zanmato. Ded.
I HATE that when you want to go back to explore some of the towns now you can't because of these stupid dark Aeons. Fuck that. I wanted to go to Besaid just to chill and BAM was shocked I was annihilated 99999 by this damn Valefor.
Awesome video! Thanks for the effort you put into this video, this is really going to help me get all weapons this time round. I'm playing the remastered version on ps5 now and I first played this on my brother's ps2 back in the day when this game got me so addicted (it's still one of my all time favorite games). Now with your guidance I can finally get every characters weapon!
If you are trying to absolutely break the game. blitzball is the way at the cost of hours of grinding spheres and materials as rewards dark matter, teleport spheres, return spheres, all the most powerful options for weapon and armor customizations are offered as prizes in blitzball.
4:00 (5:00), 6:00 (6:30), (13:00), (16:30 - 17:00), [[18:00]] (19:17), (21:00 - 22:40), 23:00 (24:40) can be acquired before your 1st trip to the top of Mt Gagazet, btw. (No airship required!) Don't be a slacker or stupid; in some cases, this will ruin your game if you don't get the work done early. (3) celestrial weapons can be acquired: Tidus, Yuna, and Kimahri, but traveling back to before Guadosalom is impossible (story reasons, traitor!) or blocked by progression of a questline like "become a hero by clearing your name with a Maester on a holy mountain" and killing a villain for the third time (groan).
If you screw up and miss a destruction sphere just go get Auron's celestial weapon for the first strike, get swap in Yuna and get Yojimbo to Zanmato the dark aeon blocking your path.
--So...from what reviewed on this guide for ultimate/celestial weapons, Wakka, Kimahri, and theoretically, Auron, can have fully powered celestial weapons before the Yunalesca fight. Wakka being the the technical earliest of them all and you can get Attack reels in the process. Basically the character with the best ultimate attack and being the technical earliest to have a fully powered celestial weapon. For Auron I'm not sure if you can back track on foot to fully power his.-- --Tldr: Wakka, Kimahri, and Auron can technically have fully powered ultimate/celestial weapons before the Yunalesca fight. Not sure for Auron though as I don't know if you can't backtrack for him after the second Seymour fight after getting the Rusty Sword. But definitely you can try for Wakka the (technical) earliest and Kimahri as second before Yunalesca.-- --Edit: For Wakka...yeah I just reviewed the video on Wakka. Yeah...needing for him to participate in battles for his ultimate attacks in Blitzball is going to be tedious. But if you have the patience to count each random encounters to up to 450-500 before passing the Mi'hen Highroad, then you're basically guaranteed to on your way to get Wakka fully powered during the Calm Lands section. Kimahri would be the second. Good thing I have the patience since I'm a shiny hunter in Pokemon. That and just in general of knowing what I want.-- --Edit: Nvm. Wakka needs the mirror to get his weapon. So basically Kimahri is technically the earliest for convenience of back tracking back to the forest to power up his Celestial weapon.-- Edit 2/4/2022: Okay so basically you can't get Kimahri's Celestial weapon early enough. After the airship you can try for the sigil appearently. So basically you can't get anyone's ultimate weapon early. Tried back tracking to Luca, but can't pass Guadosalam due to story events at that point. So Farming Dark Yojimbo is the only way to get Dark Matters (easily) if you want to have Limit Break damage gear before Seymour and all the way through Yunalesca. Somehow.

The best way to get wakka sigil is to finish a League then select back. Save game and try to rest for sigil to appear in prizes... If you select continue after league finishes. You will be stuck with prizes for whole season. If you found the sigil, select cancel and save game.
In case it helps anyone. You don’t need to play an entire blitzball league or reset data to get new prizes. As long as you haven’t played any games in the new league all you have to do is a soft reset and you will get new prizes.
The worst part of not having grabbed the stuff in Yunalesca's lair right after beating her is that i don't even recall that being there. On my friggin screen at least i scanned the area, only thing i found was somewhere that teleported me accross the screen...

Is it really necessary to have Celestial Weapons to beat the game? If not, what other powerful weapon options do I have? I don't want to have to do the Celestial Weapons.
They arent necessary at all to beat the story. They arent “necessary” to beat all the superbosses either, but it alleviates a lot of the hassle when dealing with dark aeons, nemesis, and penance so much that getting the weapons would take less effort than dealing with them without the weapons. There arent exactly any weapons that make you “powerful” but there are weapons that have some useful abilities like counterattack or evade & counter. Break damage limit only works to break the damage cap that your characters stats reach. Its not exactly the weapon that makes you stronger. That being said, you can beat the story using a basic weapon as long as your stats are high enough
@@UG_Commentary "getting the weapons would take less effort than dealing with them without the weapons" Oh my God, that's insane. WoW... but thanks so much for the support and response. +1 subscriber ❤️
Celestial Weapons are powerful because their LimitBreak (deals more than 9999 damage) is more powerful than normal weapons equipped with the same abilities. But I remember the most of the time I was using specific combination of abilities to farm ability points. And before I got the Celestial Weapons, there is another specific combination for dealing high damage. So yeah, Celestial Weapons are just challenges to complete, like Dark Aeons.
The butterflies ain't in a fixed position for the first area that the bird guy isn't at, I swear the ones on the top floor are moving up & down, everytime I try a left route or a right route they still catch me on the top floor.
Unless it's been changed from the original PS2 version of FFX, it would have been worth mentioning that while missing the Besaid and Macalania destruct spheres is definately bad, missing the one at Bevelle is worse - since you can't go back to the Bevelle Temple if you miss it
@@ryanball8944 nope, the spear that you get in bevelle is not the destruction sphere chest, the one is the HP Sphere if i remember, the spear is optional if you dont get it you still have the destruction sphere in bevelle

I actually LIKED playing blitzball in this game. After getting a few key players and passing the ball to Tidus ALOT, he becomes very powerful and pretty unstoppable. I send Tidus and the mid 3 in, pass to a good passer in the back, when Tidus gets to goal, pass to him, jecht shot and GOOOOOOOAL! Rinse and repeat
I played FFX back in 2001 and got Yuna, Rikku, Auron, and Kimahri’s CWs (with a bit of struggling on butterflies but otherwise easy.) I TRIED the whole chocobo thing but hours later i was just frustrated beyond belief! Same with lightning dodging, and I didn’t even try Wakka 😹😹😅 I have never gotten those three’s CW. And I don’t think I ever will. Games are supposed to be enjoyable and I refuse to do unpleasant grueling tasks for hours and hours. I’m playing on the Switch now, trying to gear up for Dark Aeons for the first time (as I only played an original PS2 copy ever) and I only got Yuna, Auron and Rikki’s CW! They are my dream team and are currently stat maxing in the Monster Arena. I might give them each of their minigames another attempt but it’s just so miserable!
For some reason despite having the mirror I'm not getting the prompt to show the bartender the mirror when I speak to her, she just mentions something about not winning enough games, I already checked wakkas I currently don't own the weapon so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?
From worst to easiest I'd say: Butterflies [haven't finished it after endless tries will do in Remake] Blitzball [Spent 5 days with four 4 hour sessions and one 9 and 1/2 hour session.. yes..] Chocobo Race [just don't use analog sticks] Lightning Dodging [first tried this. Pause and take a break after 100 dodges to calm down then continue]
I usually just get Yuna, Auron, Rikku, and Wakka in terms of celestial weapons. I can get Lulu and Kimahri but their sigils are a pain in the ass and not worth the hassle IMO. Tidus I don't use post-Zanarkand. Wakka already fills his role and then some.

I feel for you man. The monster capturing and Wakkas sigil alone would take you about 5-10 hours. Then you have the attempts with the sun sigil. Not to mention that if you miss a destruction sphere, you can't get anima yet. But personally I love the grind and have platinumed the game about 5 times now. Call me crazy 🤣
I hated going after the sun sigil. The damn chocobo wouldn’t respond the way I wanted it to. Even after figuring out the bird pattern to dodge, I kept missing balloons that should’ve been easy to get. Took me forever to get my time down to 0.0, and even then it was by luck.
Fml I just started a new play through and forgot to do the Besaid destruction sphere and now in at the high road, idk if I should restart or not now lmao
I played it on ps2 back in the day. Got some of the weapons. Tidus, lulu were the ones I really remember. Then 2-3 years ago I got them again. On a ps2 emulator. This time on the switch so far the best I got was 0.5 seconds on the race and I’m terrible at dodging lightning. And now since I missed it I guess a dark aeon is guarding the sun crest. Lol. Hopefully yojimbo will one shot him too.
16+ balloons and no birds hitting you (low finishing time helps). Took me 34 tries because I farmed prizes while I practiced (make honest attempts when there are 4+ starting balloons "lined up" on the right in the beginning). Tapping a directions is helpful, depending on controller type.
For Wakka’s section, I headed to that bar. Previously, I got the crest from the lockers. However the bartender keeps repeating the same thing over and over. I have the Celestial Mirror, but it won’t give me the option to show it to her
I unfortunately have it on Xbox, so the names are different for the sigils, because THATs what apparently needed fixing. Not the chocobo race, not the lightning strikes, the NAMES.
I think you need to talk to a book on the counter in Rin's Travel Agency in Thunder Plains before you are able to start praying to the qactuar stones. I may be wrong though. The book might just be the in-game hint to what to do.

However both the key items dont even show in my inventory....i get bugged and am now locked from her max celest? Im playing on steam. I rebeat all 5 intial aeons to make sure. no item I already had it. same for arena.
How far must you be to start this. I have the cloudy mirror and I’ve beaten the races to move the chick in the calm lands. When I go back to the woods I can’t seem to get that broad to move outta the way so I can talk to the child up top to get the celestial mirrors
"This game is the most luck-based of all the minigames" in regards to Chocobo Catcher It's barely luck-based at all, once you know that there are only so many balloon formations and where birds spawn from. The fact that long-time players can always get below 0 in just a few attempts is proof it's far less "luck-based" and more based on preparation, knowledge, and skill.
Yunas weapon and both items for it is the easiest to get out of em all. After getting that the game was doable but I really do want the other members so I csn do the dark aeons. Its just a shame I get a migraine trying 5o do he chocobo race xP

bahahaha really holy shit it only took me 20 mins
@@GOODZ7777 thats sick! Congrats
I spent 2 days trying, then had the flu and beat it second try that day. Crazy lol. Never got Khamarahi though.
I played hundreds of hours of these games back in the PS2 era ... Amazing game
I beat this game in 2003 my junior year. Bought the remake and now 20 hours. Just got to Mt Ronso. Man this game brought back so many memories. And I love the grinding! Can’t wait to start on these weapons again!
I've played countless hours of this game on ps2, ps3 and now ps4. SO much content in older games!
Same thing
Same!!! I cant believe I did all of this with ease as a kid.
*gagazet 🤨🤨😅
I never completed it as a lil kid, I just tried to train so that I could beat all the monster arena bosses at calm lands. That took a very long time, playing on and off. As an adult I came back to the game (ffx hd) and completed it without the dark aeons and monster arena. Now, at 3 decades old I return to beat absolutely everything including penance (not there yet tho). Damn, I love this game
I’ve seen this video like a dozen times through all the remakes, thank you so much I’ve had all weapons on ps2, vita, ps3, ps4, and now on my switch OLED
Only a true psychopath enjoys blitzball.
its fun after higher levels and getting the 2nd jecht shot, you are unstoppable

Great video, quick info on Wakka's weapon;
Unless it was patched out you can get the Jupiter Sigil and all of Wakka's overdrives in 4-5 leagues by playing blitzball until its ready to reset and quitting out of blitzball straight after the game without seeing the main blitzball menu.
At this point save and go back in to blitzball. If the league doesn't have an overdrive or the sigil then quit without saving and try again. It will continually roll the prizes at this point so you can get everything in the least time possible.
I found out that bit of info which was a big towards wakkas sigial. and it's well worth the blitzball grinding. also once I got head round blitzball I pretty much enjoyed playing it
I reset data after getting auroch reels until i see sigil as prize. Progress wasted but what can i do 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for the wonderful in-depth guide. Getting everyones celestial weapons is something I've never done, and fully intend to do on my next playthrough. They really don't make games like this anymore.
My pleasure! And I appreciate your kind words! I hope it goes well on your next playthrough!!!
Good luck with wakkas. Doing it currently and it is time consuming
@@tripleaarcadeI'm in a similar place as OP. But I think Waka's will be easier than Tidus's. That Chocobo mini game is sooo frustrating.
this is one of the greatest games of all time
Thank you for sharing this video.
this is awesome, love your 99999/999 health n magic stats, i beat this game 2-3 since it came out ages ago and never got the celestial weapons for everyone.. wish i had time to do this :( glad to see it being done though.
It absolutely blown my mind that you're channel doesn't have more views. Your videos are so polished and well structured. Thanks for allotting so much time to making this ace content boss, hope you're having a top tier day! ✨
Thank you very much! Means a lot! :)
@@UG_Commentary Seriously man. I already knew how to get most of them, but I watched the full video because of how well structured it was! Keep it up :)
This is one of the best videos I've seen on the Final Fantasy weapons! Thanks for the effort in making this video (from one Content Creator to another) - I subscribed because of this video. 😁👍

Lulu's Sigil was the most annoying because one blink from the lightning and you lose and have to start over.
I agree. It took me a long time T.T
It's the easier than Tidus or Kimahris. I got it done in one go. There's a trick you can do to make it super easy.

To me choco dodger was the worst. Lulu was doable and I did it but the frustration that came from choco dodger made me break many controllers
Just to reiterate the time on the balloon race has to be below 0.0. Back when I had this on the PS2 I got a time of 39.0 and 13 balloons for a time of exacly 0.0, it didn't count. There was much fury that day.
How on EARTH do you go through a race at 0 sec? Do the balloons subtract time for you???
@@CJTranceAddictionyeah 3 secs per balloon and birds I believe add 3 sec and the stun. It’s a very infuriating mini game
That paytowin Yojimbo.
Thank you for the kind words! Good luck my friend! Happy to answer any question I can! :)
I've been playing this game ever since it came out and I've only been able to dodge 200 lightning bolts one time on my ps2.
When I play this game back in 2003 I didn't need a guide and now that I playing this for the second time why I need a guide 😂
this game really is something.. so complicated easter eggs..
first timer will never get all those celestial weapons
Subscribed. Thank you for this!
If you are trying to absolutely break the game.
blitzball is the way at the cost of hours of grinding spheres and materials as rewards
dark matter, teleport spheres, return spheres, all the most powerful options for weapon and armor customizations are offered as prizes in blitzball.
absolut bst guide out there
Thank you so much. I am starting FFX over again. I aiming for 100% percent.
How's it going?
4:00 (5:00), 6:00 (6:30), (13:00), (16:30 - 17:00), [[18:00]] (19:17), (21:00 - 22:40), 23:00 (24:40)
can be acquired before your 1st trip to the top of Mt Gagazet, btw. (No airship required!)
Don't be a slacker or stupid; in some cases, this will ruin your game if you don't get the work done early.
If you screw up and miss a destruction sphere just go get Auron's celestial weapon for the first strike, get swap in Yuna and get Yojimbo to Zanmato the dark aeon blocking your path.
underrated channel, WHAT A GREAT GUIDE!
I can't think you enough, thank you so much
--So...from what reviewed on this guide for ultimate/celestial weapons, Wakka, Kimahri, and theoretically, Auron, can have fully powered celestial weapons before the Yunalesca fight. Wakka being the the technical earliest of them all and you can get Attack reels in the process. Basically the character with the best ultimate attack and being the technical earliest to have a fully powered celestial weapon. For Auron I'm not sure if you can back track on foot to fully power his.--
--Tldr: Wakka, Kimahri, and Auron can technically have fully powered ultimate/celestial weapons before the Yunalesca fight. Not sure for Auron though as I don't know if you can't backtrack for him after the second Seymour fight after getting the Rusty Sword. But definitely you can try for Wakka the (technical) earliest and Kimahri as second before Yunalesca.--
--Edit: For Wakka...yeah I just reviewed the video on Wakka. That and just in general of knowing what I want.--
--Edit: Nvm. Wakka needs the mirror to get his weapon. So basically Kimahri is technically the earliest for convenience of back tracking back to the forest to power up his Celestial weapon.--
Edit 2/4/2022: Okay so basically you can't get Kimahri's Celestial weapon early enough. Somehow.
This game makes me miss the early 2000s. Something about the video's thumbnail triggered these feelings, heh.
How nice to hear someone talk so clean and correctly!! Very refreshing to not get annoyed by butchered english together with some kind of- or several speak impedaments...

@@felixvelez2354 Im sorry, english is not my main language; im swedish.
I haven't played this game in YEARS and this video just brought back so much PTSD from grinding these out when i was a kid. I don't think i even was able to fully power up them all. I specifically remeber having to dodge those stupid lightning bolts and having to play so. much. blitzball.
I can't believe how difficult it was for me to complete this this task for the celestial weapons and grind for the correct rings ,it took me 2 gameplays just to learn and complete the Al bed alphabet just to run the 3rd gameplay without collecting the translation.
This on my 3rd gameplay, Next was certain areas to research on the sigils location I never knew was in my face . I'm subscribing just to watch the wonderful memories of these games I had difficulty with but thanks for the notes on the remastered version.
Edit : blitzball was so addictive I spent most of my time trynna perfect the strategy, hire the best offensive and defensive players throughout Spira and wanting to master as many skills on tech copy , loved this Mimi game .
Please convince me of why Blitzball is so awesome.
I really really loathe that game but I must play it to get Wakka's ultimate weapon.
The 200 lightning bolt thing was a breeze, but Blitzball...
Currently playing FF X again (my favourite FF together with IX) and I really want to get everyone's ultimate weapon. I usually skip Wakka's and Tidus'

Glad the 2nd attempt was much easier but the 3rd attempt was to make them overpowered before losing my memory card with over 800hrs of grindset.
Yeah the best part was resetting the blitz teams to default just make the game more entertaining and for the rewards
@@kazumi1315 the best team is: Tidus, Larbeight, Linna, Ropp, Navara, Nimrook at lvl 99.
Also if you like Aurochs, Keepa + Datto+ Wakka (Auroch spirit technique with 241 shoot never misses on goal) => otherwise Wakka/keepa are dumpster fire compared alternatives. Special note my 2 forwards and midfielder had 6 each in one game = 18 total. Skill is a choice.
The best way to get wakka sigil is to finish a League then select back. Save game and try to rest for sigil to appear in prizes... If you select continue after league finishes. You will be stuck with prizes for whole season. If you found the sigil, select cancel and save game.
When mentioning how to unlock One Eye, he forgot about Floating Death in the Omega Ruins. You need 4 of him as well.
2024!!! Tryna do what I didn’t do back when I played this game 2007. 😅
The early 2000s we’re a different time, I remember when this game first came out on ps2 I bought it along with the strategy guide and I found everything in the game easily, new games don’t Even have them anymore
10:17 I fucking love this song.
So yeah, Celestial Weapons are just challenges to complete, like Dark Aeons.
celestial weapons arent needed to beat the game at all, they're for post game if you want to go for the platinum
I saw on another video if you pay Yojimbo 3x his asking price you get an item. Cant remember what the item is but im sure its important for something
Thankfully if you exploit Yojimbos hidden Zanmato mechanic then dark aeons aren’t a problem if you can’t wait to beat them more legitimately.
I had to do this my first playthrough to beat dark shiva lol. Good ol' Yojimbo
The butterflies ain't in a fixed position for the first area that the bird guy isn't at, I swear the ones on the top floor are moving up & down, everytime I try a left route or a right route they still catch me on the top floor.
After this, I just need Lulu. I literally did 198 and got zapped. I dunno what’s worse, Tidus, or Lulu. Mini-games my ass 😂
Just started playing again gonna save this for later
The chocobo training is what keeps me from coming back and grinding this game. I don't have the patience for all the rng.
You get the hang of it. I can use get both the 5 chests and 0:00 within a hour or so
Unless it's been changed from the original PS2 version of FFX, it would have been worth mentioning that while missing the Besaid and Macalania destruct spheres is definately bad, missing the one at Bevelle is worse - since you can't go back to the Bevelle Temple if you miss it
Destruction sphere in bevelle in unmissable
@@kazumi1315 true. The chest with the spear in it is not. And if you don't get it, you don't get Anima

I’m having troubles getting around the woman blocking the glow path in the makalania forest. Any advise?
I still play this game even today
"For the love of God please get the crest before leaving"😂😂😂😂😂😂. Hilarious but sooooooooooooooooooooooo true.
Fantastic game. I’m playing through it again now. Just starting to capture monsters.
From worst to easiest I'd say:
Butterflies [haven't finished it after endless tries will do in Remake]
Blitzball [Spent 5 days with four 4 hour sessions and one 9 and 1/2 hour session.. yes..]
Chocobo Race [just don't use analog sticks]
Lightning Dodging [first tried this.
*sigh* of course i'm missing the besaid destruction sphere. i hate things like this in RPGS.
This was really Helpful Thanks
The weapons are great but ridiculoussly hard to get omg. I wanted to get tidus but I can't win the chocobo race too save my life
Tip ...1 of my playthrus i got the 0.00 time on my 1st try didn't get the sigil, got the shitty 1st prize instead, had to do it again. On 1 playthru i got the sigil but the guy at the cliff didn't move.Had to beat it again .....Arrrrrrrghhhh!
Tidus CW aquirement is kinda not explained properly, thnk god i actually like the chcobo races.
having done all the celestial weapons on the PS2 version of the game back in 2011 which them taking a good chuck of my complete 350 hour save file and also redoing them for HD remaster years after I can honestly say if I ever do them again on pc after doing a Final Fantasy Marathon whenever the pixel remasters of 4-6 come out on steam I will probably use a cheat engine or something because boy are these annoying to do.
Call me crazy 🤣
i laughed so hard when he said "as soon as you finish that" for the chocobo balloon race
God hand was the only weapon I ever unlocked. thus started my 20 year love affair with Rikku str build.
I hated going after the sun sigil. The damn chocobo wouldn’t respond the way I wanted it to. Even after figuring out the bird pattern to dodge, I kept missing balloons that should’ve been easy to get. Took me forever to get my time down to 0.0, and even then it was by luck.
20 years as of yesterday in think (at least in eu) and I’m about to finish it again in my switch
My favorite game of all time, made me fall in love with jrpgs.....but goddamn I was NOT maxing some of these weapons
Ok how I defeat the dark aeon???...
also for lulus. u need to first beat that weird fish thing before the chest will appear. steam version.
the chocobo catcher at 0.00 is bullshit
16+ balloons and no birds hitting you (low finishing time helps). Took me 34 tries because I farmed prizes while I practiced (make honest attempts when there are 4+ starting balloons "lined up" on the right in the beginning). Tapping a directions is helpful, depending on controller type.
For Wakka’s section, I headed to that bar. Previously, I got the crest from the lockers.
However the bartender keeps repeating the same thing over and over. I have the Celestial Mirror, but it won’t give me the option to show it to her
did you get all his over drives?
Did you got all the overdrives and you have the celestial mirror charged?
Hy i want you help me my treasure box to get Venus sigil is gone so how that treasure box can have again please help me 🙏
I unfortunately have it on Xbox, so the names are different for the sigils, because THATs what apparently needed fixing. Not the chocobo race, not the lightning strikes, the NAMES.
Is all this necessary Or required to beat the game?
Absolutely not, and its a testament to how insufferable the optional stuff in this game can be… but if anyone still wanted to do it, here it is? Lol
I think you need to talk to a book on the counter in Rin's Travel Agency in Thunder Plains before you are able to start praying to the qactuar stones. I may be wrong though. The book might just be the in-game hint to what to do.
im here to appreciate a FFX content. thank you
Once again thank you
I appreciate the awesome tips, but I really suck at my timing. Only one caught!
The problem for me is in Macalania. When I go to the child upstairs there is a woman in the way. Can you help me how to get the woman to leave?
Just started a new game. Got everything done 10yrs ago. Lol

I'm going to do another playthrough of FFX again, and now I'm dredging it all over again LOL

How far must you be to start this. I have the cloudy mirror and I’ve beaten the races to move the chick in the calm lands. When I go back to the woods I can’t seem to get that broad to move outta the way so I can talk to the child up top to get the celestial mirrors
Lulu and Wakka might have to miss out lol. All they need is each other.

"This game is the most luck-based of all the minigames" in regards to Chocobo Catcher
It's barely luck-based at all, once you know that there are only so many balloon formations and where birds spawn from. The fact that long-time players can always get below 0 in just a few attempts is proof it's far less "luck-based" and more based on preparation, knowledge, and skill.
I accidentally swapped my rusty blade or another weapon. Is there any way to get it back?
Yunas weapon and both items for it is the easiest to get out of em all. After getting that the game was doable but I really do want the other members so I csn do the dark aeons.
