mv agusta designs are sick.
Some things look better on the 2006, like the black TiN coated forks and there's no plastic cover where the subframe and frame join.
a good design is always good, I too like 2000's era better. Bikes are trying too hard to look futuristic

I have a mint one of these (K6) in blue and white with race cams, power commander 5 and a Yoshi full race exhaust.. Dynoed at 180 RWHP.......It is wickedly fast and certainly not for the faint hearted.....So many people have asked to buy it.
This bike will ALWAYS Be A MONSTER...after 175hp, that's when companies started making ride modes,abc,traction..

They are the same bike 05/06 they changed in 07/08..... 06 is better than 05 they just fixed all the recall issues on 2nd year y'all can have your k5s and Frame Snapping Recalls
@@calikid7116 eh I haven’t had any issues out of my K5 but it only had 10k kms when I bought it. Can’t bring it back to the states so I’m not to worried about any issues.

I have never ridden either but word of mouth at the time (and for a long time between then and now) was that the 750 was the best sports bike of all time.
Great choice! I never bitched about the dirt stuff that yall have been putting out lately. I did enjoy it, even though its not quite for me, but it brought back some memories of when I was 12 yrs old riding some old ass dirt bikes with a friend in the woods. Long before I got my first street bike!

My dad has a k6 gixxer. I remember when I was younger I’d just always look at it and think it was the coolest thing ever. He didn’t ride it for a couple years cos he was busy with work stuff but me and him fixed it up last year. The first time I heard it fire up was the very moment when I decided I definitely need to get me one of those. But yeh very cool bike super super happy to see you guys have one

RevZilla drove the price up of these bad boys a year ago. When they smoked a brand new Panigale against a K5.
@@jamesambrocio because 2018 - 2020 V4S had first 4 gear totally restricted by Ducati and (not by emission rules), they removed the restriction from 2021 model onwards and 2022 v4s is as fast as @230HP WSBK Zx10RR, watch Luca Salvadori's video.
@@kestrel3509 they said it was the fault of a spring shock because it was 'too soft' relative to their weight. Imagine losing to a 15 year old japanese bike, then blaming it on a $100 spring attached to a $30,000 hyper bike 🤷♂️

Loved this video! I picked up a K8 GSX-R 1000 as my 3rd motorcycle this last November. Got all the maintenance done, cleaned the throttle, installed some ASV shorty levers & it runs amazing! The engine break is definitely there for my bike so Ima sure you’ll get that sorted out soon on this bike
Id love to own one of these some day, sadly I’ve never had the privilege to drive a motorcycle but I’ll be buying a beginner bike sometime soon and get things going from there 🤙🏾

I have this exact bike. Mine has an Akrapovic exhaust. This is far to much bike for a 70 year old carrying a couple pounds around the middle! However I can not get rid of it because its a K6 and it is not replaceable. The only problem with mine is I do not have the original body kit so mine is fitted with a chinese after market kit of rather dubious quality. The owner I got it from also used as a track bike and had a track body kit fitted and he sold the original body kit!!! The colour scheme is exactly like this one. Those wheels...... Mouth watering

Oh sure, I'll "play" a bit sometimes with a quick wheelie or hold the throttle to the stop a "few extra" seconds occasionally when passing a car but, the real fun/challenge is on the track. Once you ride the track you're hooked..... 😎👊❤🏍

@@NHlocal understandable my man haha unless you're willing to break a few laws the zx10r is too big for the street, it seems to be a track guys dream though I really like how the 2011-15 models were set up. I've never ridden on a track and I'd love the opportunity but the zx10r is so much fun already and honestly way smoother and easier to ride on the streets than it's 636 counterpart. I rode 3 zx6rs and then the zx10 all simultaneously for the test ride and found the zx10r the easiest and most manageable and usable on the regular roads. The 600s feel too jerky and on/off with the throttle response.
@@robmuhfacka5986 Never had the pleasure of riding the zx6, I've always had my eye on the ZX10. I have found, with "a bit" of self control, it really is a great bike to ride on the street. You're gonna love that ZX10! 😎👊❤🏍

That is a very nice looking GSXR. If the PO maintained everything as nicely as the body & wheels, then it's a rare beauty. I'm old enough to remember when the K5 was new and every squid (or wannabe squid) lusted after it. All Yam was missing was a can of Four Loko. You can't ride a GSXR without also juggling an open can of Four Loko.
That said, I do like the uptick in dirtboy content and really want to see Spite's new Killer out there on the trail.

This beautiful bike caused a skin graph + 32 stitches on my right eye/ 25 stitches and skin graph on right forehead, 25 stitches down my shoulder plus roadrash. ... never let a 14 year old wheelie one without a helmet 😅 life flight + ICU.. the medical bills were the worst, my mom and dad still hate me 😆

These bikes of that era are fully analog in their controls. The only digital thing about it is the fuel injection and the gauges. Cable throttle, no ABS, no power modes. The throttle IS 1 to 1 and at the same time it has immediate response because nothing exists between your wrist and the cable that actuates the throttle valves. The reason you don't feel it being 1 to 1 is the secondary throttle valves that are controlled by the ecu. You can tune those or remove them altogether.

The 750s were widely considered to be the goldilocks bike at the time and the bike to have. People said for a long time that the 750 was the best bike of all time.

Old Suzuki's go on and on. I ride a 1988 Katana 1100 with 115,000km on it and I wouldn't be that afraid to get on the thing and ride it across Canada.

Some idiot gave mine rider modes. As far as I can tell A stands for all conditions, not sure what B is, but I rode home from the dealership in coward mode, would not recommend

My friend has an 05 gsxr 600 that I rode around town. Most miserable experience I’ve ever had on 2 wheels. My ears still haven’t recovered from the two bros exhaust on that thing. There’s like a 10lb difference between that and my MT-09 and you’d think it’s more like 100lbs. It feels so heavy! But on a more positive note. Even though sport bikes are not my bag. That bike is beautiful! Somebody is going to be a proud fast boi squid with all the track bits included. We better see this vs the turbo busa too. I’m really curious to see how much slower it is.

That front brake line is routed wrong, it should be on the inside of the fork leg. I mean it still works, it might rub on the fork though. Im not alone in thinking this right? Running it on the inside is so much cleaner looking.
