Like I always say when these types of comparisons come around, a collector can't lose with either set. Both GP and FT offerings are really, really good. We are legit spoiled as collectors
Another nice well thought out review! I’ll always know him as slag not slug,but I think both options are awesome! I own the giga and love him, but he’s fragile. Paint, chrome, hips, hands scare me sometimes but I think both knocked it outta the park! Keep up the great comparisons! Thank you!
As always great review!! They've been re-issuing those Dinobots at $295, and you just mentioned they were initially $130. That's absolutely Insane!! Especially for such an old mold!

I can’t decide what set to go in on. I’m not a price guy. I don’t mind saving up for the FT. But GP looks amazing(paint wise). Any advise on how to choose?
Final video coming soon, full set review and recommendations. But the bottom line is if you like toon accuracy over all else go with FT, or you like big eye catching bots over all else go with GP
Gigapower all day long man! I swapped out for Gigapower but I did stick with Fans Toys Swoop! I wasn't sure how I would feel about the chrome paint at first but it just plain works for Dinobots! I'd like to see Gigapower hit up say MP Insecticons
Gigasaur GigaPower Grassor (& the Team of 5) for the W-I-N ! I LOVE the slightly stylized GGs. FT/PF just look dull in comparison. The only minor complaint I would lodge with GigaSaur Gigapower Grassor is that his Gun needs Paint - FT/PF Cesium wins that one item. Might have been nice to have Chrome Horns 2. Now...... I would be in for a GigaSaur "Toon" Accurate set - instead of the Chrome Gold, Yellow, More a very light Metallic Grey instead of Metallic Silver, A nice Red instead of the Cherry but keep the paint accents. Just my nickels worth. The downside w/FTs re-issue is the PRICE GOUGING - for that reason alone, as much as I would like to have a had a set of FTs, I am OUT. Thanks for the review/comparison - looking forward to the next one
