- Sea fishing trip to Eastbourne by the water works at Langney point shore fishing mark.
Fished the tide in and then back out again, sunny with a light south easterly breeze. I was joined by Neil, Kirsty and Lee for the day.
baits used were fresh black lug, squid, sardine, bluey and herring.
All of us caught fish and I used very long flowing trace rigs that I made to see if this would improve my chances.
It worked as I caught Plaice, Pout Whiting and a nice Bass.
Spider crabs started to make an appearance as we all were getting hooks snipped off and Neil and I reeled some small spider crabs in.
With the easterly wind and the muddy water the day turned up better than I had expected.

If only this world was made up with more people you. Lovely personality, great sense of humour and kindness. A proper gentleman. + you can catch fish :) Take care fella and best wishes to your family.
Hi Beowulf don’t know what to say other than big thank you and made me happy as been a bit tough at home juggling work etc. certainly makes a change for me to catch fish but went to the beach without any expectations and maybe this helped. Take care chap and happy Easter to you and your family 👍👍😃🎣😃
Smashing day’s fishing!
@@angelinegrows7765 Thanks Angelina and certainly makes a change for me ❤️
Well done enjoyable clip, Nice to see you catching a few 😎🐎
Hi Kevin certainly makes a change for me but went to the beach with low expectations as easterly’s blowing maybe that’s the secret 😂take care 👍🎣🎣🎣
Great video Paul and a great story glad you had quite a few fish I must go on your next adventure I’m going to send you a picture of what I did through in the week
Hi Derek we will catch a Ray together sooner or later 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Well done nice fish 🐟
Thanks for taking the time to watch and for the nice comment much appreciated take care 👍🎣🎣🎣
Great video and great to catch up with you again! Managed to retrieve both of our tackle from the groyne plus some extras!!
Hi Neil likewise good to have a fish together with you and Kirsty loved it. Well done on the tackle retrieve 👍🎣🎣🍺
Well done Paul another good day for you looked lovely down there cheers 🍻🎣👍
Hi Graham loved the day although a bit of a bite to the Easterly wind. Because of that didn’t expect to catch much but was quite surprised with the outcome cheers 👍🎣🎣🍺
Well done Paul, looks like the fishing is on the up. Langney point is one of my favourite venues bit of a pig of a journey from Kent though as its mostly lanes, looking forward to the next one 🎥
Hi Harry only recently started fishing there and will go more often along that stretch. An hour and half run for me to get there but good on a low tide as water deeper than Pevensey way. Take care cheers Paul 👍🎣🎣🍺
Wot no dogfish? They must all live at Hove 😂😂😂. Nice to see you catching Paul! A nice early Bass too. Lovely day to fish too.
Hi Kerry certainly made a change for me to catch something different and yes no dogfish or rockling 😂
Went there expecting little and maybe that’s the secret or the cunningly constructed traces 😂
Take care 😀👍👍🎣🎣🍺
I have a 96yr old Aunt similar to your Hippo 🤣 If we live long enough we will be like it!
I bet she will dine out on the story!
Very Good Video mate. Thoroughly enjoyed it, well done. You can cast as well!
Its changed so much used to be Pouting, Whiting, Rockling🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi Ray thanks for taking the time to watch and comment made me chuckle. Mother in Law improving which will make it easier on the home front 🤞
Find it easier to cast with my old Abu’s than the new Penns that I got a couple years ago. So going stick with the old reels gave em a service and running like new. Take care Cheers Paul 🎣👍👍🍺
very enjoyable video yet again Paul.
Thanks fellow really appreciated you taking time to watch and give positive feedback take care 👍🎣🎣🎣🎣
Good stuff buddy! nice fishing, stay safe, see ya on the rocks
Thanks for watching and commenting really appreciated and would love to have a fish Wales way one day. Beautiful coastline take care cheers Paul 👍🍺🍺🎣
Great fishing Paul! I’m one of miss Childs students and personally I think you are the best fishermen in the whole WORLD
Miss Child is a very cool teacher 👩🏫 and thank you for for your kind words made me very happy 😃 👍🎣🎣
@@SeaFishingWithPaul no problem Paul! And also yeah miss child is rlly nice to us
@@lav_reaper901 that’s good to hear that she is a nice teacher 👍
Looked like a great day out with some decent weather. Nice Bass there. Funny about the mother in law, shouldn't laugh, but the images you conjured up provoke it. Good video mate keep it going.
Hi chap thanks for taking the time to watch and comment and life sometimes throws up the best comedy from difficult situations. Without laughter life would be very different. Needed the escape to the beach and made up with the bass. Take care 👍🎣🎣🍺
Paul, you really aced it that day mate, you should fish more and post it up, to save me from the great british bake off. 😂 i can’t take another series 😳
Colin big thanks for that and understand the great British bake off. My heart sinks when my wife reaches for the remote and goes it’s my turn to choose. I generally find wine and you tube on my phone helps 😂😂take care Paul
Hi Paul good vid still quiet here at Bracklesham but Selsey is beginning to show fish
Hi Miles will be coming down that way soon as if no fish at least the scenery is eye catching and calms my soul. I even enjoy the drive down through the woods and the down land take care 🎣🎣👍🍺🍺
living the dream Paul
Hi Andy only waited forty years to be able to go regularly and promised myself when younger that if I had the time later in life would not squander it. Although fish catches not as plentiful as when I was younger.Take care cheers Paul 👍🎣🎣🍺
@@SeaFishingWithPaul i try to get out every time i can, im not happy unless im fishing now
@@andycoleman4280 Hi Andy totally get the obsession makes me happy being down on the beach and when I retire am heading to the coast up north 👍🎣
Nice to get some fish : }
Hi John with my record it certainly makes a change. Went there with little expectations as easterly’s blowing and was surprised to catch a few. Haven’t caught pouting from a beach in many years. But that’s the reason we all go as you never know what you might catch. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment really appreciated cheers fellow 👍🎣🎣🍺🐠
Well after a week like that you deserved a decent trip 💪. Great day out for you, don’t you have a spare rig baited and ready when you reel in,saves loads of time 🤔🎣🐟
Hi Kevin will take your advice on the next one and will give you a mention, a spare rig makes loads of sense and will do it. Cheers for watching and working next weekend and will be out again on the 30th. Take care Paul 👍🎣🎣🐠
Great session Paul! And always nice to see a bass. Just the one plaice for me Friday, but like you I got a rosey face from the weather.
Hi Karl we will get to have fish together we’ll done on the Plaice and hope you had a good Easter break will let you know next venue in a couple weeks time cheers 👍🎣🎣
Good to see you amongst the fish again, and hope Mary is continuing her recovery after what must have been quite an ordeal. No spider crabs at Shoreham, yet. Don't work too hard, see you on the beach soon.
Hi Rob makes a change for me to catch but had an ace day and needed the break. Thanks for your kindness re Mary and we we will have another fish together soon cheers Paul 👍🎣🎣🎣
hi paul you ok mate. enjoyed the vid again paul. looked like you had a good laugh with the lads. yes ive been uzeing fisho's method 4 a couple of years now ,n feel confident like a surgon haha. hate to see people yanking at hook . i try to pass it on. well done on your fish. i fished saturday with a pal n managed 4 flounders n my pal had 4 plus a 35cm codling at east halton on the humber. All the best paul from grimsby.
Hi Carl a codling what can I say other than the last time I caught one from down this way was 7 years ago and weighed 4lbs 3oz in old money.
Fisho’s method works a treat. I put the fish in the bucket to recover and then get the hook out and makes me feel great letting them back into the sea unharmed and watch them swim off.
The clock is counting down to when my wife and I move up your neck of the woods and we can catch a codling or two together. Feeling like crap as had a wisdom tooth out this morning and sitting here self medicating with some beer 🍺 take care cheers from down south 👍🎣🎣🎣🍺🍺
Nice mixture of fish there Paul, I was in almost the same spot as you the other week and caught nothing but other peoples leads 😂. Well done chap.
Hi Danny fishing can be contrary and I went expecting not much because of the easterly’s but was surprised and happy to catch a couple and makes a change for me 😃😂👍🎣🎣take care Paul
Great session , I definitely think you won that one Paul , lovely bass 👍 Hope the mother inlaw is on the mend mate . As for the dog, chuck him on ya trolley ,it'll be a whole lot easier than dragging the lump🤣 Be lucky 🎣
Hi fella thanks for that and one of those days where it all dropped into place 😂 or should that be Plaice and wen there without any expectations and maybe that’s the secret 🤫 had an ace day with great company and a few fish what could be better. Mother in law is getting there cheers and take care Paul 👍👍🎣🎣
Another great video Paul really glad your catch rate is going up hope all is well with you 😎😎😎
Hi Martin surprised me to actually catch and with an Easterly am working long shift this week and weekend so not out for a couple of weeks. Home life a tad stressful and had wisdom tooth out last night yuk and not feeling the love today 😂take care 👍🎣🎣

East coast fishermen here, Hi Paul just want to say good fishing . Have not been for a while through treatment for cancer . Good news has gone into remission so hoping to dust the rods off and celebrate a trip with nipper to my old haunt Walton on Naze . Or Maybe we should meet up around your stomping area for a fish and chat let me now if interested . Keith
Hi Keith heart goes out to you re cancer and glad you are in remission. Get those rods dusted and get out with the nipper cannot beat a bit of vitamin sea😃
I could venture Walton on Naze way and be great to have you as a guide as never been there. Sounds a perfect plan chose the beach and let me know. Take care Paul 👍🎣🎣🍺🥂🥂🥂
Sounds like a plan nipper has to book time off work I will let you now when we can go thanks mate speak soon keith
@@keithhodges1369 perfect look forward to it and Andy probably will join us cheers fellow 👍👍

That certainly was a lovely bass, a very nice venue will definitely go back there👍🏻 as for your red face, I too am reminiscent of a rather red tomato 🍅 and sore forehead 😂🤣
Sun tan factor 50 the way forward and good too share your company and have a giggle on the beach cheers 🥂
@@SeaFishingWithPaul sun cream is for wimps 🤣😂🤣
@@_-Spoons-_ I know but my wife gave me a serious telling off 👍😂
@@SeaFishingWithPaul mine just laughed at me 🤣😂
@@_-Spoons-_ Hi Lee, good of you to let Paul claim victory! The plaice are getting fatter at last, took 8 last week at the Burrell's. Hope to catch up with you soon. Rob.
Like 👍👍
Big thank you for that much appreciated 👍🎣🎣🐠
still use my abu 7000 30 years old still immaculate condition
Hi Paul they are now collectors item on eBay and don’t make them with the same quality now. Did invest in some Penn 525 mags and going back to the Abu’s was a pleasure and should have got them out of the loft sooner. Cheers and take care👍🎣🎣🎣
@@SeaFishingWithPaul totally agree mine are still in excellent condition still use it regularly
@@paulbailey4730 I should have just continued using them and not got seduced by a fishing magazine advert 😂😂😂 hey ho we live and learn 👍
