Thought this was common knowledge so I didn't talk about it in the video. The multiplayer ground pound is not a POW. It does not drop coins, just kills enemies.

Actually, that said, a bubble can be popped by a ice/fireball, so if you could hit their bubble while they're on the star coin, then that could actually work.
I think a more accurate analogy of "star coins" would be "It's like entering a jellyfish into a fishing contest. sure theyre calld "fish" but they wouldnt count"

For the star coin in world 4 with the heart made outta coins, cant you just have p1 enter with mini mushroom, and then have 2 more players. P2 (has a fire or Ice flower) is popped by p1 outta da bubble. Then, p3 trys to line up their bubble in the star coin. Finally p2 shoots their projectile to pop p3, and immediately collect the star coin, and then of course p3 bubbles again to avoid collecting anymore coins.
Sounds promising, I'm gonna pin your comment until we have confirmation on the matter.

Under that logic would it be possible to get the 9-7 one as well? If you allign the bubble withe coin, use a fire flower to melt the blocks, then shoot the bubble when its alligned
Isn't there a multiplayer pow effect if you ground pound together? Or it just affects enemies?
I feel like this could be done as well for the one level in world eight where you had to collect two coins

Wow, Mario bros wii is my personal faverouite game of all time, so seeing things done with this game that I never even considered is the reason I subscribed about two years ago, I new this video would come eventually as you announced it in a video ages ago, but to actually see it done, realy proves how far your willing to go with this game and how much effort you realy put in to all your videos. Nope multiplayer ground pound doesn't work like that. Actually not sure about the penguin but iirc you have to cancel the slide before you can GP.

In 4-3, I think you might be able to use three players to get the heart-enclosed Star coin coinless? If you enter with a mini mushroom and have one player as a bubbled penguin and the third player having a fireflower, could you let the penguin drift INSIDE the heart, then use the fireflower to pop the penguins bubble and he could grab the star coin without having to break through the “heart” formation of coins? Maybe in this game you can’t break a bubble with a fireflower, i don’t exactly remember
