Oh look, yet another New Super Mario Bros. Wii challenge. I don't mean to overdo these... I just keep getting cool ideas and this game is the best place to test them since I know it so well. Although this was a short video, the amount of time it took is probably 2/3 the time of 100% Coinless due to it being completed without savestates (until the final boss where we used them to skip phase 1).
If this video does well, I'll try three players. But I think the logical next place to take this is 3D World since it's different enough. Maybe NSMBU in the future, too!

I love how you only really two about stuff that were a problem.
Some people make thirty minute videos where they are like “Nothing happened in this stage so let’s not talk about it :)” but for every time this happens. Really good pacing

I've always liked these weird challenges. Pikasprey Blue played two different Pokemon versions simultaneously with one controller, and Smallant and a friend used half the controller each to play Super Mario Odyssey. I'd definitely be interested in more weird stuff in this regard, it's very cool!

Not gonna lie, I didn’t even know the MGP (Multiplier Ground pound) function even existed before this video.
Although I don’t have friends so that’s probably why
I have an idea for the Bowser Jr Airship fight with the bomb! Make one player jump on the 2nd players head, and just press down, but make sure that the first player is already on the ground! So then the bomb will hit Bowser Jr instead of exploding!
I've done this but without the no killing rules. I had a rule where I cannot actively kill my brothers though. One thing I found is that it does make it easier but not much easier. The thing about bubbled players is that they are constantly attracted to alive players, and every time you shake, every, single, time, they move much closer. This isn't much of an issue unless you're making tight jumps, in which case the bubbled player will launch themself into you, bouncing both of you to god knows where and usually killing you both.
I also had a variation on the no pick-up rule where if I picked up the other bro I had to get them out of my hands any way BUT through them. This caused tremendous desync.

You can also do this in Fireboy & Watergirl, you just need a bar that can press the Up and W keys at the same time

Ya know, I did this sort of thing with Tetris Attack where I would play a round against myself. Pretty neat idea to try the concept with other games.

I grew up with this game so I dont know who else did this but I used two controllers and played as two characters at the same time. I often roleplayed with my amazing mario luigi and toad voices...
I feel like I've seen TASs do something like this (beat multiple Mario games with the same inputs I've seen before, I think i saw a Pokemon one too?) but definitely not 2 players in the same game.
When I saw one controller I thought you meant by controlling only one lantern but this is a next level original (from what I know of) idea instead of the Luigi wins by doing nothing thing

I'm doing this with the 4 players. It's very difficult and always someone will get hit or fall off. I only had to change the bubble input for the other 3 players (every player has a different button for the bubble) in order to avoid most of that (if you don't change it and press the A button, you'll lose). It's less difficult however I sometimes forget which button is the correct for every player. It's even worse if you attempt to get all star coins in the levels. But yeah, it's possible with patience and coordination (luck too). Even if it's hard, It's still fun xD

I'd really like to see the reverse, with 2 people controlling Mario, one on the D-Pad and the other on buttons. Obviously, it would be possible but I'd like to see how hard it is and how good your communication needs to be

The 6-fortress has an easy fix here's my idea Luigi run into the pipe first or Mario make sure they are fully upgraded when one of the characters go down the pipe then the other player immediately run to the right to get into the other pipe then when the player in the pipe first blast of wait till the other guy blast out of the pipe too whichever character is on the left run to the character that's on the right
I thought 2 People controlling 1 Character with chared inputs, but this ist 1000 times better

Lol I thought 2P1C meant 2 Humans Sharing 1Controuller to control 1 Charakter (for example person A Handels the left and right movement and Person B makes the Jumps or shoots fireballs etc.)

I suggested this on the community post, but I would like to see two games one controller. Complete NSMBW and NSMBU levels together without dying in either game.
