Right?? It's like good... But always 1 staff or seal 10-20 scaling better lol, in the sorcery case Prince of Death staff(which I've never really used until I started adding a bit of faith.) I like using it in my main hand while exploring, so I don't have to switch too often between buffing and offensive sorceries. Which is big to me since when I'm running around, it's usually scared and that half second not switch is the difference in getting jumpscares or worse, knocked off Torrent 😂
Thanks for the video :) The Mantle of Thorns is just a buff that is supposed to work like the Briar armor. If you cast it and roll into an enemy, you do a little damage and possible interrupt them. That's it. Not too crazy or impressive, but not completely useless either.
I haven't experimented with the mantle of thorns yet... I guess it would be good against those enemies that like to grab you and suck your blood... And also those sludges that enjoy dropping on your head
@@PhillyBeatzGames I will have to try to remember to cast it and have it active as a preventative measure when walking through the areas where those enemies lurk.. not easy for me to have enough brain cells free to do it at the right time 😋
Mantle of thorns does about literally 8 damage when you roll into enemies. It makes full briar armor look powerful by comparison. It's a meme spell that does nothing for a very short time period.😕
@@chrissaucier7413 Not that I could tell, it didn't seem to provide any form of protection from my observation. It would be great though if your ideas did apply to it. All I could get it to do was barely damage enemies by rolling against them.😕 It's supposed to stack with briar armor, but that's not even close to impressive.
The new great beyond staff is so cool, works great with my faith/ int build. Just a shame it doesn't have the best scaling.
Yes . The new staffs are so much weaker than the prince of death staff😢
They need to buff our new staffs

The new staff still has better scaling than our other options for staves, just isn't as good as the order seal
