If he’s still in the chair, talk to the black knight leaning on a pillar and exhaust all of both of their dialogue if you haven’t done so already, that should make him leave his chair if anyone is having any issues
After talking to the black knight, go talk to Yamir and exhaust his dialogue again as there will be more. Then he will move after resting until nightfall
This DLC has way to much content man, I already feel like I've been missing out on so much but this is defintally not someting I wanna be missing out on. This looks freaking awesome!
Shame this staff is still completely out classed by other staffs and seals. It's REAL utility is just putting it in the hands of your mimic, or if your more incantation focused as there are int/faith scaling staffs that have well over 400 scaling, while this staff caps out on the low 300's.
The first thing I'd do with this armour is two hand a great mace and show the Lands Between how Sauron does things in Middle Earth. Will avoid Frodo Baggins for safety reasons.

/Pro-tip for anyone who doesn't know this about the mimic tear. At the beginning of any fight where u want to summon your mimic tear. unequip your items and only equip the raw meat dumpling item. then summon your mimic tear. This way your mimic tear will heal itself like it is a flask. after summoning. you can reequip your main items.

0:33 it IS a way down, I've done it. You need to get on Torrent and jump down the right side of the ruins, aiming for the jagged rocks poking out, then drop down.
Thank you for the excellent fun guide, I followed along in the game as the video unfolded and I now have an awsome armour set, katana and claws. The claws are excellent fun, my favourite of the lot. I defeted the big finger boss with my trusty blasphemous blade, keeping m,y distance as much as I could and letting the mimimc tear take the heat got it first try, thanks.

Guys when you use the o mother emote to get to the next area theres a grace to the left he missed in case no one didnt catch that. Hinterland site of grace
For those of you having an issue with him not leaving, talk to the black knight exhaust all dialogue for both of them, then make sure to press leave with the NPC on the chair instead of walking away to get the final line of dialogue and then it should work as normal
Just an fyi, you can jump down where you turned back. All you have to do is take off your armor and land on the broken door piece at the bottom. Saves you time from going all the way around
For the armor and shield go to Bonny Gaol and the last pot elevator that goes to boss room, stay on it. When it goes back up it will take you to another level.
i consumed the first iris of oocultation i got and i completed the queelign quest already, good to know you can only get 2 of them per run so i cant get this sword, lovely game design

Tip for metyr, use lightning spells it absolutely kills her. I personally used knights lighting spear you get from the huddle area of scorpion catacombs

So the tear helm just for future referance, wont affect your build at all. Unless you just want a little more item discovery. It will however reduce your physical ar.

Literally JUST now finished this video lol i was exploring like crazy . The sword definitely cool , im going yo try out the ash of war in a fight with multiple enemies to see how it do . Stats wise the Star-Lined Sword is better but because the ash of war on the night sword is unblock-able idk which is better 🤷🏽♂️ So i just powered them both up lol
Not sure if this works for everyone but if you accidentally give her iris of grace you have a few seconds to fully close out Elden Ring and join back in and it won’t save and you can give her the other iris (This worked for me so I’m not sure how valid it is and I did this on ps4)
I’m not even in the areas where you were. I think I have to go down the cliff to access more of the map. Another huge issue is probably my build as I invested too much in my character it’s not strong enough I barely beat Rellana and the Divine beast dancing lion with my mimic tears and the cooperator npc. Not a mage to be fair but would like to use mostly everything I pick up. So yeah my points were vested in all attributes, that’s normally how I played base game. Don’t know where I went wrong with my build and it’s too late to change everything around (I’ve used almost all my larval tears rearranging points) and only thing to do is start completely new or level up. So I level up. Tedious it is but I’m getting to a point where I’m not dying as much and can last a little bit longer than before. Sorry about my rambling, point is your guide is how I watch and feel like a guide should be! Also any help for a strength, dex, faith, arcane build because I can’t decide where to invest without messing up the whole build point by point. Elden ring is my first souls game too. Any help appreciated thank you! 🙏

This boss is really, really hard. Just disappointed the great beyond staff is not that great tho, not better than the Regal Scepter or PoD, I'm disappointed to say the least...But the night sword and set makes all the effort a good thing!

ACTUALLY my good man, the place where you said "this actually isn't a way down but you can get a talisman"... I'm not sure if it's intended but you CAN get down there. Let's just say that I'm stubborn and sometimes I get tunnel vision. I didn't even know there was a grace at those ruins, I'd been running from the grace beside the fort of reprimand 😅 Nonetheless my point stands. You can get down there, there is a little sort of bridge-like structure pretty much right in front of you when you walk out onto the ledge from the broken room (the ledge that you can follow left to get the talisman) Btw tyvm for this

If you're tanky try Latenna the Albinauric as your summon, she does major damage to this boss and is ranged far she doesn't take damage.

This DLC is insane
There's more to the Jolan spirit ash as it can be combined with her sister that is a doll at Rabbath's Rise turning it into a duo spirit summon.
This is what a live action version of hollow Knight (the knight of the void) would look like and weild. Love it!

To make the finger boss easier you can use the pest thread spears behind them with a summon infront.

I first-tried Metyr only using bloodhound's finesse with bloodhound fang +10, it melts her health bar and got a stagger half way through.

For the fingers boss, try Impenetrable Thorns sorcery 😉
Already got these. The sword is awesome. You can get another Iris Of Occultation by beating a tree serpent in Church District.
