    Great job on a very thorough review! Snowmobiles are like strippers, they only work when you throw money at them lol :D

    Great review. I share pretty much all the same thoughts on my 22 boost. Had some issues with reliability with my primary clutch, and lots of random engine codes and some detonation issues. Still can’t bring myself to make a switch to a different brand due to the great handling on my Polaris.

    Best reviews on the tube.
    Good work.
    I have the same thoughts on buying, I lowballed a dealer on a show room model and I think he's gonna take it.
    They have like 10 boosts and 9rs.

    You hit the nail on the head man! Great review. No BS I am on my 3rd fuel pump, sled has 599 miles now and still whines. Chopping the throttle this sled is insane at what it can do, from a dead stop it’s like a 550 fan lol. Quick drive always collects snow even with panels closed then freezes when on sled deck over night, Polaris needs some more clearance down there!

      Great point RE QD belt. I always garage my sled, but I do understand your plight here!! Ultimately, she's a beast of a machine, I'd just love to see a little more care into the little things. Maybe Honda will buy Polaris? ;)

    You make the best reveiws on sleds! period! I dont own a boost my self, but some friends of mine have 22 boost matryx slash bla.bla.. but my impression is that the 22 model is a bit rough and not finished all the way. The mapping side of the fuel map and ignition. And in my friend gruop the 2 boost has been a lot in the shop.
    i got lucky and to try a 2023 khaos boost, after getting to try it is true it runs cleaner and way harder on the bottom end then the 22 it was noticeble, just by riding it!
    After been on Polaris for a long time i will jump ship to a G5 Ski doo next season!

    Picking up a 23 khaos boost this weekend, pretty pumped coming off my axys 800 silber setup with just over 4100 miles. Hopefully we can come up with a maintenance schedule to keep these things running.

    Fantastic review as usual, Jeff. Every part of your script is additive and you found angles that I didn’t know I didn’t know. Plus great terrain and riding. I’m on my first Poo this winter, a regular 850 Khaos, but with various stupid injuries and obligations I haven’t yet given it a sustained thrashing. Regardless, now I must meditate on whether you sounded privileged or dumb. False dichotomy?

    I agree on the snowcheck statement... dealers have a ton of inventory. However, the only reason I snowchecked is so that you can get the exact configuration you want. At least where I live, it's still hard to get a 155 9R Khaos Slash, because that's what everyone wanted. Tons of Pros or 165s etc. though if that's what you are wanting. Also, had to snowcheck another Boost just to try out the 3.25 🙃
    Also, hoping they've worked out clutch and brake issues and some other issues had on my 23 9R 🤞

    Good review. Would have been nice to see you doing right hand sidehills in deep snow and give your thoughts.

      Not sure what you mean? There are a myriad of clips of me sidehilling in both directions? 🤔

    Did you ever get to try a 5th gen ski doo turbo, maybe an expert turbo or even the Freeride Turbo? I'm really leaning towards a Ski-Doo because I feel it's a little better built and more reliable. But I think that possibly the Polaris in either a chaos or a pro would be much easier to ride and get it to do what I want. Just not sure what to do this coming season. Currently have a 22 Arctic Cat M8 154 and I feel it's a really hard sled to ride with the monorail. To me it's just not a real easy sled to ride.

      I honestly didn't get much time on one. However, I do think the G5 is a great sled. Is not good enough for me to want to move, but certainly a step in the right direction.

    Sweet review! So the matrix isn’t really a new chassis ?

    • @JeffreyJim09
      @JeffreyJim09  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It absolutely is a new chassis. However, you could very much turn an Axys into a Matryx with a tunnel cut & shorter boards. It'd be 95% the same to 99% of riders.

    Which sled feels more all around wild ? The boost or the 9r?

    • @JeffreyJim09
      @JeffreyJim09  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      “Depends”! The 9R off bottom is nuts. The boost is wild once you get into it. Both are a rodeo in out of box khaos configuration!
