Off topic question that you folks may have an answer to: I have a Frigidaire model almost exactly the same and it's just terrible. Soooo much residue. Yes, I'm using the correct detergents in the correct quantities and I already tried the washing machine cleaning tablets.... Question is: HOW do I clean this thing properly? How do I get it to stop leaving white residue all over my clothing?

Great video!!! It saved me from buying a new all in one. My dryer drum stopped spinning and I found 2 screws inside the drum when unloading my clothes. Issue was...screws that holds the drum to support bearing came loose from inside and the dryer belt became loose. It also came me a chance to vacuum unseen inside of the dryer. It's a fire hazard if it catches fire :(

be great to know where the service manual is kept in these. not in the traditional location on inside wall. trying to figure out how to disable the end of cycle alarms. so annoying

This is a good demonstration. For the washer compartment however, @ 7:30 our model did not have the clips in front that pops the top but was screwed in place from the inside. Eventually we figured out to get the front panel off by removing the bottom two screws and sliding the panel down, which the demonstration showed. We then replaced the drain hose. Thanks

Hi! Great video, I’m to the drum removal part and it won’t come out! Mine is a Frigidaire but an older model. There are screws inside but I’m afraid to remove them without know the repercussions

The technician is saying that he has to STOWER (erase the memory events in the micro inside the mother board) by using a JIG apparatus... But I don't trust him...

My belt is off,but not broken. Best to just replace it,right? Can I get it at Home Depot?
@@rogerpotter7695 I wouldn't bet on finding this kind of part at Home Depot. You'll likely need to go to an Appliance Parts specialty store with your model number.
(I'm not a pro, so take this next comment with a grain of salt.) If it was me, I'd try just slipping it back onto the pully system from the back of the unit in the hopes that you don't need to fully replace the belt. This is much quicker/easier job than replacing the entire belt and it will be good practice if you do eventually need to replace the belt.

where do you get that plastic drum stop which was removed. It was at the top when you removed the front door panel it keep the drum from falling forward.
Seems impossible to find.

This is probably late but there is a mute button on it I think.
I have a ge laundry centre that looks similar to this set up. The washer makes a sharp, loud squeeking noise when it's on the wash mode (when the drum agitates the clothes). Do you have any idea what might be causing that noise and what part I would need to replace? Thanks for making this video!
I’m having this problem now. It is the tub leaking into the bearing underneath causing the noise. Good luck getting it fixed

Hi I’m watching this video because my washer is making a humming noise when I start it , but it does absolutely nothing it doesn’t move or fill with water it just makes that noise. I felt the noise was coming from the drain pump should I replace that?

Then I put the dryer on and it worked, it blew like the washer, it started to smell burnt but it kept working. I turned it off for fear of a major short circuit at home.

My frigidaire washer/dryer unit is spinning slowly during the spin cycle. I'm gonna check the belt's condition but usually from your experience with Frigidaire, what would it usually be?

Thank you for your video. I need to replace a drain hose. I guess I will have to remove the rear lower back panel? Do you have a video for this?
If your machine is like this one, the back panel does not come off. Instead, you need to lay the washer/dryer down, preferably on its front so you can have easy access to the drain pump from the bottom. Note: you may not have to lay the unit all the way down; maybe just a 45° angle will give you enough room to get to the drain pump.

my dyer turns of after 5 to 10 seconds
Check thermal limiter on the upper rear left of dryer, you may have to remove drum, if it is open , replace it, then make sure duct vent is clean.
Do you have to remove the drum just to replace the belt?
No but you gotta remove the dryer door and loosen the top and you’ll have access to replace belt

Ah I have the 120 I ended up figuring it out but from Watching your video I guess I unhooked the drum stop and never took the panel off to put it on I didn't know what it was lol

Somehow my hamster decided to get stuck inside my washing machine and now deceased I’m stuck having to find the remains 😐

@@repairclinicyeah it looked like she passed painfully.. she was resting on top of the plastic piece that is over that spinning motor thing. I had her since she was born so it was hard to process.
